Rogan Fans Have Meltdown Over Meidas Getting More Views

Joe Rogan fans are really in their feelings after learning that MeidasTouch is beating their hero in video podcast views. They’re accusing us of cherry-picking stats and misrepresenting numbers. I could show you thousands of messages we’ve received from Rogan fans, but I’ll just share one example below.
Here’s the thing: all we reported on was the Adweek study, which relied on independent data from a company called Tubular Labs for video podcast views. We’re not affiliated with Adweek or the research group that performed the study. We’re not saying Rogan doesn’t pull impressive numbers. We’re simply reading the chart Adweek published, which shows more people watched Meidas video podcasts than Rogan’s.
It’s odd that this is so triggering to Rogan fans. No one doubts Rogan’s influence or reach—or that his clips get played on corporate media. He’s been around for over a decade longer than us. It’s just strange that presenting his fans with data feels like an insult to him, or that they dismiss the data as “fake.” I don’t get it.
Anyway, we don’t have a fancy podcast deal like Rogan does, paying hundreds of millions of dollars a year. I record using my 2017 laptop and a $250 microphone.

It all comes down to their insecurity.
Their refusal to accept facts, their Incel status, their online bullying.
