I had the chance to catch up with Democratic Congressman Jared Moskowitz on the MeidasTouch Network this week. In case you didn’t already know, the MAGA Republicans are panicking. Why? Because Democrats just forced their hand on the Oversight Committee and got Republicans to agree—on record—to subpoena the Jeffrey Epstein files from the DOJ. Now the same GOP clowns who used to scream about Epstein are tripping over themselves to say, “There’s nothing to see here, folks!” and begging us to just move on.
Really? Move on?
Congressman Ryan Zinke is suddenly concerned about “protecting the innocent.” Senator Roger Marshall is babbling about Hillary Clinton’s emails and tranquilizers. And another Republican, Jimenez, pivoted so hard to gas prices and “the big beautiful bill” that he made zero grammatical sense. Don’t they realize how obvious they are?
As Congressman Moskowitz put it, “If they weren’t hiding something, why the hell did they send us home early?” Congress was dismissed, committees canceled, and votes wiped off the calendar, all to avoid facing what’s in those files. And yes, Trump’s name is reportedly all over them.
This all started when Trumpworld—Don Jr., Kash Patel, Pam Bondi—themselves started drawing attention to the Epstein files. But the moment it became clear that Trump might be implicated, they flipped the script. Suddenly, it’s a “hoax.” Suddenly, the people who’ve screamed about deep state conspiracies are trying to bury the very truth they claimed they wanted. And let’s be clear: Trump’s own DOJ blocked the release of the Epstein files in the first place.
And while all this is happening, Kristi Noem is turning FEMA into a political dumpster fire. Moskowitz, who actually knows emergency response as Florida’s former head of emergency management, broke down the horrifying situation: career experts fired, life-saving search and rescue teams sidelined, billions in disaster aid withheld. All because Noem wants to micromanage FEMA like it’s her personal fiefdom. People are dying, and this administration is playing politics.
What ties this all together? Lies. Deflection. Cowardice. The MAGA Republicans are trying to hide the truth from the American people, whether it’s about Epstein, Trump, or their own grotesque mismanagement of disaster response.
But we’re not going to let them.
This interview isn’t just about Epstein or FEMA. It’s about accountability. It’s about reminding America what a real threat to democracy looks like, and why we must never stop demanding the truth.
