if you read what the organizers are writing, it is not a day of protest. It is a day of community giving which we do anyway in my community every day in someway I live in rural community. The protest is being scheduled for the 17th probably because that is when Gay marriage was first allowed, however, a lot of people can’t just give up time at work without losing their job . if you read what the organizers are writing, it is not a day of protest. It is a day of community giving which we do anyway in my community every day in someway I live in rural community. The protest is being scheduled for the 17th probably because that is when Gay marriage was first allowed, however, a lot of people can’t just give up time at work without losing their job .
