ugh no, the entire reason the climate crisis has never been addressed is that the selfish vested interests WANT this last biologically diverse and critical realm to be destroyed for the profit motive, all life, including our own, be damned. We are already solely responsible for this 6th mass extinction event. The heating now of our oceans is already causing ecosystem breakdowns and the demise of whales and corals, for example. What a travesty! This is the only known, habitable, species-rich and amazing planet in the known universe. And we are vandalising and crushing it for a mere few years of mineral rights. Canada & the USA share a long history of helping each other. A long ago event is the Great Halifax Explosion. Boston heard the call for help & rushed firemen & medical personnel to Halifax. In appreciation for their help, to this very year, Boston is sent a beautiful Christmas tree to decorate for the Holiday season.
