I don’t normally trust Cohen much,(or anyone who was a former employee of trump.) but he’s 100% right on this.

I don't see him as untrustworthy, but I do see where he has major a blindspot like Trump's victimization of women.

Trump used to know who to show himself to and I think he knew Cohen as a family man. Of course he didn't go full letch in front of him, but he played victim and asked for Cohen's protection instead. Once Cohen sees that part clearly, he will hopefully be all out.

Yes! Stand up. Speak up. Make good trouble. Resistance is the way 💪

Texans NEED to understand that Republicans want to attempt extreme gerrymandering there because it’s one of the places their regime thinks voters are dumb enough to buy the fascism they’re selling. Without Texan voters, the GOP loses the house so they have to cheat to win. They are cheating because they can’t win on the merits: they’re driving prices up, jobs down and hurting everyday people. They are showing their true colors using strong-arm tactics to silence critics and push through their partisan agenda, no matter the cost to democracy.

We the People have other sane or reasonable choice. We are beyond protest. Stand up!

Just got my t-shirt which reads "We the People" are PISSED OFF! This one 👇

https://libtees.dashery.com/products/76978001-we-the-people-are-pissed-off-t-shirt

That's how I feel now. This pissed off feeling that doesn't go away is what's going to power "We The People" to save our democracy

I applaud Texas Democrats’ courage and conviction for doing everything possible to stop Trump MAGA GOP.

The protests are far to small and fragmaented.........4-5 million people need to be out there all the time..........a buisness shutdown for at least a week!!!

Democrates have sold their souls to IPAC and tow the like like Moses Mile!!!

Exactly! It is telling that the MAGAs will protest over anything, even against the truth and the facts. But those who identify as Democrats don't have the will or the passion to do the same. Look at Jan 6 for example. Yet, there were no Democrats out there counter protesting on the side of truth and facts. Since Trump has again been elected and is in the mist of destroying our Republic, where are the constant mass protests by Democrats? We are following the lead of our politicians who refuse to stand up and fight with the same passion that the MAGAs are fighting with to take total control of the country.

Somehow the democrats think their “strongly worded letters” matter. They don’t. When Colbert asked Kamala Harris who the leader of the Democratic Party is, she danced around and named no names. There is none. And she feels it’s so broken, she doesn’t want to play. I don’t blame her

I'm going to bring a sludge hammer to his knife fight. Our voices together with our commitment to our country should knock them over the head. Let's give them one HELL of a headache with our protests and calls and letters. My last poster at a rally was Trump is protecting Pedophile Maxwell. And...he is.

Seriously Michael? Illinois is way ahead of this. Pritzker is housing them at one of his family hotels and has stated that Illinois will redistrict following Governor Newsom’s lead. The Governor of New York has also joined in. These three states together would topple all the red states combined. The gloves are off!!

Yes…seriously. Why wait for another Governor to take the lead. Just do it. Do it the same way Texas Governor Abbott is doing it. You don’t wait to get hit in a fight. You go on the offense.

Another Pennsylvanian here. Part of the virtue of being so closely divided is that neither side can do too much awful stuff. They all know they could be on the other side soon. As long as we keep electing Democratic governors!👹

California could carve up all 9 Republican districts. That's 4 more than Texas. Throw in IL and NY and Dems will have an advantage in 2026. We already have an advantage because their horrible acts and gutting of the government and social programs are so heinous nobody is happy with it except sadists and masochists. Watch them backpedal. Tit for Tat, the dumb jerks. If the Done Gone w/the Wind Old Party followed the Golden Rule we would not be up against the Wall.

Except, we need to use a flamethrower!! No more "going high" when they go low. In fact, we need to start one-upping them and stop being reactive as opposed to proactive. We already know their game, so why wait until they do something before we make a move? We knew that they were somehow going to try to rig the 2024 election as they did in 2020, yet we did nothing. Yes, I am convinced that they successfully stole the 2024 election somehow.

If this is what they're doing right in front of us, imagine what they're doing in their think tanks. I really think the in-your-face is so we'll be focused on that rather than potentially rigged voting machines (which I keep reading about from 2024, with a slew of right-wing billionaires chaging computer code to alter votes). All the gerrymandering (let's hope Newsome and Pritzger lead the charge in blue states so show them how it feels) isn't going to matter if they rig the vote. Nothing is sacred anymore, and Trump has never achieved anything without cheating, paying someone off, eliminating the competition with bribes or all of the above.

Ben, I believe you're absolutely right (Cohen too) on this -- I restacked and posted on Facebook, but I feel so frustrated because so many of us have been saying this even before the election. And people respond as if we're Chicken Little yelling that the sky is falling when it's not. SIGH. Thx for your work. I will keep sighing, and keep fighting. It is especially hard for those of us who are expats -- our right to donate has basically been taken away because the GOP put pressure on ActBlue, and now even US citizens traveling abroad can't donate through ActBlue while abroad. I tried contacting various Dems, and got no response, disappointing because I even contacted politicians like AOC -- so now my money goes to you and others fighting the good fight through alternative media. We also know they want to come after our right to vote. Friends who are teachers on military bases are terrified they'll be "sent home" to a country that hasn't been home for decades, with children who've never lived in the US. We are active and doing what we can from here. Stay strong!

I'm a fan Michael! Have been since you first began podcasting and sharing your truth. This is a great article (granted I read the second half because ADHD...). Playing fair isn't smart right now, even if it's how I normally operate.

I'm so tired of people taking from Americans and Trump is the bottomless need taker of the century. I'm sorry for what he took from you, but I hope you will be able to let go of any feeling of knowing who he is or is perceived friendship. As a man with deep disorders he knew what to show you because of who you are and where you drew lines.

The fact that he didn't show you his victimization of women is a compliment to you! Remember that and give him no quarter.

Keep speaking on this matter of playing fair. Or I should be plain - we need to use the rules of Power against him. I hate it, but I also despise everything he stands for. Let's get after it!!!!
