SPEAKER 2
The bill is passed without objection. The motion to reconsider is laid upon the table. Pursuing to close. So that's the moment the MAGA Republican members of Congress were cheering that they passed their CR, their continuing resolution. That reminds me of something. Where have I seen clapping like that before,
0:23
where people look terrified by clapping at the same time? Oh, yeah, I think I've seen that before. It looks like that's what these MAGA Republicans have become these days. It looks a little bit Kim Jong Unish, and I guess there's a reason why Donald Trump looks up to Kim Jong Un. When you look at this continuing resolution,
0:39
there are about 22 different instances at least, although I want to see if there may be even more than that, in this bill where the funding for certain programs is set at zero dollars. And if you look at the types of things that are being cut

Rep. Joe Neguse on Republicans Cheering as They Make Americans Suffer

I sat down with Congressman Joe Neguse to expose the absurdity and cruelty of the GOP’s latest continuing resolution.

By Ben Meiselas

You ever see a clip and think, Are they clapping… or being held hostage? That’s what it looked like on the House floor when MAGA Republicans celebrated the passage of their so-called “continuing resolution.” The dead-eyed applause reminded me of something out of Pyongyang—and that’s no coincidence. When your party worships at the altar of Donald Trump, everything starts to look like a loyalty test rather than governance.

I broke this all down on the latest episode of the MeidasTouch Network and brought on a sharp voice in Congress to help make sense of it—Representative Joe Neguse of Colorado, a member of the House Rules Committee and a true champion for working families.

Let me be clear: this continuing resolution is a disaster. It zeroes out funding for essential programs—health care, education, the EPA, nutrition assistance, and even veterans benefits. And yet MAGA Republicans cheered like they just won a trophy. In reality, they’re actively hurting their own constituents. These are the same clowns who spent years claiming they’d never support another CR unless it was “clean.” Now? They pass a dirty, cruel, self-sabotaging bill and try to spin it like it’s some Trumpian “win.”

Rep. Neguse nailed it when he said it’s “the height of absurdity.” While Americans’ 401(k)s tank, prices rise, and economic uncertainty looms, Republicans are more focused on praising their cult leader and staging infomercials for Teslas on the White House lawn with Elon Musk than actually helping people.

Let that sink in. The MAGA Republicans are torching your quality of life while pretending they’re doing you a favor. It’s not just dishonest—it’s dangerous. They’ve turned the U.S. Congress into a bad reality show, and everyday Americans are the ones paying the price.

Congressman Neguse spoke about hearing real frustration from folks across the political spectrum in his Colorado district. Not just Democrats—Republicans and independents too. People are waking up. They didn’t vote for chaos. They didn’t vote for economic sabotage. And they sure as hell didn’t vote for this authoritarian-style clapping and propaganda parade.

If you're sick of the gaslighting, the corruption, and the nonstop performance art coming out of the MAGA GOP, now’s the time to get loud. Share the truth. Call it out. Demand Democrats in the Senate reject this bill unless serious changes are made to protect the programs we rely upon.

I don't think Trump is out of touch with reality. The reality is that many Americans want exactly what Trump represents -- and they got it! The Dems are the ones who are out of touch with reality -- that's why they lost the election for Pres.

Expand full comment
Irene Finn's avatar

That explains the farmers who are now crying because Trump got rid of the Infrastructure bill and now they lost funding, yet they voted for him, the state of Kentucky who lost money from their bourbon industry thanks to Trump, etc etc. His approval has taken a nose dive. Sometimes ya gotta be careful what you ask for. Price of groceries fixed yet? Keep guzzling that kool aid, Dik.

Expand full comment
Dik de Bruijn's avatar

Don't know what kool aid, you're referring to. It's been clear to me for many years that Trump is nothing but a charlatan whose every sentence contains at least 1 lie. That's why I voted straight Blue and supported Blue candidates across the country. But it's also very clear that Trump is exactly what some people want and that Dems are out of touch with better than half the American public. If I misconstrued your "guzzling" comment, so sorry!

Irene Finn's avatar

It was the last sentence that led me to believe you were a Trump supporter. For that, I apologize. Seems to me that there is a mindless indoctrination going on with the new GOP. No matter what Trump says or does, maga goes along with it. I don't think the Dems are out of touch with reality. They just don't fall for Trump's lies and misinformation.

Expand full comment
Dik de Bruijn's avatar

I see. No, I am not a Trump supporter. Never have been. Recognized he is a vile person 30+ years ago when he first came to my attention.

