I’m in the UK but I know the fight isn’t limited to the US. I’m with you. Keep up the great work.

Janie's avatar

Thank you. Our family just visited the UK for the first time and we appreciate your support. It means so much to us!

Thank you MTN! Let us keep it going and growing. We went tou local protest in Greensburg, PA. I hope all small towns across America join with the big cities to rally against Trump!

Barbara Porter's avatar

Thank you for your support. We appreciate it.

Very appreciated and gratifying to know we People to People support and encouragement from those countries that this present regime has alienated.

I read through the list of resistance events of US ExPats in other countries - joined and cheered on by locals; very touching and inspiring! (Democrats Abroad - www.democratsabroad.org).

Thank you it’s great to have allies another countries!

my Girlfriend is from the UK, Cheshire! She just became a Yank last November. She's scared to protest due to being a newly citizen! Hard to understand we have a right to protest peacefully! Is dumping rotted not picked in time produce upwind and beachside to Donald ok? They did broccoli to former President Bush? Rotted not processed potatoes good?

Cynthia Walsh's avatar

Keep up the coverage! It’s great to see so many standing up against bad government stay strong!

The four corners of my downtown were mobbed. The crowd was electrified and the traffic beeped horns, gave us thumbs up, and shouted in support from their cars. City bus drivers and postal workers honked in support as they passed by. All in the cold and rain. I was there my daughter. Many, many age groups! Children and elderly alike. Some people came in wheelchairs. This is what democracy looks like!

Danita Hamilton's avatar

Yes everybody came out yesterday was a great day 💯💪💯💪

Pam Abernathy's avatar

Our demonstration in Thousand Oaks, CA, was very similar! Biggest difference is that we are going into a heat wave. Yesterday was the 1st day. Around 80°. I had my sunhat with the wide brim & fabric down the back. Lots of sunscreen. And used my iridescent purple cane to wave high in the air! We hadn't made signs. My arm is sore today! I guess 40 minutes of waving my cane high in the air was a workout! Because of how we arrange protests in our area, at major intersections & with a line of protestors along the adjacent streets, it is much easier to come & go.

Blessings.

Here in Jacksonville Florida It Was 91 but people still came out in walkers and wheelchairs. We the people don’t want this

Dingo Dave's avatar

LOL It was 29 degrees here in N Denver, when I hopped into my Jeep, which I took the doors and top off LAST week when it was 60!

So needless to say, It was COLD... But I travelled over 100 miles yesterday to go to BOTH the Longmont AND Greeley Colorado protests..

I was NOT disappointed... See my substack for video!!

AAA M's avatar

YOU ARE MY HERO. mwahhhh!

Danita Hamilton's avatar

Wow but people still came out we Americans rock 💪👍💯

Lyn's avatar

It is ironic that so many Americans seemed to be anti Union and don't understand how powerful it is to work collectively for our rights in the workplace but this weekend the very union of people across parties to fight for the democracy is exactly how Unions in the workplace feel. Lawful protests are a galvanising way to express the popular feelings.

Enjoy and embrace the support of each other.

Thank you for the coverage. I was unable physically to attend but I want to thank everyone who did. Thank you for standing up for our country. 💙🇺🇸💙🇺🇸

C Giza's avatar

I was not able to physically attend either but I put some of the Hands Off signs in my front window in solidarity.

Perhaps those people who are afraid will gain the courage to join in as the protests around the country and world gain momentum.

Sherry McCafferty's avatar

I am unable to put a political sign in my window because we live in a community park that has rules about that. But I can go online and spread the word.

Pam Abernathy's avatar

Amen. That is mostly what I do! I was only able to participate yesterday because my 19 year old (honorary) grandson wanted very much to join me.

Wonderful large crowd in Thousand Oaks, CA. Our protests tend to be on the sidewalks at & near busy intersection. Makes it easy for us to join for as long as we can (I lasted about 40 minutes, then rested in my car while Mark went back into the mall to browse. His comment was that everything was as too expensive!)

Blessings.

Bèi sī's avatar

Idk if you're allowed to do this, but I saw the suggestion someplace: If you use a sunblocker in your windshield when the car is parked, put signs on it so you're protesting everywhere 🪧

Margaret's avatar

We stood up for YOU, Sherry! And it was awesome!!!!

