Blame for this horrifying tragedy can safely be laid at the feet of Elon Musk and his coterie of incels, including "Big Balls." (And of course DJT and Stephen Miller.) Gutting the National Weather Service and associated emergency notification systems has real-world consequences.

I chose to focus on the message that all our children are precious. The children of the people struggling to make ends meet, the children whose parents have been lucky enough to be able to provide for them.

The children who were born here, as well as the children whose parents brought them here.

The only inhabitants of the United States who were NOT immigrants were the indigenous people who lived here first.

Please explain to me how 26 feet of water can just fall from the sky in less than 45 minutes that’s beyond mother nature‘s power. I researched. Was it a levy did something break there’s no NO information that I could find for the reason for this depth of water in a short amount of time But one thing is for sure. The meteorological technology that used to be able to warn people was gutted and we are entering hurricane season. I heard governor Abbott. He doesn’t even deserve to be called that saying don’t worry FEMA will be helping people. How can he straight out lie they gutted FEMA. Stay by state they are demolishing peoples houses land grabbing and yes people‘s lives and especially the children are getting caught up in this insanity. One of the directors of that Christian camp said on TikTok maybe the only reason this is getting the short term media coverage that it is Because the parents pay $5000 for those kids to go to that camp. She admitted if these were poor kids, it wouldn’t even be getting this much attention. No child’s life should have to have a price tag on it. It will only take a matter of a week and this story will disappear just like all the other tragedies and atrocities that are happening right now Unless it’s something newsworthy like selling alligator Alcatraz hats and T-shirts showing the cages people will be put in also bringing in individual incinerators. The videos are out there. It’s real people start calling this what it is genocide. I refused to participate on July for in any way shape or form, and I will never do it again. Under the right conditions a storm that quickly delivers 10 inches of rain can easily cause a river to crest many feet above flood stage. Imagine the volume of rain 10 inches deep over just 1 acre. That is 36,300 cubic feet of water. I am guessing as to how many acres of rain would feed into that local river. Lets say 50 so that is more than 1,800,000 cubic feet of new water finding its way into the river in a short period of time. For a comparison, I figure that much water would cover 10 pro football fields to a height of 34 feet. With over 13 million gallons of rushing water with thousands of pounds of pressure in a narrow gulley, the only way for the water to go is up. ____ That said, this sad event may well have been preventable but it will be just one of many future disasters to occur because of the life threatening policies of the Orange Asshole and his toady, repugnant enablers. Vote BLUE in 2026. It will be our only chance to prevent a looming forever dictatorship.

Almost all nations in the developed world have more or less comprehensive family policies. Why couldn’t United States have the same, or at least approximation of it?

The GOP has made it clear since Sandy Hook that they don't care about children. Gun money is more important. Climate change is a hoax. Who cares if our grandchildren don't have a liveable planet? Why should we pay taxes for schools? Or school lunches? Or after-school programs that might keep kids away from crime? Or libraries? Or child care? Or prenatal and maternity health care? Let's just attack the migrants instead, many of whom are fleeing the destruction of their towns and farms because of global warming. This has actually been going on since the 1980s. Prolife is a lie. Probirth is what they want. They are wrong in so many ways.