However, I am also not giving someone a pass because they are Dems (= not "guzzling" the Dem Kool-Aid either). Ex: if you watched the warm-fuzzy YouTubes MTN et al. put out before the election, you could be forgiven for having thought there is no way Trump could win. "His base is leaving his rallies, he's having sex with a microphone, he's deranged" -- all true, yet that didn't matter to his base. I'm sure those predictions were based in large part on Dems being out of touch with the reality of Trump's lasting appeal AND what most concerns everyday Americans. And that mind set had disastrous consequences: people didn't bother to vote because they were told Trump was no longer electable.

Expand full comment
Irene Finn's avatar

Agreed. I am a moderate, somewhere in the middle. I am one of the MI swing voters that everyone hates. I don't agree with the Dems on all points, but the GOP has completely gone off the rails. At this point, I will continue to vote Dem until the Trump stain is gone. If it ever is.

"Y'all, I've never been afraid to call a spade a spade.

And the past few weeks — as I’ve watched Trump abandon Ukraine, cozy up to Russia, and leave our allies high and dry — have been no exception.

That’s why I had no choice but to call Trump out the only way I know how:

There's no other way to explain Trump's actions.

- Only a Putin loyalist would try to humiliate Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people like that.

- Only a Putin loyalist would abandon our European allies and the global fight for democracy.

- And only a Putin loyalist would undermine America’s strength on the international stage.

But that’s exactly what Trump has done — and I’m more committed than ever before to making sure he’s forced to deal with a DEMOCRATIC Congress ASAP." (Jasmine Crockett)

Vance can be impeached as well. And I disagree that he's be worse. Vance can't command a cult like Donald can. No one likes him much. While your statement is true that JD Vance is as bad as Trump, you are missing some key dactors in my opinion. The right wing media has been painting Trump as their ultimate savior for over a decade now. He is the Chosen One only out done, and barely, by Jesus Christ to these people. FOX News has spent 10 years of pure propaganda building him up to impossible standards and lying to their face. Also Trump spent 60 years trying to cultivate the image of a super successful businessman which I hate to say worked. JD Vance will have be the billionaires little errand boy but he can't rile the base like Trump can (he's not that morally flexible). While an extreme segment would support him, he's still not their guy and no one will be passionate about him. Getting away from the extremist, and the general populace find him weird. Basically, people will be less excited to commit crimes on JD Vances behalf.

Now we need a committee to investigate with recommendations on how to get our nation on the right path, as we need to restore order -- and quick! Before more damage comes down on all of us so nothing can be done to rid the top-heavy branch. General Washington had it right when he did not want to serve as the new nation's powerful leader. Make all 3 branches the way our forefathers planned without too much power in the executive side. It needs to be checked, so get back all the ones who can check agencies, and rail in the executive. We can’t goad them, but if they come to us, better to welcome them, than beat them over the head with their gullibility. I don't disagree with your assessment, nor of the ones above. I and many Canadians, heck many folks across the globe, have been astonished and disquieted by the rise of MAGA, the size of MAGA, and its vicious and wilful ignorance, fuelled by Fox "News".

But. While I understand most of them will never be able to examine their beliefs, the fact remains shaming them does more harm than good. You really do need to smooth the path to exiting the cult for them. Less division is the goal.

There has been a lot of rumination on who and why they are. I think the toxicity of the myth of American Exceptionalism coupled with the idea that *everyone* gets a hand-delivered America Dream creates a disconnect these people get caught in. Historian Michael Burleigh stated that: (As Hitler rose to power) “A dreadful mass sentimentality [gripped the nation] compounded of anger, fear, resentment and self-pity.” I think something similar binds the MAGA nation together.

Democrats introduced many amendments to stop tax cuts: • First, stop tax cuts for those making over $10 million a year—Republicans voted no. • Second, they tried to set the cutoff at $100 million—Republicans still said no. • Third, they tried to set the cutoff at $500 million—Republicans still said no. • Fourth, they tried to set the cutoff at $1 billion— Republicans said they were for giving billionaires a tax break on the backs of the poor and the elderly. 1) Republicans, 217 of them in the House, won’t even block tax cuts for people making $1 billion in a single year. 2) Republicans, 217 of them in the House, are more than happy to slash funding for kids with disabilities and seniors in nursing homes to give billionaires a financial break. Democrats did not ally with Russia and set up Ukraine for total invasion. Democrats did not attempt suppress votes. Democrats respected the powers appropriated to Congress. Democrats did not tie federal funds to how any particular state voted...no discrimination against Red states. Democrats did not feel the need to ignore the Constitution, shut down the Department of Education, limit women's health care, ban books or make fringe issues like trans athletes major concerns. IT PISSES ME OFF WHEN I KNOW BIDEN LEFT OFFICE HE LEFT A GREAT ECONOMY YES EGGS WERE HIGH BUT CHICKEN WERE SICK HAD TO BE KILLED.

