They are probably exempt from his tax cuts. I'm sure they wouldn't vote for themselves to have to pay more. They are probably getting a tax cut not paying more. It's probably hidden down so far in the bill, that nobody could find it.
MAGA won't understand until they themselves feel the consequences. Our job to not let them blame democrates. The timing of the horrible stuff is shortly after the mid-terms the ending of the " goodie bread crumbs" end when Trump leaves office. So we need to start talking about it now before democrates resume control.
What a gut wrenching thing to do. I hope they all have to face the people in their districts and explain how stupid and biased they are. They probably won't though, since they are such chickens and foul people. The people that I have told about this, have been saying, "oh, Judy, you are so wrong. tRump would never allow this to happen and that I am listening to the wrong stations." They are as stupid as this administration.

When Dems hold townhalls in the counties that their own representatives are too cowardly to show up, there should be a large mailbag, writing paper and pens for the attendees to write their (frustrations) questions, comments and demands to their no-show reps. Then the bag could be publicly delivered to them in the House or Senate.
The MAGAts have cleverly hidden the worst parts to kick in after the 2026 midterms. The Dems need to come out of their deep sleep and start letting the public know (and repeatedly) that the most odious and damaging parts about that cute trick that MAGA pulled.

Teri, I agree with you, but I do wonder about the implementation. I hope that they will do the smart thing and form a "government in waiting" as happens in the England. This will allow the to educate the voters not only about the MAGA bill and events (all negative) but also present some positive things about how they will lead and govern. It cannot just be pure hammer and whining; I think sweetness needs to be mixed in.
We have an obligation to do that as well. A few months before midterms, I will be talking about it to friends, neighbors, etc and posting on social media about the deception, in case people forgot.

Trump is smiling in the picture accompanying this article, although I can't remember seeing a full smile on him like that in the past. He's gleefully signing this horrific budget. He knows he delivered for all his uber-rich buddies at the expense of the most vulnerable.

If you want to educate and inform people about the real scope of the “Big Beautiful Bill” why not get some decent millionaires/celebrities to pay for billboards in every town in every state in the country? Highlight a different resolution every week. Take ads out in newspapers and magazines. Be relentless about getting the truth out there for everyone to see. Calling Congress just falls on deaf ears. Get the word out in every possible way you can. The truth matters.
