Thank you. I have absolutely no kind words for Graham nor McConnell. They were both opportunists and obstructionists. May they not rest in peace.

Cardiac arrests for both? I was hoping for cancer with months of suffering. They both got off way too easy. 🤬

Couldn't agree more

Traitors

Hell is where they are all headed

May the house of cards fall, may our prayers be answered

One by one, they are all going to pay, all the gop, the Supreme Court 6, the house, the senate, all red Traitors

Karma is coming now

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

I've been thinking the same thing myself, Penny. They're dropping like flies.

Penny Thibeaux's avatar

Gosh, we have waited impatiently for this day to come

Hell bound.....may they burn in agony for all eternity, as ever single one of this administration, supreme court 6, the red senate, spineless pedophiles, the spineless house, lead by a hideous Johnson....

May they all realize what is actually going to happen to them

I am in celebration today

A traitor is dead

I sure hope you are correct!

Agree. During trump’s first campaign, Graham had nothing but extremely harsh (and honest) criticism against DJT. Graham “famously attacked Trump's rhetoric, calling him a "race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot on CNN.”

But “something” definitely changed Lindsey’s mind. Methinks Trump could have been threatening or blackmailing Graham. IMHO…

Or paid him off. And even if he was being threatened, the proper response of one of our leaders to threats is to report it to the authorities and announce it publicly, not cower. For blackmail, I would hope a true leader and patriot would do the same: come forward and report it. If you can't do that, resign immediately.

The South Carolina governor will appoint a successor. Nancy Mace wants it. IMHO this elevates the EPSTEIN issue:

AI Overview

Senator Lindsey Graham's involvement with Jeffrey Epstein stems from his role as the Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, where he managed related records and investigations before his death in July 2026.

Key details regarding their connection:

Investigations and Records: As a leader on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Graham oversaw congressional inquiries into the Justice Department's handling of Epstein and supported bipartisan pushes to subpoena unredacted flight logs and FBI records related to Epstein's estate.

Shifting Public Stances: Graham's messaging regarding the case evolved over time. In 2025, he initially echoed calls to move on from the Epstein case entirely. Shortly thereafter, he called for the release of all Epstein-related materials to ensure full transparency.

Campaign Contributions: Graham faced political pressure from Democratic opponents regarding campaign donations. Critics called for him to refund money from billionaire donors tied to Epstein, such as Leon Black.

Mass panic in the South Carolina GOP.

Can Dems flip it? https://scdp.org/2026-candidates/

Angie's avatar

Lindsey Graham doesn't deserve an OUNCE of respect. He was a traitor to this country, he did damage to the gay community in spite of being obviously gay himself, and he was a war mongering, hateful confederate piece of trash. May he rot.

Deborah Hunter's avatar

I've always thought Trump had dirt on Graham, as in little boy (minor) dirt from the past.

Merry's avatar

Agree, which I also expressed in my initial reply. I think deviant donny was blackmailing Lindsey.

Wendy B.'s avatar

Not an excuse for being a traitor. Resigning is also a possible option. Or revealing the blackmail material yourself.

D butterfly's avatar

IMO, and maybe blackmailing all the others who keep giving into tRump, including some SCOTUS members & representatives on both sides of the aisle. Remember FFOTUS has access to every single piece of data inFBI, CIA, etc. files.

Thank you for another great piece! I have to point out though that the White House has a sophisticated medical unit, so if Trump is going to Walter Reed, it's not for a cognitive test, a piece of paper they could download off the internet and hand to him. He's going for something they don't have in the WH, like an MRI.

Old Uncle Dave's avatar

Yep. What is this, his third "6 month checkup" this year? I think they are either monitoring his cognitive decline with MRIs or he's receiving infusions of an experimental dementia drug.

Dee Cee's avatar

trump's monthly annual checkup. LOL.