BEST EMPLOYMENT EVER. ALL PEOPLE HAD TO DO WAS LOOK AT 401k

Jobs were everywhere

Also I believe that some of high cost in grocery stores were from Equity Firms that bought 100s of Grocery Stores raised prices then 1hr right before election sold these Grocery stores to a Big Company out of Canada several other Equity firms. I really found it all odd when I found out a local Large Family Owned Grocery Stores were bought out by Equity Firms connected to Peter Theil. They added few improvements & 1 1/2 yr later right after election they sold them all what was interesting they raised the Groceries in those stores 26% I only know this because I was wondering what the difference would be. I know it’s an odd thing to do but it’s seem Equity Firms enjoy raising Grocery prices. Theil had just married another Billionaire who owned equity firm but both sold them off before Dec. Now Canada owns Lucky, Save Mart, Albertsons, Food for Less it’s all so damn odd.

I never could figure out why Peter Theil Push Masters in AZ to win his race When he lost he found someone else to move along.

Peter Theil helped one person get a job after he got out Military JD Vance but Vance Couldn’t keep a job so Theil got him another Vance did work so well didnt like to work so guess what Theil did helped Vance with loan to open his own Equity Firm lol can’t make this up it went under within 2yrs Theil back Vance’s Sen Race won but why did Theil want someone in Congress? He d

paid 50m to DJT to get meet with Trump for VP. Why Peter Theil, Zuckerberg Bezo Google all have 1 Thing in common first trump term he wanted investigation into all these companies including Twitter why to big? Not sure but IT explains a whole a lot of things if you ask me Facebook, Google Amazon are big either put in place Campaign reform bill where these creeps can’t spend $277 mil Buying WH seat or break these corporations up when is going to stop they will buy WH every race not right MUSK had 4 investigations into his companies now? was it worth $277m to him most likely sad I can’t buy WH

This just my opinion I did do some digging as well as Rachel Maddow had research a bit about Vance when he couldn’t hold jobs that’s where I got that info

The Grocery store I did the digging. I feel like if Americans don’t fight hard and loud we will lose our Country to a despicable dictator Trump we must be prepared to protest LOUD AND HARD WITH MILLIONS BECAUSE WE CAN BEAT TRUMP HES AS WEAK AS EVER AT CONFRONTATIONAL HE IS ONLY STRONG IN HIS ON HEAD. IF REPUBLICANS CHOSE HIM OVER CONSTITUTION & CONSTITUTES THEY WILL LOSE ever time

Tell Your Senators to Vote NO on a Measure to Coronate Emperor Elon

Please act now! Urge the US Senate to reject the House’s extremist, right wing continuing resolution (CR) that threatens essential programs and gives Elon Musk free reign to plunder our federal government.

Call your Senators now! Dial (202) 224-3121. A switchboard operator will connect you directly with the Senate offices you request. Ask to speak with the staffer working on budgetary issues or the chief of staff. Leave a message if they’re not available.

Tell them to vote NO on the House continuing resolution (CR) and filibuster it to kill it.

Tell them to vote yes on the Murray/DeLauro continuing resolution instead.

Call ASAP and call every day this week.

Share this with all your contacts now!

Here’s why the Senate must kill the House CR, even if it risks a government shutdown:

House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries explained, “the legislation does nothing to protect Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, while exposing the American people to further pain throughout this fiscal year.”

Ranking member of the House Appropriations Committee Rep. Rosa DeLauro said, “Republican leadership [is] handing over the keys to the government and a blank check to Elon Musk, and to President Trump … to continue to undermine the Constitution.”

The House-passed CR would further bloat weapons spending by $6 billion and slash essential spending by $13 billion. Democrats in Congress know that the legislation would unconstitutionally let Trump and Musk redirect funding at their whim. They’ve both already targeted Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.

If the Senate passes the House CR, that would slash Army Corps of Engineers projects to protect people from hurricanes and floods, while letting the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s disaster relief fund run out of money before the end of the fiscal year. That means countless people will die unnecessarily from extreme weather events.

