Sweet couldn't have happened to a better person. To bad they never went after Tuberville for being a senator for Alabama when he legally lives in FL

RFK Jr. is a danger to our children. Hope he gets charged with voter fraud and anti science misinformation. Please remember to get your Covid boosters and flu shots to stay safe and healthy: https://democracydefender2025.substack.com/p/rfk-jr-anti-science-anti-vaxxer

It is the Republicans in Alabama that allow a Carpet Bagger to be Senator. I voted against the P0S.

This is infuriating. Was he charged? In Tennessee, a woman who had served her time in jail, was told by her probation officer that she was eligible to vote. She ATTEMPTED to register, was charged, convicted and sentenced to 5 years in prison. He VOTED illegally, she TRIED TO REGISTER.

Having listened to Hegseth denying everything that was said against him, I doubt this about RFK Jr. will make any difference to the Rs. He is a dangerous man as is Hegseth but these fools will no doubt approve their confirmation.

Hegseth today said every single accusation about him that it was a lie, it was anoynmous, etc. etc. This was even for the named accusations from his ex Faux news co-workers.

We are so screwed.

Absolutely! The lies, the criminal acts…the corruption, all will be ignored and Trump’s nominees will be confirmed. For the ultra-wealthy and for Trump’s circle of thugs, there is no rule of law, and yes, we are screwed.

I doubt even a charge of voter fraud will stop even a single republican senator from voting to confirm this drug-addled, worm-brain. And FTR, Mark Meadows committed the same kind of voter fraud in 2020, and not a damned thing happened to him.

STOP TRUMP URGENT REPOST MAKE VIRAL … REPOST

Colorado Courts rule Trump a INSURRECTIONIST • Constitution bars insurrectionists from any office • SCOTUS is definitely NOT a higher authority and cannot usurp Constitutional power • INSURRECTIONIST Trump therefore barred from office

* Ultimate power of Constitution denies Trump to hold any office, it’s illegal to swear him in… a mockery of our Constitution!

Six days to make viral! Your country begs for help, input, suggestions, action! Send/repost to 10 plus like-minded - - - implore them to send 10+. You will make a big difference, please DO IT!

Please provide a link to the CO court order. If you're talking about the case from last year, the CO court was overruled by SCOTUS.

You’re correct of course, and our only option at this point is to plan and implement resistance to Trump’s fascist agenda.

Jane, Thanks for commenting. SCOTUS ruled on the sole question as to whether Colorado could remove Trump’s name from their presidential ballot. SCOTUS decided against Colorado and Trump’s name was indeed on their ballot.

SCOTUS did not counter Colorado’s declaration that Trump is an insurrectionist but, by skullduggery, said only Congress could remove Trump under Sec 3 Article 14. Too bad for America!!

Expand full comment
Jane in NC's avatar

You're correct, but in ruling he couldn't be removed from the CO ballot for president, the court in essence said Trump hadn't been legally found to be an insurrectionist. I'm as infuriated by that ruling as I am that Trump's federal criminal trial on J6th was dismissed. But, as things stand right now, he's elected again and will take office on January 20th. We need to face that reality, and do our best to save our country from him and his cult. That starts by winning elections this year and retaking the house and senate in the mid-terms. While I share your frustration, we need to put our energy to fighting battles we can win. Starting this year.

I think the problem with the Meadows case here was that then AG Stein needed cooperation from the AGs in Virginia & S. Carolina but since those two are both Republicans… Well birds of a feather 🪶.
