SITUATION ROOM level panic! So obviously douchebag donny knows exactly how bad this SITUATION is. Even Boebert knows and has taken a public stand -

“Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) is reportedly "convinced" that there is a conspiracy to cover up files on sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.”

“U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert, a Colorado Republican, met with Trump administration officials in the White House situation room to discuss her decision to support a bill that would require the Justice Department to release all unclassified documents and communications related to Jeffrey Epstein and his sex trafficking operation.

“White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed Wednesday that the conversation took place as part of the administration’s efforts to get Boebert and at least one other Republican congresswoman to drop their backing of the measure and a related petition that would force a vote on the legislation.”

Again, if Trump had nothing to hide, why block this vote? I hope his MAGA base gets wind of this (Fox and such may not even report this meeting). I suspect the files will reveal more about Trump's businesses having been propped up by Russian money when he declared bankruptcy (how many times?) and will finally reveal to those supporters who think he is such a 'smart businessman' that he is nothing but a con artist and grifter.

NYT this morning. “The end to this government shutdown does not solve [the Republican] affordability problem,” said Amy Walter, the publisher and editor of the nonpartisan Cook Political Report. “A deal that included an extension of the subsidies would actually have helped.”

That vulnerability is clear in the actions of Republicans from states like New Jersey and Virginia, which elected Democratic governors by large margins in last week’s off-year elections.

Representatives Jen Kiggans of Virginia and Jeff Van Drew of New Jersey, two Republicans facing competitive races next year, recently sent a letter to Speaker Mike Johnson telling him that once the government was reopened, Republicans needed to “immediately turn our focus to the growing crisis of health care affordability and the looming expiration of the enhanced Affordable Care Act (A.C.A.) premium tax credits.”

In one 2011 email, Epstein told Maxwell that Trump had “spent hours at my house,” “knew about the girls,” and that Trump was “that dog that hasn’t barked.” Maxwell replied, “I have been thinking about that.”

NYT: "The committee’s staff redacted victims’ names and any identifying information from the emails. Because the full set of documents has not been released, it was not clear whether the emails had been excerpted from larger conversations that might have provided fuller context."

The Emails come from the Epstein estate, not DOJ or from court docs.

The House is back to vote on the funding package. Jeffries says he'll hold the line. May lead to further negotiations.

Hopefully it'll be Epstein time. The most recent revelations involve money laudering allegations.

Many Congressional Republicans privately admit Trump is nuts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNzVt7q0W5A

Men who dismissed her as the poorly treated ‘girlfriend’, just a woman. How better to achieve power….thru using men’s weaknesses to control ALL of them.

Such a great revenge scenario by a woman who was ignored, dismissed, snickered at and hoodwinked.

Maybe SHE finally decided to join in the abuse and use Epsteins and other famous men’s weaknesses to control them ALL.

After all she is still alive and looking at a pardon. 🤔

They will release the remaining purged files and declare Trump’s complete innocence. These people will be more than happy to testify about what is missing! The MAGA House of Cards is about to face a Category 5 Hurricane!

Definitely a reckoning is going to come. Unless, the WH pressures two of their own to withdraw their names before she is sworn in. When the Democrats win back the House and Senate, they need to amend this law of someone needing to wait to be sworn in by the Speaker of the House. It needs to be an automatic event once results of an election are confirmed. No formal ceremony required. And the winning candidate ought to choose whoever they want to ceremonially "swear them in," including anyone from their own Party. Automatic office assignment, equipment, staffing, funding, and voting rights, should immediately begin the very day after elections. Any delays should be automatically tacked on to their Service in the House. By my calculation, she's owed 41 days, as are the constituents that democratically elected her. Fabulous article, Michael, reads so sweet today. ❤️