For these and many other reasons, tell your Senators to kill the House CR and pass the Murray/DeLauro CR instead. Call your Senators at (202) 224-3121.

A switchboard operator will connect you directly with the Senate offices you request. Ask to speak with the staffer working on budget issues or the chief of staff.

Leave a message if they’re not available.

Share this with all your contacts now!

Thank you for taking action!

In solidarity,

Mike Hersh for Progressive Democrats of America

The USDA pulled $1 billion in funding from two programs that provided money for schools and food banks to purchase food from local farms.

These programs were created under Biden’s administration to simultaneously support farmers and local food producers and provide food to families in need. Schools and childcare facilities were counting on this funding to feed their students. With grocery costs increasing, these cuts are cruel, unnecessary, and put Americans at risk of going hungry.

"NOT THE FIGHT DEMS WANTED TODAY: Ahead of a midnight deadline to fund the government … at a moment when escalating tariffs and raging economic uncertainty have put the Dow on track for its worst week in two years … as President Donald Trump is expected to invoke the 1798 Alien Enemies Act to carry out mass deportations as soon as today … with the president due to speak this afternoon at the Justice Department amid ongoing concerns about its independence and the rule of law … Democrats are seized by a debate over Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s reluctant support for the House GOP’s continuing resolution to avoid a shutdown.

The summary: On Tuesday, the House approved a stopgap that would keep the federal government funded through the end of the fiscal year, 217-213. … On Wednesday, Schumer announced that the House-backed CR did not not have the eight Democratic votes needed to overcome a filibuster — which some observers interpreted to mean that Schumer was going to go all-in on opposing the CR. … Yesterday, Schumer announced that he will support the CR.

What Schumer said: “As bad as passing the continuing resolution would be, I believe a government shutdown is far worse,” he wrote in a Times op-ed, launching into four primary reasons for that calculation:

(1) A shutdown would give Trump and Elon Musk the ability to “destroy vital government services at a significantly faster rate than they can right now;”

(2) Republicans could use the shutdown to “cherry-pick which parts of government to reopen;”

(3) it’d mean “real pain for American families,” and;

(4) it would distract from the “chaos” reining across government and the economy.

Cue the outrage. While it’s almost a certainty that there are a sufficient number of Senate Dems who privately share Schumer’s thinking, you sure didn’t hear from them in the ensuing maelstrom of reactions.

Today, you’re going to want to watch a few different things …

1. The split within the Senate Dem caucus. Support for the CR does not break down neatly along ideological lines. Yes, Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) will vote for cloture. Yes, the most prominent lefties are nos. But it’s striking how many early-tenure Democratic senators — especially those from states Trump carried in 2024 — have lined up in opposition to the CR across a wide spectrum of views.

Consider this: In the hours after Schumer told his colleagues his position on the CR, Sens. Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.), Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.), Jon Ossoff (D-Ga.), and Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.) all reiterated their opposition to the CR. Add to that mix a few freshmen from bluer states, like Andy Kim (D-N.J.), Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-Del.), and Angela Alsobrooks (D-Md.), and you start to see a breakdown that is perhaps less ideological than generational. These younger, newer members view the world differently, Senate insiders told Playbook last night.

2. The House Dem reaction. One of the most surprising developments of the last 12 hours is that late last night, House Democratic leadership — repeat: not backbenchers — felt compelled to release a fiery statement that does not give Senate Dems who support the CR much of any room for cover.

From the statement: “The far-right Republican funding bill will unleash havoc on everyday Americans, giving Donald Trump and Elon Musk even more power to continue dismantling the federal government,” read the joint release from Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Whip Katherine Clark and Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar. “House Democrats will not be complicit.”

Thought bubble: When was the last time that fellow Brooklynites Jeffries and Schumer seemed on such different pages in such a public manner?

And the caucus seems unified: “Virtually every swing district House Dem walked the plank to vote NO for a reason,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) noted last night. The gentlewoman from Queens was at a House Dem retreat in Virginia, where some members were “so infuriated with Schumer’s decision that some have begun encouraging her to run against Schumer in a primary, according to a Democratic member who directly spoke with Ocasio-Cortez about running,” CNN’s Sarah Ferris reports. “The member said that Democrats in Leesburg were ‘so mad’ that even centrist Democrats were ‘ready to write checks for AOC for Senate,’ adding that they have ‘never seen people so mad.’”

3. If not fight now, then when? On some level, this is a debate about what an effective resistance looks like. “In a political economy that requires attention and friction, we are passing up a huge opportunity to fight an unpopular president and his billionaire buddy,” posted Mike Casca, AOC’s chief of staff. “Fights define you. FDR knew this. Harry Reid knew this.”

