This situation make me very worried, as an Afghan veteran we see again big powers playing with war and deals but normal people always suffer. I feel like nobody really care about people who already lost everything in past conflicts.

What our government did to you and so many others is so painful and shameful. I can only hope there will be a way to somehow make some amends. The sad truth is almost all governments are more than willing to use ordinary people as cannon fodder and---despite our protestations on holidays like Memorial Day---then throw them away. So not only do the powers-that-be forget about our allies (and certainly don't consider noncombatants of any stripe) but they also forget about their own "warriors." Some way we "ordinary" people need to find our shared values and throw the bums out.

As an Afghan veteran, I stood shoulder to shoulder with U.S. Special Forces in Afghanistan for twenty years. But today, I don’t even hear a single word in Washington about Afghan allies. On the contrary, they have suspended all of our legal immigration cases. As an Afghan veteran left behind, I must say that I will continue to seek justice.
Personally I have been very ashamed of the way the Afghan allies were and have been treated. No loyalty , no integrity with these traitors in the 'administration'.

Europe knows how to protest. Millions turn up in masses. There has only been 3 No Kings and it is not nearly enough. It should be daily or weekly. Americans are too lazy to protest because they don't want to leave their Facebook for a day or whatever social media they're in to. Now the Vietnam protests were awesome and I wish it could be more like that. The protests from the 60's and 70's is what I would like to see. So yeah, I am paying attention.

Combine that with the fact he's building a fortified bunker along with accumulating and maintaining his own private paramilitary force. At least twice he's floated the idea of being president for life.
