Any government that supports protects or harbors, terrorists is complicit in the murder of the innocent and equally guilty of terrorist crimes. George W. Bush

I'm amazed that I've begun to agree with Shrub, and Ronnie, and sometimes even Rand Paul, and a few other OLD R's.

Even they see the current writing on the walls, and it AIN'T WRITTEN IN GOLD.

Boy how those words can come back to haunt us.

And wouldn't it be loverly if those silent R's LOST their seats in the next elections? They think silence buys them continued government employment? No guarantees there, my friends.

Sofi martinez's avatar

Judy you are correct 💯💯💯 their Republican Silence stance continues because they are scared to death of their old 80 year FASCIST FART djt!!!

Lois W. Halbert's avatar

Silence is going to cost them their jobs

Democrats need to do more going on offense instead of just going on defense. We need more Crocketts, more AOCs, more Newsoms instead of handwringers and pearl twisters like Schumers and their ilk.

S. A. Linden's avatar

We do. But a number of those, including Crockett, voted on the bill this week to among other things, send more money to Israel. My rep was among the guilty too.

Diane J's avatar

I agree that Israel doesn't need our money -they get free Healthcare, K-12 & higher education free and more yet we don't but are expected to support a country with more benefits Congress will give us.

Democrats on both sides of the house should be going hard and heavy at every single illegal activity that is being perpetrated by the Trump administration in this Department of justice, especially challenging the Epstein law act that Trump himself signed that they now want to escape

Linda's avatar

We also need to show our support behind the Dems in every part of the Country…

Jim Jordan is a real piece of 💩! MAGA to the nth degree! He must go!

K C's avatar

He has gross ties to Trump and his trafficking ring.

Tammy's avatar

He's in the files. Listen to Sacha Rileys interviews.

God yes. I'm in Ohio and I'd LOVE to see that b go. And Darrel Issa, is he running again? Sanctimonious prick.

Kim B's avatar

I’m in Ohio too. Jordan is not my rep, but David Taylor is cut from the same disgusting maga mold, so he’s no better.

John A. Jaksich's avatar

The cowardice of the GOP is staggering.

Candace Lucas's avatar

i think there would be a lot more republicans voting to curb or even impeach trump if they did blind voting. They are cowards who don't want trump or any MAGA to know that they oppose him.

Good was bleeding out as they prevented access to two medical people.

Kim B's avatar

The agents who refused to let a doctor on scene attend to her and the agents who wouldn’t move their vehicles to allow the ambulance access to her all need to be charged as accomplices to her murder. What kind of animals deny medical care to a shooting victim?!

Thank you. We need all the pushback and accountability we can find

Is it too much to ask for the members of congress to tell the gish galloping appointees of this administration, that any answer other than yes or no, to a yes or no question, will be considered contempt of congress and obstruction of a congressional investigation. And when the DOJ refuses to prosecute, the members of congress issue articles of impeachment.

Hey Ben!

What happened with Michael Cohen?? Did you let him go or did he go on his own??

Wendy C Johnson's avatar

Thank you! I can't expect you to know everything about every body. I appreciate you taking action .

Ana's avatar

Agree! TY Ben!

Kathleen Yost's avatar

Thank you! I had briefly subscribed to him and I was annoyed and offended by many of his speaking points. I unsubscribed and I NEVER watch anyone program who has him on as a guest.

Ms. H's avatar

I’ve been following the story with Ellie and Steve. I saw Tara’s conversation with Steve but not the interview she had with Cohen yet. This is perfect, thanks for posting this link.

Wanda Sciarrino's avatar

Why? What has Congress done about Epstein? The DOJ? WHAT HAVE WE DONE? He was a fixer but didn't know CONald at the time.

I am not defending Cohen but could Trump’s goons got to him? It makes me wonder because I know how underhanded Trump and Fox hate Meidas…Meidas speaks Truth to Power and we know how much Trump hates that..I would love to see one of our Meidas own go on the CNN Abby Philips to discuss view points against Scott Jennings who has his own Maga Podcast…He drinks too much koolaid…

EXCELLENT REPORTING BEN!!! When you’re talking to these leaders, can you just emphasize to them the importance of communicating all of the steps they’re taking to combat this fascist regime. If they could just put out a weekly list of all of the things they are doing instead of relying on the public to Listen to hearings (people do not have the time to sit and listen to these hearings or listen to politicians come on line and tell us what the problem is over and over and over). Democrats need to be succinct in listing what they are doing to contribute to the solution. I am very well read, but most of the time I find it out through the Mideas touch network, popok, mockler, bulwark legal reporting, et al. I can’t tell you how many people who are educated that don’t subscribe to your network even though I tell them this is where to find out what’s going on. It would help greatly if Democrat leaders could get together and every week put out what they are doing to combat this war being waged on Americans. It doesn’t have to be complicated – just some bullet points so that if they want to find out more, they can. there are so many ways to disseminate information - they need to stop with the short blurbs on what the problem is and put out a list of what they are doing. Every time I listen to Pete Buttigieg talk I want to scream because all he does is tell us what the problem is. He sounds like every corporate wonk I ever dealt with. I was told by a Democratic friend to not upset the Apple cart because we need every good Democrat leader to help us over the finish line. I agree, however, we cannot just be another cult Member who follows our party because we are afraid to speak up about what it is we want. We can never move forward in this country unless we have a hard look at ourselves and realize that it is complacency that helped to get us here. It’s the blind following of a party that allows leaders to just mail it in. We get bored, the leaders get bored and here we are. We need a weekly list of wins in the courts & items of whats being done - it would go a long way to energize EVERYONE.