But but but: Former Reid right hand Adam Jentleson sees it quite differently: “Schumer is right. Dems are understandably spoiling for a fight but this was not it. … Fight — but pick smart fights.”

What would a “smart” fight look like? The “oppose the CR” argument is more or less as Casca laid it out. But there are, of course, other ways to see it. Matt Yglesias offers a different view: The House Dems’ approach failed to bring Republicans to the negotiating table because they ruled out giving any votes to the CR. As a result, the party-line bill had to placate conservative Republicans, and as such, shifted “public policy to the right somewhat.” Senate Dems were left with no cards, and keeping the government open is the less-bad option.

Or, as Senate Republicans see it: “The Democrats have A or B: Keep the government open or yield the authority to the president,” Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.), told my POLITICO colleagues Jennifer Scholtes and Megan Messerly.

That’s the calculation Schumer made: “Musk has already said he wants a shutdown, and public reporting has shown he is already making plans to expedite his destruction of key government programs and services,” Schumer said on the Senate floor last night. “A shutdown would give Donald Trump the keys to the city, the state and the country.”

The question now: How many other Senate Dems are making the same calculation?" (Politico)

❌ Received backlash for trying to close FIFTY Social Security offices with a team of child interns (some of which are only teenagers);

❌Was exposed for plotting the biggest cut to the VA and medical research in modern history;

❌ And is under fire for claiming Elon Musk both is and isn’t the head of DOGE and is and isn’t a member of the department (this ambiguity gives him legal cover and allows him to not need to comply with ethics or conflict of interest laws)." (314 Action)

People had 8+ years to see what Trump is, and he made it clear what part Musk was going to play in his administration. Perhaps we'd like to think our fellow Americans aren't vengeful or stupid, but rather naive or ill-informed. That may be true in many cases, but it's equally likely that people thought any sacrifices they had to make would pale in comparison with the satisfaction of "owning the libs" and "sticking it to the others."

Headline featuring Elon attacking Mark Kelly.

"When I joined the Navy, I swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution. I did it again when I was sworn in as Arizona’s United States Senator. I will continue to uphold that oath, and because it matters to our national security, I’m going to stand with Ukraine until they win a peace that protects their sovereignty and safety.

Elon is only looking out for himself. And if he doesn’t understand that defending freedom is a basic tenet of what makes America great and keeps us safe, maybe he should leave it to those of us who do."

Just want to make sure as many people as possible see this. It was from a commenter on the Dworkin Report and it's a great idea so feel free to share!

On March 15th, many people will mail Donald Trump a postcard that publicly expresses our opposition to him. And we, in vast numbers, from all corners of the world, will overwhelm the man with his unpopularity and failure. We will show the media and the politicians what standing with him — and against us — means. And most importantly, we will bury the White House post office in pink slips, all informing Donnie that he’s fired.

Each of us — every protester from every march, each congress calling citizen, every boycotter, volunteer, donor, and petition signer — if each of us writes even a single postcard, and we put them all in the mail on the same day, March 15th, well: you do the math.

No alternative fact or Russian translation will explain away our record-breaking, officially-verifiable, warehouse-filling flood of fury. Hank Aaron currently holds the record for fan mail, having received 900,000 pieces in a year. We’re setting a new record: over a million pieces in a day, with not a single nice thing to say.

So sharpen your wit, unsheathe your writing implements, and see if your sincerest ill-wishes can pierce Donald’s famously thin skin.

Prepare for March 15th, 2025, a day hereafter to be known as #TheIdesOfTrump

Write one postcard. Write a dozen! Take a picture and post it on social media, tagged with #TheIdesOfTrump ! Spread the word! Everyone on Earth should let Donnie know how he’s doing. They can’t build a wall high enough to stop the mail.

Then, on March 15th, mail your messages to:

President (for now) Donald J. Trump

The White House

1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW

Washington, DC 20500

It might just be enough to make him crack or at least stress him out.

Not my original post, but someone else's great idea!

"Stop Elon Musk from launching his own currency.

Congress is fast-tracking the GENIUS Act and the STABLE Act, two dangerous bills that would let Big Tech and Wall Street create their own stablecoins, with minimal oversight. This legislation would allow Elon Musk, Meta, or Amazon to become their own private banks, controlling digital money, collecting vast amounts of personal financial data, and even destabilizing the economy.

