"Extinction Level Event Headed Straight for Earth"

Our Psychological and Political Pandemic DR. BANDY X. LEE

🔸️Mental pathology in a president is a public matter. The more severe the mental pathology the less one will recognize that one is even ill.

🔸️Every other job that deals with life or death has a mental fitness evaluation as a requirement, even before one takes the position.

🔸️Without mental fitness evaluations, the public needs to know the danger of certified madness in politics. When dangerous mental pathologies are allowed to spread like a pandemic, an Extinction Level Event is headed straight for Earth. The U.S. could be a shining example of how to stop dangerous mental pathologies before they worm their way into politics but it is now left with "emergency cleanup on aisle madness'.

Makes sense however, we are long past knowing this fake president is anything but well. I think it was known before he was elected, or stole the election. I hope there is a back up plan for emergency clean up, although I doubt it. There is only a few options to stop him and the others that hold the same pathology now holding important offices.

I agree. His madness is affecting all of us, except perhaps those that already duplicate his particular madness

That may be true but I think the main event here is that tariffs are being used as an extraction tool for the Great Negotiator. Those who do his bidding - and we haven't got access to what is demanded to lower tariffs (a cut of the $ for sure or land deals?). With our Deer Leader getting his way at any cost seems to be the prime motive.

The comments here are insultingly juvenile cheerleading for saying things we already knew. We don't need our leaders to talk, we need action. Not committing genocide in order to get oil shouldn't even be an argument. I have seen nothing at all to show me the Democrats actually have what it takes for real change, let alone the ability to stop a fascist takeover.

Corey Booker - where is your moral line-??? I ditto this man's response re approving sending more arms to Israel to eliminate more Palestinian civilians including woman & targeting children (bombing pkaygrounds-??!!WTF?). I have NO respect for ANY Senator who voted FOR this decision. ZILCH ZERO. NADA. ZIP.

Chris McDenny's avatar

Your moral line is clearly drawn and I feel that is most important. It's such a tragedy that one little country of 9 million can bring the USA to abandon it's moral ideals and call anyone who opposes a total war with civilians as acceptable casualties for bombing or shooting. And people who speak up are deported or labeled something they are not.

That breaks my heart about him. I was going to promote him to run for POTUS. So he voted with the woosey GOP? That’s horrible!

It is heart breaking. So many Dems have to go along with TOTAL WAR to avoid AIPAC funding a more pro-bombing candidate who will take their extreme position. No level of violence, land seizure and coverups are too high to keep the proponents of WAR from waging it and Cory Booker is just another casualty of their power and money.

I have said from day 1, that Cory Booker and Hakeem Jefferies should be the next presidential ticket for the Democrats. They together have the intelligence charisma and dedication. Lead the Democratic Party for the next 16 years and truly make America the shining star on the hill. Trump has no business being in the White House.; because when you let a jackass in the house, you have a mess to clean up and his administration is the mess that needs to be cleaned up. now the people know the truth about Trump. He only cares about himself nobody else or nothing else but money and his ego inflation while Americans are feeling the pinch of every day living Trump wants to have a military parade on his birthday to fill his ego and could care less that this is going to cost the American taxpayers millions of dollars God help America and lead us out of this mess

I wouldn’t want either of them on the ticket. Hakeem doesn’t fight like Mitch McConnell did when McConnell was in the minority. And Booker supports the genocide of the Palestinians

I have two U.S. Senators here in NJ that represent me, Senators Kim and Booker. I write them all the time concerning our funding of the genocide of the Palestinian people. Booker can never be bothered to even write me back. All that AIPAC money makes a very heavy pen.

Bob, I am glad you see an alternative future and are happy about it. I don't think ANY Senator who voted for continued bombing of civilians and seizure of their land will excite most Democrats or people with a moral commitment to human rights. I'm betting on one of the DEM governors who showed leadership and didn't get tangled up in this Middle East horrow show - they will find an alternative path and start without a huge moral blemish on their record.

I don’t think we should be funding Netanyahu, because he is Israel’s version of Trump. But I am not a single issue voter and I am in awe of your filibuster and support your willingness to speak out against this corrupt regime. Thank you Mr Booker!

Not murdering tens of thousands of children shouldn't be considered a "single issue." The bar shouldn't be that low. Other than say things we already knew, what exactly are Democrats doing? What did they do the past 4 years to stop the fascists from taking over?

Expand full comment
Chris McDenny's avatar

You seem to put all the blame on Democrats for choices voters made. I'm wondering if that's the whole story? Some 8 Million Democrats that voted in the Biden/Trump race didn't come to the polls in 2024. So maybe those "part-time Democrats" would have to be among those most responsible for not putting any limits on the Great War against Gaza nor taking sufficient measures to ensure civilians were protected (and fed). I have to say that American voters put these extremists in power primarly GOP and No Party voters - and first and foremost, I see them as enablers and complicit in violence and disregard for law and order, as well as human rights. The wishy washy Democrats should decide where they stand on important issues and get off the couch.

Ian Thomas's avatar

You've got to be kidding me. People don't come out to vote for three reasons (all of which are the Democrats fault); they aren't educated on the issues; the Democrats won't champion them with things like min wage increase, union protections, universal healthcare, etc.; and they CAN'T because of massive voter suppression and election interference that Democrats could EASILY have fixed between 2020 and 2022.

They set up the pins for the fascists, buffed their ball, held everyone back to give them room to bowl, and now you're telling me they had no part in the strike? If Democrats can't (won't) do crap when they have a TRIFECTA, then why in the hell are we voting for them? It's not that they don't know the solutions, it's that they don't want to do them.

85% take corporate money, including AIPAC. They also vote for more bombs for Israel in direct violation of our OWN LAWS. They also won't tax the rich, because they ARE the rich. They're all multimillionaires. They truly, truly, do not care.

Cory Booker's speech has really motivated and inspired all these people to go out and take a stand against Trump's dictating and tariff madness. Still if it only had been like this before during that 2024 election, they all would've voted for KAMALA HARRIS instead and she would be our first madam president right now and running this country the RIGHT WAY!!!
