He doesn’t like to exercise in part because he thinks the body has a finite amount of energy that exercise depletes, and that exercise doesn’t improve your energy or health. Between that and the fast food diet, his beliefs are causing him significant health issues.

I have no idea what they would do. MAGA is essentially a political/personality cult centered around Trump, and I can’t really think of anyone who could get MAGA followers to rally around another leader. Vance doesn’t have the personality to carry it off, and despite his bootlicking Trump, I can’t see MAGA followers rallying around Vance the way they do Trump. Trump is unique in that he has a rather perverse charisma which attracts his followers to him, and he is a consummate demagogue. Even when Vance repeats Trump’s nasty lies or if Vance tells his own lies, he doesn’t come across with the same demagogic appeal Trump does.
