WTF America?! is fantastic. I have the audiobook, but will order a hard copy or two so I can share it with friends and family. You have created an ethical and necessary alternative to corporate media. I appreciate your North Star that the truth is golden. In an environment of obfuscators and liars, it is a calming and refreshing presence that makes me feel sane with my own thoughts about what I am seeing happening in our amazing country. It provides hope and optimism that we can turn this around.
Very happy to report that I went to vote on Thursday and my polling place was busier than I’d ever seen. I’m in a deep blue district, but I’m thrilled to see the engagement. Well done voters!
FOR MRE, news has never been "watched." I worked in ABC National News for the Hearing-Impaired in the 1970s and saw then how little actual information was conveyed. Have almost never had a TV, now 73 and only on non -corporate news. In the work in the 1970s, a tornado or plane crash was "good news" because there was something to look at. Economic reports were a graph superimposed over a farmer on a tractor. Watergate stories were only given to the most experienced editors because it was all words and ideas and no visuals really (Court drawings). The best TV news is radio.