Boomer48's avatar

And with ALL the cognitive tests he's"aced" by now he's most likely memorized a majority of the problems to solve. By now his score is probably beyond 100%. Must be up to about 180% by now.

Is anybody really shocked that Trump is using Graham’s death to push the SAVE Act?

Seems to me this gives him one less vote in favor. Doesn’t matter what he does - it was dead in the Senate before Graham’s untimely death.

Rob Jonas's avatar

the name Lindsey Graham, means nothing to the Democrats. Even if every Rethug in the senate bows before t/rump and votes yeah on the SAVE act, it still won’t reach 60 votes to beat the filibuster. t/rump’s pandering the name of Mr Graham, is just another sign t/rump will engage in any lowdown, nasty behavior to get his way.

Sandra Trimble's avatar

Nothing like a corrupt felon president grifting off his sychopant’s death! Corrupt sychopant power grabbing Graham was licking corrupt Trump’s boots every last day!

It's really sad when the only way we can get rid of toxic politicians like McConnell and Graham, is for them to die, not be voted out like they should. As we've noticed in the hospital world, deaths seem to come in threes. McConnell may not be physically dead, but he'll never be back in the Senate. Now Graham. Who'll be number 3?????? My guess (and other fellow nurses at work) is that it is a possible pulmonary embolism. He was in Ukraine Friday. Dead on Saturday night. Rule out the usual heart attack/stroke at that age, and it can point to a blood clot so soon after travel, especially at his age. I'm betting on a conspiracy story from MAGA. He was poisoned, blah blah blah by the Ukrainians. They will come up with some nonsense. Guarantee it. And I love how Nancy Mace now wants his seat. Get out the popcorn for SC.

Gingbos's avatar

McConnell IS dead, or they would post proof that he isn't. Considering pretty much EVERYONE is walking around with state of the art video recording equipment on their person, it shouldn't be that difficult.

Candace's avatar

Agree. If McConnell was truly cognizant, you would think he would want to record a video reassuring people, thanking the ones who are concerned, etc. Instead we have silence. Doesn't add up, does it??

Gingbos's avatar

Republicans are not posting proof because they have none.

Carole137's avatar

I was thinking the same thing - pulmonary embolism.

Graham is a traitor

As soon as McCain passed, he went to kiss the ring, kiss the bloated asshole, not doing a thing,of positive consequences for the American people

Hell is where he is now.

I have no interest in listening to all the bullshit about hisife.

A traitor is on his marker

So easily forgotten

May all these horrible, horrible people who work for the diaper shit head, all drop dead, as suddenly as this asshole did.

No empathy for traitors. Never thought in my life I would ever feel that way about anyone.

Rump changed all of that.

It's pathetic

Belinda McFee Weaver's avatar

Just because a person dies, doesn't make them a saint. Graham went from loathing Donny to worshipping him. Graham and his voting record, his idolizing Donny, speak to what and who he was as a person. He's gone, I'm sure those who loved and respected him are in mourning, but not everyone loved nor respected him.

Carolyn Bates's avatar

Ben, I watch your show several times a day. You tell it like it is BUT one thing annoys me. Can you be a little less dramatic and saying Trump is panicking. We all know he is not, he is not capable of panic, all he does is retaliate. Anyway keep delivering the news that major channels are afraid to.

Pat Sevigny's avatar

I frequently e mailed lindsey graham [ i give him credit he never blocked me] but I asked him to find his conscience again. I told him his good friend John McCain was spinning in his grave w/ his blatant, blind, vicious support of t---p. Im sure John McCain was waiting for him.i do feel grahams family needs privacy & respect bc im sure they r very sad. But damn 71 and no explanation of cause of death.

Penny Thibeaux's avatar

He is a traitor to our country

He deserves nothing.

Hell is where he is for eternal torture, like he made sure he tortured us

He is a great disappointment after McCain passed away

That was a man of Valor,

He was fine listening to rump bash him

He became a horrible person willingly.

Don't forget what he wanted for Americans.