These bills are a dream come true for crypto speculators and corporate giants. They would allow companies like X (formerly Twitter) to launch their own stablecoins with no meaningful federal oversight posing massive risks to financial stability, consumer privacy, and fair competition.

If a major tech-issued stablecoin failed, it could trigger a market crash that would impact everyone, whether or not you’ve ever used crypto.

At the same time, crypto executives are actively working to weaken financial regulators and dismantle the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the very agency that would protect people from payment fraud.

Don't let the fraud-ridden crypto industry cause market crashes or collapse the economy. Demand Congress vote no on current stablecoin legislation – the GENIUS Act and STABLE Act – before they create the next financial disaster.

SIGN and SEND

These bills also completely fail to protect consumers. Unlike traditional banks, stablecoin issuers would not have to follow longstanding guidelines that ensure banks serve the communities they profit from.

There are no clear rules for how stablecoin issuers must handle redemptions meaning they could impose excessive fees, long delays, or outright refuse to let people cash out. This could leave everyday consumers holding the bag in the next crypto crash.

The crypto industry is pouring money into lobbying to get these bills passed. But we know what happens when regulators give Wall Street and Silicon Valley too much leeway working people pay the price when their risky schemes collapse.

Congress must not put our economy in the hands of unregulated tech

n the GENIUS Act and STABLE Act now."

A similar incident happened at Trump’s first cabinet meeting when someone to his left began to laugh and clap at something he had said. Trump then leaned over to see who it was. That’s when all the other members realized that if he noticed somebody who laughed and clapped at something he’d said then he would also notice (presumably) those who didn’t— so they all started clapping. A scene straight out of North Korea.

Republicans are soo out of touch with reality. They blame every criticism that they receive squarely upon the democratic party and claim that it is an offensive attack on all republicans and the president. As if a life-long independent such as myself couldn't have my own serious criticisms and objections to the maga cult, which I do. Think Mcfly!

I'm freaking out because I rely on my SSA retirement benefits to sustain myself monthly while Elon Musk and his goons are messing with the IT systems for payments and we've been warned there MAY BE interruptions in payments. I've paid into the system since 16 yo and I'm 71. F*ck TRUMP ELON and ALL GOP!

Obama just asked me for more money. I replied:

I’m sorry President Obama. With the current situation I don’t have any hope. Trump / Musk / and the Heritage anti-democratic cabal have usurped power and threaten our very way of life. Yet you are NOT TAKING THE LEAD IN OPPOSING THIS TYRANNY! They’ve sold Ukraine off to Putin and separated the US from NATO and are threatening both Canada and Mexico—even Greenland. They have seriously undermined our security. Their tariffs will ruin the economy. Their assault on our federal government will destroy our public service and lead to human catastrophe—people will die from disease and many will suffer from needless unemployment.

WILL YOU PLEASE STAND UP AND THE OPPOSITION!!

Hopefully,

Dr. Richard Van Atta

The plan is too simple. Destroy the country's government, economy ,people's lives. Have protestors on the streets, have your extremists that you freed from jail create violence as an excuse to declare martial law. All dictators control their army. Martial law will be permanent and it is coming soon. Because the media even meidas touch are in denial and still praising eachother and looking for subscriptions instead of leading a proper response to a coup.. prove me wrong and I'll shut up..

But they did vote for chaos, they just thought it wouldn’t reach them.. I have little sympathy for Trump voters and I am only interested in their swing vote come 26’ and beyond.

What's depressing and infuriating is that things had to get this bad for many people to even *start* waking up. I'm still in favor of shipping all 77 million Trump voters to Mars, but if they pass a citizenship test they can stay here. They can even have two tries.

The majority of the 77 million are probably all Fox viewers. You're to generous I would only give them one chance. They probably never read the Constitution or know the bill of rights either.

Will someone please explain to me how the Dictator Deranged Psycho in the Oval Office, together with the REAL president, the muskRAT, can do ALL of this (eliminate government jobs, etc.) "legally"? How in the heck does he have that much POWER to do all of this (fire everyone)???????? Isn't there something in the Constitution that states that it's "against the law"?

The people he's trying to fire are all in the executive branch. The president is in charge of the executive branch. True, in the past, presidents have had reasonably competent advisers and also had at least a grasp of U.S. history and how the Constitution works. That is not true of this president -- for whom 77 million USians unaccountably voted.

there are about 22 different instances at least, although I want to see if there may be even more than that, in this bill where the funding for certain programs is set at zero dollars. And if you look at the types of things that are being cut
