On today’s episode of Uncovered, we did a deep dive into Trump’s schizophrenic tariff mania with all the behind the scenes infighting going on between Howard Lutnick, Peter Navarro, Scott Bessent, Elon Musk and others. I also talked about why this is a long ways from being over, and how ridiculous it was for Trump’s minions to claim this was part of his master plan.

We talked about the implications of a serious and escalating trade war with China, and the reasons why they are in a much better position to win that kind of a battle than we are right now. I also talked about how, bizarrely, the only two truth tellers in the Republican Party on this whole sordid tariff affair have been Senators John Kennedy and Rand Paul.

We also talked about the divisions between people in the Trump Admin like JD Vance, Pete Hegseth and Musk who want to pull US troops out of Europe versus Republicans in Congress and generals at the Pentagon who are adamantly opposed to that idea.

I talked about the latest episode in Kristi Noem’s ridiculous narcissistic cosplay world travels and adventures, and why MAGA has finally had enough of her and even they think she is absurd.

I talked about the nasty Republican US Senate primary in Texas that has just erupted between Sen. John Cornyn and AG Ken Paxton, why that is going to do tremendous damage to both of them, and why a Paxton win in that primary to open the door to Colin Allred winning that senate seat in the general election.

We talked about the military parade that Trump is planning for his birthday in DC on June 14.
