None of the people in this evil regime have a clue as to what they’re doing. It certainly shows when it comes to the costs of drugs. The whole pharmaceutical industry and the insurance industry need to be overhauled and strict laws put into place to stop ripping people off. Enough. America deserves better.

Thank you Michael for being succinct and to the point. Great job.

Agreed. For way too long we've been at the mercy of CEOs and middlemen. We need to cut them out, take over the manufacturing and then sell them just over manufacturing cost. I mean like 2-3% over the cost of manufacturing/production. Also stop kick backs to doctors for putting people on drugs because they get money for it instead of being the best option. Universal Healthcare can help but also state run hospital that have no interest in profits will help the most. Also, they have to be well funded, so they can have adequate staff. Also, free training for jobs in the medical field, including doctors. Basically, get paid to train.

Other voices in this regime are emphasizing that AI will be taking over white collar jobs. I think the job of CEO is a white collar job. And we can certainly reduce the costs of everything if we replaced these greedy guys with AI. Let's go.

I totally agree with you. I’ve spent many years in the medical field and have complained to my Senators and Congressmen that the pharmaceutical and insurance industries are broken and need to be fixed! The way these industries are now, there is too much profit for them and the people who benefit from meds and insurance have to pay for it. Enough!

If there was a Nobel Prize for lying, Trump would win it every year. All Americans should know better than to believe anything that spews from his lie-hole, but sadly a whole bunch of Americans continue to believe every stupid word he says. Do you think they'll notice that their prescriptions cost MORE, not less, in 2026. If they notice, they'll blame Biden because that's what Trump has taught his supporters to believe. "It's all somebody else's (usually Biden's) fault." I'm so sick and tired of this!

Thank you, Michael, for keeping us informed. Have a great year and keep on doing what you do!

My husband and I are both retired academics. 2025 was a rough year medically, politically, and financially. We lost dear friends to tragic accidents, had heart surgery, and saw friends and neighbors struggle with health, careers, and life in general.

Next week I will fill 2 prescriptions- one will be $1600 for 90 days and the other will be almost $2000. Our health insurance has gone up, our electric bill was $600 plus, our car and home insurance has increased. My retirement benefits are not increasing, well my Social Security is up 2+%

No way will the increase match our cost of living, and we live very frugally.

Trump is a dangerous joke.

"Next week I will fill 2 prescriptions- one will be $1600 for 90 days and the other will be almost $2000."

That is SO disgusting!

I live in the UK, and we have universal health care. We pay 8% of our salary and that covers all health care AND a pension.

The health care we receive is "free". Our prescriptions, whatever drug they are for are $13 for a month's supply. If the doctor specifies two or three months on the scrip, that's still $13. And if you are under 18 or over 65 you pay nothing.

The NHS is not perfect - sometimes you have to wait for treatment, but not if it's anything serious.

And still the country rolls along - the economy hasn't collapsed and drug company CEO's aren't throwing themselves out of windows. Universal healthcare has long been proven as a great benefit to each country that has it.

And yet I keep reading comments like yours from Americans who can't seem to get their government , whatever the flavor, to see sense. It is very, very sad.

Not only is it sad…it’s frustrating and people die who don’t need to because they can’t even afford the very limited care that insurance does provide. Best healthcare personnel in the world - but no access now. The ACA helped us to insure our families, now we get to make a choice about who on our family gets insurance. My daughter is now on the “fingers crossed” plan, but she made sure her 4-year old is covered. It’s so stupid!!

In case you are unaware, there is a good lower cost option for meds that cuts out completely the OBMs (pharmacy benefit managers, the whores).

Trump continues to prove that he is the fraud many of us knew he was. Vapid and narcissist. Deadly combination. But he doesn't care as he leads the most corrupt regime in US history. Thanks Michael. Hope you have a good New Year.

His only goal was to enrich himself; he wanted to be the richest he could be and let the Heritage Foundation do what they wanted he'd be the front man. In 11 months he gained $ 3 billion and now that's who he hangs with, his new billionaire buddies. He's more interested in building projects/monuments to himself than in trying to govern.

Big fat thank you to all those who think we need a "businessman " running this country.

In a recent study on apes, it concluded that "Serotonin, the neurotransmitter most associated with wellbeing and mood stability, is regulated largely by perceived position in social hierarchies. Not actual position; perceived position. Your brain is running a constant background calculation about where you rank relative to others, and it adjusts your baseline mood accordingly."

Sound familiar?

Additionally,in a series of primate studies at UCLA. Researchers Michael McGuire and Michael Raleigh found that dominant male vervet monkeys had roughly twice the serotonin concentrations of subordinate males, which alone isn’t surprising.¹ What happened next is that they placed an alpha male behind a one-way mirror where his troop couldn’t see him. Nothing about his actual capabilities had changed; he hadn’t lost a fight, hadn’t been injured. But his troop couldn’t see his dominance displays, couldn’t acknowledge his status, and his serotonin crashed within days.

NOW, are we tracking?

Let's stop using his name and giving him free press (like we have non-stop since 2016) and see what happens.

the diabetes drug price went down because it's something that Biden negotiated. Remember how he said no one would pay more than $35 a month. well, that fell by the wayside because of trump but it seems there was still enough language in that bill to keep diabetes drugs lower priced. that's my take anyway.

King Cheeto Rubs Wealth Into American Faces

In a nice short piece at Raw Story Ewan Gleadow reported on a third Great Gatsby Mar a Lago New Year’s party and commented on by Gavin Newsome’s Press Office on the X platform

An ice 2026 sculpture at the caviar station was part of a once again cruel demeaning nature of flaunting wealth in 1920’s style while America is suffering from an inflationary spiral due to the collapsing of the purchasing power of the dollar(last recorded in recent months to lows of 6 cents to what the dollar purchased in 1971 in terms of gold)

Newsom's Press Office also criticized(https://bit.ly/3YZ8cEt) the decision from Trump to veto a clean drinking water bill for SE Colorado, with a post depicting Trump as a member of royalty shared. The image is captioned, "NO WATER FOR YOU PEASANTS, I NEED TO PUNISH YOU FOR A POLITICAL GRUDGE!"

French Revolution 2.0 American style is coming in 2026 for the King Cheeto and his Court of sycophants and billionaire buddies

Had anyone checked to see if his BS trumprx.gov is just another competitor to goodrx.com? Or to Mark Cubans drug company. I’m sure there’s profit somewhere for the trumps for using the name. I am so sick of him. Wish he would keep taking more aspirin.

Trump talks tough but he is in fact the biggest coward we've ever had in the White House. This has been proven time and again every time he talks to Putin, Xi, Kim, Erdogan, Orban, etc, he just falls to his knees and starts sucking. An embarrassing P0S. The Reich should have known he was a coward because he is a Draft Dodger.

I actually think Trump prefers lies to truth, even if he could get the results promised.

With his lies he gets to say the 'best numbers', tell his story his way, unencumbered with facts.

By going the lying route he does not need to actually do any real work. Does not even need to know real facts. Trump is simply more comfortable lying than doing the actual work of negotiating real deals that will make a real difference.

It is also possible the Drug Companies simply pampered Trump's ego and made him think there was a deal. Or maybe they just helped Trump understand where his political fortunes were by keeping Big Pharma 'on his side'.

Trump NEVER had the motivation of helping people like you and me. He only has to keep two groups happy, or under control... His Cult followers / legion of haters and the ultra rich who can give him money.
