They are known as “ad hominem” attacks. In other words, attacking the person rather than the action or reasoning under discussion. It is a very useful way to distract attention from the actual issue.
You might notice that “argument” is 47’s stock in trade. MAGA oriented sites seem to have a lot of the same.
Please apply that same critical insight to ALL of the arguments being made from ANY point of view.
