When we used to have a functional government, the CIA/FBI/any highly crucial department would never hire such a clear threat to the country. We are watching what happens when an easily manipulated "leader" is allowed infinite power to destroy what it took 250 years to build. MAGA, in other words, didn't come out of nowhere.
Here's an even more crucial question: What are we going to do about it? Thanks to our collective negligence, the rot goes very deep. One or two or three elections aren't alone aren't going to fix it. There's a hard road up ahead. Are we ready for it?
