Our allies are rapidly distancing themselves from us. They are not including us in their own security plans and are less likely to share important intelligence with us. They see us allying with Putin and other authoritarian governments, as well as acting like them with our aggressiveness towards Greenland and Canada. We are becoming more isolated from allegiances that have taken years to develop and maintain. And, yes, this only encourages bad actors because they are less concerned about U.S. retaliation.
