And at the end of a brother's podcast, I wait for the "Shout out to the Meidas Mighty!" and I shout out to the Meidas Mighty. I can face a new year with terrifying unknowns (and knowns) with a new found determination to fight back. Thank you for that.

When you look at protests you look at the silver haired and white haired (and no hair!) protestors. We got this people, we can do this.
It is great to have youthful people like the Meiseles brothers step up, I don't have quite the energy to lead any more but I certainly have enough energy to follow and do my share of protesting. 2025 BRING IT ON!

Hate has been gathering strength in the Republican Party at least since the mid-1960s. It became blatant with the Reagan administration and continued to gather strength in the decades that followed. Too many people weren't paying enough attention, often because they were doing OK even if others weren't. They finally began to wake up when Trump was elected the first time. In other words, hate had a big head start, and hate is rolling in money. Kamala Harris and Tim Walz did a *great* job against serious odds. Chalk that up to the power of love, especially love of country.

And that was fifty years ago! W all the instant info disinforming online free “news” multitudes of overtired, underpaid, often unhoused voters & their families…. Who do you believe?
This is a problem! If you know how government works and know at least some U.S. history, you can make reasonably informed decisions about who's credible and who isn't. But if you don't, you're pretty much at the mercy of political advertising and the news tsunami that precedes major elections. And it gets harder every year to find reliable news sources.
The “main-stream-media” refused to tell their audience (viewers, readers, listeners) that tRump was "Putin’s Puppet” and nothing more than the boss of a NY crime family forced to relocate to Miami. They treated the insurrection he led as “normal” protesting and pretended that Project 2025 was just a big joke. The Founders wrote the 2nd amendment to assure we would be provided facts, but the MSM used the 2nd amendment to provide us with fiction disguised as facts.
It was an abrivated campaign. The shortest ever maybe and she almost won. Plus the Trump Magas has a running head start and hate up to the max. It was a lot to overcome in a short period of time
The Far Right Christian Influence imho. Heritage Foundation, Federalist Society. The usual phony hypocrites. Thomas, Alito & other neo faciasts. Don't forget the rich door slammin' immigrants who think THEY should run the joint.
