They want us gone. Trump. MAGA. Corporate news. They want us gone. This is not going as planned for them. Good. They thought they’d dominate the narrative over the government shutdown with their lies. They thought they could blame it all on migrants and transgender people. It’s not working. Their playbook is failing. Every single major poll that has been released shows the American people blame Trump and Republicans for the shutdown. America is waking up. People realize that it’s actually their healthcare that is about to be taken away by Trump. They aren’t buying Trump’s lies this time.

We’ve been covering the looming shutdown for months. Just as we’ve been covering the Epstein files for years, we take a long-term view on all these pressing issues so our audience is not suddenly surprised by the chaos of “breaking news,” when the facts leading to a development have been going on for a long time.

We’ve been talking about freight decreases, farming issues, trucking problems, and construction problems consistently for months.

We’ve been keeping you apprised of international affairs—whether it’s in India, Canada, Australia, Taiwan, Japan, countries in Africa, or China—so none of these recent developments come as a surprise to our viewers.

Trump and corporate news want to exploit the shock and awe of breaking news which seemingly comes out of nowhere. However, it doesn’t come out of nowhere. We make the connections, we give historical perspectives and links, we focus on international developments, and we don’t give up on coverage when we get threatened by Trump and MAGA.

We get more viewers than Fox on digital and Joe Rogan. That means tens of millions of Americans who watch Meidas have been aware for months of the root causes of this shutdown. They know the absurdity of the claims by Trump that he brought in $17 trillion in tariffs.

Our demographics show that we reach a lot of red-state MAGA voters who are finally hearing the truth from us on social media channels, the same way they were infected with lies by right-wing media in the ’80s and Fox until recently. Now they hear the truth.

This makes what we are doing very important. Existential. When I say we, I am including you and this movement. It’s important work, and it’s vital work that you help us with every single day. That makes us a target for Trump and MAGA and corporate news. But it’s worth it based on our mission together.
