When I first heard of this meeting with all generals and admirals, I wondered if it was to swear an oath of field to Trump and renounce their oath to the constitution. I sure hope I am wrong and I hope that the multitude would reject him outright and keep their oath to the constitution.

This is what I wrote to Ron, Ben, Scott Dworkin, Marc Elias, my two Senators and my House Rep, yesterday:

"Please bring total focus to Hegseth’s exceptionally anti-American, anti-National Security ACTION.

This meeting must NOT HAPPEN & that gathering MUST BE STOPPED.

My late night letter to my Rep and Senators:

"Sir/Madam, we have met - quite some time ago.

I was an Officer in the US Navy in the early 1970s. My main duty station was the Defense Intelligence Agency due to my outstanding academic performance at the joint Navy, Air Force Air Intelligence School in Denver, CO.

With that background, I have a simple message -- it is beyond fucking insane to gather the entirety of the "Flag Leadership" of the US Armed Forces at a single GPS location.

That meeting must be stopped and Hegseth removed from duty before he wittingly or unwittingly enables a National Security nightmare the likes of which this Nation has never experienced.

For National Security & Operational Integrity reasons, those Officers should refuse to attend because the order is a monumental threat to them and our Nation.

Thank you"

Well, the brain trust now ruling this country aren't concerned about national security. These people aren't just incompetent; they are insane. Look at the quote from John Thune, a man who in the before times was seen as reasonable and relatively moderate. I suspect he's just feigning crazy, but that only makes him loathsome as well as dangerous. This country is on the verge of total collapse and we are all in extreme peril.

If the felon were to force an oath of allegiance to him, 85% of the room would walk out. He won't take that risk. These officers swear by the Constitution and to execute lawful orders, not any order. And the Commander in Chief is not in the chain of command. And, I suspect that most if not all of these officers have contempt for Hegseth--an ex-Army major. Generals don't take orders from an ex- major unless he has earned their respect. And Hegseth has done nothing except to disrupt the military and fire a lot of their friends.

The point is to stage a video of military people standing to attention and sitting there while he and Hegseth rant. Later the video will be edited to appear that the felon is in charge and has all the power. It's propaganda. It will no doubt look exactly like one of those newsreels of Hitler speaking in front of ranks of generals, but in color.

The felon and Hegseth must be very confident they hold the upper hand. In other times and places an autocrat would never have the military in one place with him for fear of a military coup.

They are physically courageous. And they know politicians come and go. Sure, some are rivals, some are careerists, some take bribes from overseas port operators, but on Tuesday they are all in the same room together and they will be watching each other. Who is going to sell out the rationale of his entire career and go back to try to command his subordinates as a Trump quisling? Some might, but I don't think most will.

The country was lost when Trump was never held to account for J6. An insurrection. An effing insurrection, and the GOP said Ok, Merrick Garland studied his navel and Americans reelected him.

As for the farmers: hell no. They can demand their quisling members of Congress to revoke the tariffs and provide them the markets they seek. Socialism for them but capitalism for everyone else. No more.

78% of agricultural dependent counties voted for Trump

78%

This is what they voted for, Trump said over and over in his campaigning that he was going to implement tariffs, and the farmers voted for that.

So they got their wish, now they can sit in the same boat all the rest of us are sitting in.

No hand outs to farmers!
