They have shifted $50 trillion in income from the middle & lower classes over the past 50 yrs. They’ve diminished civil & women’s rights. The federal minimum wage is stagnant & is a joke! They’ve been working to ensure that critical thinking skills weren’t & still aren’t being taught, especially in the southern & other typically red states. And they haven’t stopped. That was an important piece in their ability to convince the middle & lower income people to vote against their own best interests, I.e. social safety nets. They use the fear of losing the right to own guns & that Dems support full term abortions. They do so because they are in the minority in this country.
