Because they all have taxpayer funded healthcare, they don't care what it's like for the rest of us. Shameful gluttons for power and money. They make me sick!!!

Not true. Have to buy it. Have the same benefits as other federal workers. https://www.opm.gov/healthcare-insurance/flyers/health-insurance-overview.pdf

They're just assholes. Fear Trump.

When your "same benefits" come out of a huge salary - how is that "equal"?

Yes, these congressional amoebas are way overpaid for doing a lot of nothing and fake investigations to try and look like they are working. However, not all federal employees make a huge salary. Some studies even show they are paid less than private sector employees depending on the job. Since COLA increases are in the hands of Congress, as a former fed, I can tell you there were many years it was 0. I believe in felped47's first term 3 years were at 0 COLAs for all feds.

But like the entity on Star Trek that fed on the anger between the crew and Klingons, the tramp thrives on fear. It's what gets him off. I have no doubt that he salivated over the fear he caused in the young girls and women he's abused. It's how he got where he is. Fear him, okay, as you would a rabid Rottweiler. But have a heavy club handy.

Even in the private sector individual employee insurance coverage is paid for through pre-tax earnings. Your spouse or children are not covered. Although coverage is available for them at an additional charge.

Sylvia, I’m with you. But I think we missed the window on “taking our country back”…they rented it out to lobbyists and left the rest of us with overdraft fees and insulin rations.

This isn’t governance, it’s performance art for billionaires. They put on a show while Big Oil, Pharma, and Wall Street divvy up the spoils behind the curtain. And we keep arguing over crumbs on the floor.

Deb nailed it though…these folks have gold-plated benefits and zero empathy. Daniel’s right too…technically they “buy” their plans. But when your salary is the size of a six-figure bribe, that ain’t exactly relatable.

We’re not just up against bad policy. We’re up against a culture of shamelessness. I’ve been mapping this whole mess in real time over on my end and anybody paying attention knows this isn’t new, but it’s escalating.

Stay sharp. Stay loud. Some of us are keeping receipts.

I knew this was bad but what you just published makes every Republican congress person an amoral non human! And I have a question for anyone to answer....If Mike Johnson got all that money, then WHY does the story go that he has not enough income to pay income taxes? I remember reading that he and his wife pay no income tax. It is all off shore isn't it???

...amoral non-human? That's an insult to non-humans. My feral cats have more morality than any Republican. There are ways to manipulate income so that it is not subject to income tax. A good tax person can tell you how to do it. For example, a person can distribute money in trust accounts for other people.

Cheeto’s Personal Needs Over National Defense

Snopes has validated what the NYT first reported in June and now validated by other reporting agencies(https://bit.ly/4lSlUmL) that Cheeto’s Defense Department secretly transferred almost $1B earmarked for renovation of nuclear Minuteman missile silos and decided to use it for upgrading Cheeto’s Qatar gift airplane This despite the fact that there are in production 2 Air Force One’s that would be sidelined Once out of office the Orange One would then have the gift airplane for his own personal use

So in essence Cheeto is having the American taxpayers pay for the renovation of his own personal plane while a national security project to upgrade our nuclear defense of the country is put on hold

Mark Epstein, brother to the now dead sex trafficker, was told by Jeffrey that after years of friendship with Cheeto that he was staying away from Cheeto because in his words Cheeto “was a crook” When criminals hang around with each other they each get to know what dirtbags they are The problem for the country the crook happens to be a salacious lowlife

I still believe it was about racism. Felped47 practices it openly and has done so for many years. Hence the reason for the cancellation of You're Fired (thank god), By voting for him, they could be open about their racism too yet wear it under the mantle of holier than thou faux profit Christianity.

The second reason was owning the libs, bad enough to cut off their noses to spite their faces.

Turning the Qatar plane into an AF one requires the installation of a number of special systems, some of which are classified. The taxpayers are going to foot the bill again for the removal of all of it.

But trump will get to keep the special systems because he’s trump. And it won’t be on display at a library, he’ll be showboating. I wonder if he will house the stolen classified documents at the “library”.

The poor, the needy, and children are being abused—by our government. In the streets we must protest outright crooks and the pedophiles until after their shooting us starts, until we go down or we oust tyrants. I made 54 protest signs, and will make many more to share.
