Sunday Message from Ben
By Ben Meiselas
Hi Meidas Mighty. It’s Ben Meiselas, co-founder of MeidasTouch, here with my favorite post of the week. This is my Sunday message, where we get to reflect on the events of this week over a cup of coffee. I have a large black coffee in hand right now, and I’m ready to go. As a reminder, please make sure to subscribe to this Substack now if you haven’t already subscribed.
If you were expecting a slow news cycle for the holiday, you were mistaken. By the way, that would have been a very bad bet to take with the maniac running this country into the ground right now.
The biggest story this week was once again Trump covering up the largest child sex trafficking ring in world history. It’s not just what he’s covering up. It’s also how he’s covering it up. The cover-up is so obvious it’s not even necessarily a cover-up at this point. It’s more of a flagrant admission of complicity and support for unthinkable atrocities committed against little children, which Trump again called a “hoax” and a “witch hunt” at the end of the week. The MeidasTouch Network broke the biggest stories of the week on the Epstein cover-up, including the regime hiding 1.2 million records it was forced to confess to after our reporting.
The Trump regime also tried to convince the American people it bombed Nigeria to attack ISIS groups who were killing Christians. Although an ISIS-backed group exists in Nigeria, there is no evidence of specific attacks against Christians more than Muslims or other groups. The real motive of Trump’s attacks on Nigeria appears to be driven by a desire to seize massive oil and lithium deposits. The Trump regime seems to be working with opposition leaders in Nigeria, led by Christians, to topple the ruling government led by Muslims as a quid pro quo to deliver oil and lithium for Trump to personally profit, along with his right-wing oligarchs. The ruling government has made deals with China around its resources, and the strikes are most likely part of a campaign to disrupt that relationship. The villagers in the Nigerian town of Jabo have no clue why their village was hit. Do not let this distract you from the Epstein files, but also do not let the propaganda prevent an actual understanding of what took place.
Today there is an important meeting in Florida between Ukrainian President Zelenskyy and Donald Trump. Zelenskyy was in Halifax yesterday to meet with Canada’s Prime Minister, Mark Carney, who pledged $2.5 billion to help Ukraine. A meeting was also held between Ukraine and its true allies in Europe and Canada to prepare for the meeting with the hostile Trump regime. Zelenskyy and the Europeans are now putting forward a 20-point peace plan that has called Trump and Putin’s bluff by agreeing to potential territorial concessions in eastern Ukrainian territory, provided there is a 60–90 day ceasefire agreed to by Russia and a free and fair election for a referendum so the people in the eastern Ukrainian territories can vote and choose if they want to be part of Ukraine. This plan has pissed Trump off since Trump just wants to hand the territory to Russia. Meanwhile, Russia responded by unleashing one of its most horrific strikes yet, using drones and ballistic missiles on Kyiv, knocking out power in the cold of winter. Zelenskyy knows that Putin and Trump have no real interest in peace. Zelenskyy’s audience is to show the American people and the world what’s really happening.
Finally, I ran a full report yesterday on Trump’s email scams, which I compared to well-known email scams targeting elderly people. In many of these Trump emails, a person receiving the message may think they are getting a gift, winning a prize, or receiving something from Trump, but after clicking a few boxes, the target may end up giving Trump thousands of dollars on a recurring basis without even realizing it. I know there are a lot of other things going on with this regime that need solid reporting on — which I, of course, still do — but I thought it was important to use my background as a litigator to share my opinion on why I believe Trump’s emails are a form of elder abuse.
Some good news about MeidasTouch before I wrap up. We finished this year continuing to beat Joe Rogan and all right-wing podcasts in downloads. On video, we continue to lead Fox and all cable and corporate news in video views and engagement. This is thanks to all of you. This Substack community has been the biggest help in allowing the MeidasTouch Network to not just lead all independent news, but to get more views and have a larger audience share than all cable and corporate news, despite them having unlimited funding.
Before I go, I want to thank you all for having a cup of coffee with me this morning, or whatever you drank. Thanks for all you do for this country and for the MeidasTouch Network. Thanks to all of the subscribers here. For all those who haven’t subscribed, your subscription would make a huge difference, so please subscribe now if you can.
Thanks so much, everyone! I enjoyed my cup of coffee with you this morning.

Right now, it is so important to focus on fighting the regime then fighting with each other. As the old saying goes, keep your eye on the prize. Thank you, Ben, Brett, and Jordy and all of the contributing members of the MeidasTouch network. Solidarity everyone!!!!!💙💙💙💙💙
Thanks for the update Ben. As Trump spreads his madness further afield now bombing Nigeria, World leaders need to step up and use whatever tools they have to circumscribe the orange menace and in so doing neutralize him. Trade sanctions and an embargo should bring the orange tyrant to his knees - or at least force republicans to curtail mad king trump.
