So, what no one is saying as far as I can see, is that this undoubtedly wasn't the first time this dirtbag accepted a bribe. The practiced ease of the transaction indicates it is something he's done many times.

Prove that he’s done it even ONCE ! If ANY of it was true, there would be FBI video PROOF , which the BIDEN ADMINISTRATION would have been happy to weaponize during the 2024 campaign ! Did you see it ? NO , bcs it doesn’t exist !

You just make up lies to satisfy your own hatred and to foment dissent which leads to violence , not bcs ANY of it is true . Prove what you claim ! Produce that real DOJ PROOF !

So , of course , YOU … of ALL PEOPLE … can prove every accusation, with facts and real information , that :

1) “this ( with no doubt !) was not the FIRST TIME.. “ Tell all the readers here what you KNOW !!!

2) “dirtbag “ … maybe you know something about being a dirtbag , but why would you smear Tom Holman , or ANYONE , like that ? No proof or facts ! You think ALL readers are just gonna take YOUR word just because it’s easier to sit on the sidelines and do NOTHING, than actually understand why illegals are being removed , and how much safer it makes ALL communities?

Homunculus Homan should be immediately removed for this kind of criminal activity. He’s a literal cartoon goon. There’s even a meme.

But this is just the kind of person the entire GOP Congress wants running the country. Engaging in criminal activity puts you high on the list in their eyes and if you can combine that with a high degree of cruelty, well you're in very very good standing. Just ask Maga Mike on his way out of church where I guess his preacher preached on how to do the opposite of everything Jesus said to do and still get to heaven.

The entire dump regime is full of criminals and unqualified scumbags. It’s a disgrace starting at the top and runs through the entire regime.

If a sense of shame were a requirement for employment in this regime, none of these gits would qualify. Good thing for them this regime demands no sense of shame as a requirement, second only to undying fealty to Trump (which is actually to Project 2025).

No shame allowed!

My initial reaction to Michael’s post…

Well, I’ll dare to say that a real life version of Don Vito Corleone or the reincarnation of Al Capone is alive and well. And I’ll also dare to say DJT would actually consider that a compliment.

And apparently I’m not the only one who’s had that thought…this article was actually written more than 6 months ago. The writing is on the wall and the world knows how to read mofiosa!

“Donald Trump is turning America into a mafia state The pattern is inescapable – with just one caveat: organised crime bosses occasionally display more honour”

Yes, but that's what the GOP Congress wants and admires. Their actions show that, and pretty much their words as they never condemn anything except at least Massie seems to say pedophilia is wrong and we should care more about the victims than the perps. But regardless of what MTG mouths, he's the only one

When I see men like Homan and Steve Miller and know they aren't virgins, it makes my skin crawl. (And it has nothing to do with the appearance they were born with and can't control -- it's hostility and arrogance that make them slimy.)

Just because a cop is tough on crime doesn’t mean he has to be cruel and abusive. That’s a character flaw in too many of the Trump-style enforcers. I actually think it’s a requirement of the job—hurt as many as u can, and if u can’t, starve them or make them sick because of filthy and inhumane imprisonment and lack of medical care. And be proud of it! Shitler’s version of the SS.

Of the entire GOP Congress. Except maybe Massie...still not convinced he actually cares about Epstein's victims...how can he care about them and still support what ICE does on a daily basis?

patti smith's avatar

I think most of trump's cabinet members are very limited in intelligence and skill, and the people being hired by ICE are those who have never been very successful at anything.Perhaps they were eclipsed by a smarter sibling and this is their chance to control another human, and make them suffer just because they finally have been given the opportunity. They seem to have no compassion or humanity-only satisfaction in their sudden, and unearned authority.

Wow. Far from the worst that has been done by this crew, and yet, that's also how important this is. Taking $50K in bribes in a sack in a parking lot is a *small* thing for this regime of criminality. I miss the days when political scandals had consequences.

Me too! I watch a lot of Perry Mason reruns and it's so nice to see when politicians and businessmen were worried about scandals! Today the Republican ones revel in it.

Even the detective-type shows I watch now, whether current or reruns from probably the '90s on, are always talking about "how we do things here," especially when dealing with people from other countries, whether immigrants or visitors. Law enforcement in the U.S. has never been perfect, and at times it has been pretty damned horrendous. However, until recently (say, from 2016 on, and a hundred times that since Jan. 20 of this year), it hasn't often been engaged in blatant criminality like this, and certainly not on a continuous basis and getting worse all the time, not to mention in broad daylight.