Sherry McCafferty's avatar

Thank you. You all are awesome! ❤️

Gillian Collins's avatar

If ur able to drive or can have someone drive for u, jus driving and honking is great ,a waving sign u made too…

AAA M's avatar

I'm physically unable to attend also and being in an apartment building cannot even put a sign in the window but I manage to keep up with the news on Meidas and it gives me hope. Thank you everyone for all you do.

Sharon C Storm's avatar

I’m in similar circumstances, but I’m hoping to get a mobility scooter so I can participate this summer. A friend has volunteered to transport me and my scooter to wherever I want to go.

AAA M's avatar

That's what friends are for. You're blessed. My only TRUE friend is gone now. All of them are gone. It's so sad. I enjoy life now by sharing thoughts and ideas with Meidas and all you wonderful people. Stay healthy and live long and happy.

Sharon C Storm's avatar

I’m so sorry you lost your friend, but glad that you are here.

AAA M's avatar

I'm happy that you're here too.

The Scarlett Patriot's avatar

This jerk sent me a DM calling me a fucking asshole. I have the screenshot to prove it. Seems he knows exactly how to belittle people in private but has no guts to say it in public.

Scott Bump's avatar

I'm wondering if folks like him get paid for every response they get! Bashers / Critics on stock.forums make 5 to 7 dollars paid by hedge funds! I can picture Elon paying to intimidate and antagonize!! Oh yeah!

AAA M's avatar

Pete YOU SUCK!!!!!!

Steve Raymond's avatar

Sorry that your education was so poor that you don't even know neighborhood is one word. If the word 'fuck' upsets you more than the words Trump and Musk, then you obviously don't understand what pathetic really means.

Kalehua Andres's avatar

i want to post a photo with a participant is holding a sign which reads

Things are so bad even the INTROVERTS are here

⬇️

Suzy Anand Garfinkle's avatar

I saw two of those in Brooksville, FL (named for a vile enslaver) In both cases, I initiated a conversation saying, "thank you for being willing to be outside your comfort zone." One turned out to be the mother of a now homeschooling trans son. She said, "how could I not force myself to get out here to defend his rights?"

C Giza's avatar

Great sentiment!

One of my friends said her sister was In the MN protest and saw a sign that read "SO MUCH WRONG SO LITTLE CARDBOARD!"

Barbara Porter's avatar

That’s a great sign. It is very funny but sadly true. There’s not enough cardboard in this country to list everything wrong with our current leaders running our government.

Kalehua Andres's avatar

that was in Hilo,Hawaii 4/5/25

bettievanoverbeke's avatar

We're you there? I drove by waving and honking. Wanted to attend but disability prevented .

Susie C.'s avatar

The waving and honking kept our spirits up in California, and I'm sure it did in Hilo, too! You DID attend! 👍

Catherine Voight's avatar

I LOVE this! That’s me too in Wisconsin!

Sally Devoe's avatar

I saw that sign online. Its brilliant ❤️🇨🇦

Brooke Jett's avatar

Thank you Meidas Touch for streaming the protests! As a federal contractor, we are not allowed to protest… so it was nice to stream it and watch it live! Thank you again!

Carla Robinson's avatar

It was great to see Republican/Independent/Democrats come together. United. We. Stand 💪🇺🇸❤️

Julie M Murray's avatar

wow! where did you see that?

Carla Robinson's avatar

Greensboro NC. 🇺🇸💪

Diana Kimball's avatar

Was very glad to see so many turn out in my area. No unruliness towards the crowd either!! More & more people are standing up as in large groups the fear of reprisals is dropping! Well done Spokane!!!

Be Revolutionary's avatar

I was very glad to see so many people there, too! And such a tiny "counter-protest". 🤣

Diana Kimball's avatar

They didn’t show any negatives on the news! 👍

Sheilawallace's avatar

You guys are the absolute BEST and continue to inspire all of us to take back our country! 💙

Greg's avatar

Amazing turnout yesterday for the Hands Off! protests! So glad Meidas covered them and showed the world that we are not going to tolerate our democracy being taken from us!!

Thank you to all that participated yesterday!!

Rusty (Woke/DEI Commenter)'s avatar

I think the best moment was when I shared with 2 of my sisters-in-law that I had attended the Buffalo rally wearing one of my late husband's shirts and his jacket because I was doing it to honor my veteran husband. My sister-in-law said that he would be proud of me. That made me cry. The fight is real and I won't stop.

turneycindy15@gmail.com's avatar

The resistance is everywhere! Even in my little rural red County, we had over 200 people! Thank you so much for all you do in keeping us informed!

These are the most important protests of all!
