A longtime Donald Trump supporter is threatening to blow the lid off the president’s inner circle, claiming that a legal battle with former Trump ambassador Kimberly Guilfoyle could ultimately bring down the entire administration.

“This might just bring down the entire Trump administration,” Trump donor Eric Deters declared in a new video posted on Facebook announcing that he has filed a lawsuit against Guilfoyle and several attorneys.

Deters, who has been publicly feuding with Guilfoyle, said he intends to use the litigation to pursue depositions of both Guilfoyle and her former fiancé, Donald Trump Jr., while seeking documents from the Trump administration.

He also teased what he described as an explosive, previously undisclosed 16-minute phone recording from Greece that he claims contains devastating information about Guilfoyle.

And he didn’t stop there.

“It also may end the JD Vance Marco Rubio ticket,” Deters warned.

The extraordinary statements come from a man who has supported Trump since the beginning and continues to support his policies. His allegations and predictions have not been independently verified.

We Can’t Wait for Trump’s Inner Circle to Save Us

Whatever comes of Eric Deters’ threats, one thing is clear: We cannot count on feuds, lawsuits, or revelations from within Trump’s own orbit to determine what happens next.

The future of this country will be decided by the American people, including at the ballot box this November. And there are ways to make a difference right now.

‘This Might Just Bring Down the Entire Trump Administration’

Deters announced that he had filed his lawsuit in Kentucky state court, representing himself.

The suit, per Deters, names Guilfoyle and attorneys associated with her legal defense and includes claims of defamation, false light, and breach of contract.

He alleges that Guilfoyle and her attorneys falsely characterized his previous allegations as fabricated, accused him of being a blackmailer, and claimed that he owed Guilfoyle money.

Those allegations are disputed, and filing a lawsuit does not establish their truth.

Deters made clear that he views the legal action as an opportunity to obtain testimony and documents from people close to the president.

“This lawsuit will allow me to conduct discovery, take depositions including Kim Guilfoyle and Donald Trump Jr.,” he said, adding that he intends to issue subpoenas.

A deposition of Trump Jr. has not been established as scheduled or court-ordered.

Deters also said the litigation would include subpoenas for documents from the Trump administration, potentially expanding the dispute beyond Guilfoyle and into the president’s political operation.

The Mystery Recording From Greece

Perhaps the most provocative portion of Deters’ announcement concerned a recording he claims to have obtained through a contact in Greece.

“I can assure you, by the end of tomorrow I am going to play for you a phone recording that is the most explosive, most devastating information about Kimberly Guilfoyle to date,” Deters declared.

“No one in the media has it,” he continued, specifically naming the Wall Street Journal and MailOnline.

Deters said the recording consists of a 16-minute telephone conversation he had with someone in Greece.

He did not disclose its contents in the video, making it impossible to independently assess his claims about its significance.

Nevertheless, he suggested that the information could have consequences far beyond Guilfoyle herself.

“It’s my opinion that I have brought down the Greek ambassador,” he said. “It’s my opinion that Susie Wiles is going to go.”

He then suggested the controversy could threaten the entire Trump administration and the political future of Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Guilfoyle’s $100,000 Scandal Just Got Even Messier

The new lawsuit announcement comes just days after Guilfoyle’s departure as U.S. ambassador to Greece following a series of damaging reports about her financial dealings and relationships with wealthy donors.

The controversy erupted after The Wall Street Journal reported that Guilfoyle had asked Deters to wire $100,000 directly to her American Express account shortly before her July 2025 Senate confirmation hearing.

According to messages reviewed by the Journal, Guilfoyle suggested the payment could be made without attracting attention.

The Journal also reported that Deters had paid Guilfoyle approximately $300,000 for appearances over the years and had separately paid speaking fees to Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump.

Deters told the newspaper he had sought Guilfoyle’s assistance in obtaining attention from Trump administration officials for legal and tax matters, including efforts to secure the extradition of a Pakistani doctor accused of performing unnecessary spinal surgeries.

Guilfoyle’s attorney Jesse Binnall, named in the lawsuit, disputed the authenticity of the messages and maintained that Guilfoyle was owed money for services. Deters disputes that account.

The scandal intensified as additional reporting raised questions about Guilfoyle’s activities in Greece and her relationships with influential business figures.

Guilfoyle was subsequently asked to resign from her ambassadorship. She has denied wrongdoing and pledged to defend her reputation.

Her departure also came amid an extraordinary public distancing effort by Trump, who downplayed her former relationship with his son despite previously praising her publicly.

“Kimberly Guilfoyle was not a member of my family. I guess she dated my son a long time ago. I didn’t like what I read,” Trump told reporters on October 13.

A $1 Million Demand and a Warning to Trump

Deters’ latest announcement also included a series of demands that he said could lead him to drop the lawsuit.

Among them: a public apology, acknowledgment that he had not blackmailed Guilfoyle, a retraction of claims that he owed her money, and a $1 million payment.

He also demanded that Trump take action on the Durrani case, including arranging the doctor’s extradition from Pakistan and ordering federal investigations into matters connected to the litigation.

Deters rejected suggestions that his demands constituted extortion.

“This is not extortion,” he declared, insisting that his actions were lawful and motivated by his desire to help alleged medical malpractice victims.

“I have read all the President Trump’s books,” Deters said. “I know President Trump’s psychological makeup.”

He added that he was repeatedly underestimated by his opponents and warned that he intended to continue pressing his claims.

The dispute now presents an unusual spectacle for the floundering White House: a Trump donor who once paid substantial sums to figures in the president’s orbit is openly threatening to pursue testimony from the president’s son, obtain administration records, and release additional damaging allegations about one of Trump’s former ambassadors.

Whether Deters can substantiate his most sweeping claims remains to be seen.

For now, the man at the center of the scandal that preceded Guilfoyle’s resignation is promising that the revelations are far from over.

And he is warning that the consequences could reach all the way to the White House and beyond.
