I believe in the scientific creation of life - life that crawled forth from the oceans and slowly evolved from a one cell organism to progress up through the chain of evolution for many eons. Humans are still evolving but it is not evident in one lifetime. Scientists have clearly proved that humans share 98%-99% DNA with chimpanzees and bonobos. Humans share a large percentage of DNA with many different living animals and plants. Most people shutter at the thought that humans share a lot of DNA with pigs!
Organized religion is a very dangerous thing! Millions of people have been killed in the name of religion. However, I do respect all peoples' right to believe in whatever brings them peace of mind.
