Isn’t there any concern that you’ve now created a quick-and-dirty target list? I understand it would be easy(or at least possible) for them to create the list themselves, but this feels really endangering. These are not normal times…
Every NONtRumputinist and ANTItRumputinist American AND such a person of the world is the tRumputin's target. These are indeed not normal times wherein the worst thing would be acquiescing to being terrorist tRumputin's accomplice through invisibility.

The goal being to rid America once forever of the terrorist putin's usurpation of America that was perpetrated almost a decade ago already by means of his agent krasnov donald j. tRump-his cult!!

All of this was summed up 30 years ago in a column for the New York Times by the great Bob Herbert. Its title? "A Nation of Nitwits". The level of ignorance and stupidity has only increased and now we are ruled by lunatics.
Canadian here. We are all beginning to realize there is no hope for any negotiation or sanity with the tariff situation. Not only is trump out of his mind, so is everyone in his orbit and every republican in congress; a contaminated basket of christo- fascists, freaks, morons, grifters, psychos and nazis.
And, they are smothering your country under the oppressive weight of their "sheer stupidity. Worse, they have 'no clue' that there's anything wrong with what they're actually doing to the USA and beyond. No clue that they're dumb as bricks. And, if there are any republicans with some small shred of doubt, who still choose to side with the half-wits , they're worse because they can smell the cruelty, see the harm done, but choose to hold their noses and look the other way. Cowards and half-wits.
No wonder Americans are taking to the the street in protest. Keep it up!
I'd move to Canada if I could but have already checked and was told that I don't qualify - too old and too poor. So I'm trapped here in this fascist nightmare.
We'll stay here and fight to keep Cheeto Face from invading beautiful and beloved Canada. No one anywhere is safe from the coming tragedies because—like it or not—we are a global economy and all need each other to keep the planet habitable and increase prosperity for all.
As the well worn quote attributed by Ralph Nader to Justice Brandeis goes: “We may have democracy, or we may have wealth concentrated in the hands of a few, but we can’t have both."
There’s millions of us in the same boat, so we may as well stay here, band together, snd work like hell to conquer the Beast! Then we can stand proud of what we have done. Solidarity!
The whole point of the tariffs is to raise taxes and loot the retirement savings of middle and lower earning Americans. This gives the Trump regime and the billionaire owned republican congress more money to give the billionaires in their tax cuts. This is combined with the impending cuts to Social Security, Medicare, veterans benefits etc. When will the dumbass republican voters figure it out?
An additional wrinkle in the plan to build all these factories is that Trump is deporting all the construction workers. Also, much of the material to build the factories would have to be imported as well. Unless you build factories to produce the materials to build those factories.
I worked in construction and lumber in the bay area for 30 years. A lot of the lumber we purchased was cut in Canada. Even if we are able to cut more lumber in the US, lower supply will raise lumber prices. That is, of course, unless our economy drops off a cliff and demand falls to near zero because no one can afford to build. No jobs, no money, no demand.
And no new housing, which is badly needed to lower the skyrocketing cost and shelter the working poor forced to live on the streets. We are in for some very hard times.
Democrats tried very hard to address it in the too often unfavorable environment of tRumputin repukkke cult which blocked Democrats' everything. So, it hasn't been really quite a both-sides thing and that the cult-voting deplorables of Americans were bribed by the billionaires to vote against the Americans' interests - can't be dished out to some sort of Democrats' fault..
I am really really sick of the "both sides are bad" bullshit. Democrats did NOT put plans in place to deport every immigrant in the United States with no legal recourse. Republicans voted for this, thereby affecting EVERY aspect of American life because of lack of workers. This is a truly evil regime.
I am currently a Democrat and have supported them with money and time. That being said, money and favored position has made many in the democratic party lack the fight they need to get things done. Affordable housing is a huge problem that has not been adequately addressed by the democrats. I was very happy that Kamala had a plan and hoped she would fight for it, but sadly she is not our president. Do not confuse a concern about a single issue with condemning an entire platform. This is not "both sides are bad" but the democrats are not perfect. Most in the people inside the party would tell you the same.
Lies infiltrate the entire thinking of the liars, so that their brains become wired to always lie in speaking and thinking. It destroys their ability to distinguish reality from falsity - until the truth comes crashing down on them.
Unless Navarro et al want to pay American workers the same rates as workers in Bangladesh and Vietnam, there's just no way American clothing manufacturing is coming back. A big American furniture maker in NC just locked its doors and laid off all its employees. I don't understand where Dumpy and his advisors think manufacturing is coming back to the US. The US has great business strengths, and it should capitalize on those instead of longing for the good ol' days.
In large part the talk about bringing manufacturing back to the U.S. is to string along people who want to believe Trump's lies.
In case voters haven't noticed when foreign auto manufacturers built plants in the U.S. they did so in RIGHT TO WORK states where they could get away with paying lower wages and lesser benefits packages.
Longing for those good ol' days of of the Gilded Age? Pfft. Who is left to be buying all this stuff to support the economy when the middle class is completely wiped out?
The car plant being planned in NC is NOT EVEN gonna happen now. Unless something changed . Land Rover and Jaguar are halting all cars and parts to us until they figure out how to manage!
It seems such a waste of time for the news media to keep interviewing the administration lackeys who answer questions with lies or nonsense answers, as if these people are ever going to give a straight answer to anything. Every one of them oozes contempt for the journalists and the public.
The MSM are also not accurately reporting on the 'Hands Off demonstrations - I've read numerous times that "thousands" demonstrated - true understatement.
Asshole, we ain't waiting FOUR YEARS for you to be proved WRONG!
Germany just pledged BILLIONS in investing in weapons.
Asshole, because of you and Trump, Germany and Europe sure as HELL is not going to be buying F35s from Lockheed Martin. They have Air Bus in Europe they can quickly make military planes. Dassalt in France makes the FABULOUS Rafael fighter jets. They make fighter helicopters in Europe, this is NOT a closed market the USA owns. The UK makes fighter planes.
Because of your stupid "theory" Europe is going to RISE and WE are going to SINK. So I am supposed to wait for FOUR YEARS until you say, "Oopsie?"
I am not waiting, I am protesting the fuck out of you RIGFHT NOW.
Not waiting FOUR YEARS for an "Oopsie."

… WH Trade Advisor Peter Navarro: "Right now the smart strategy is not to panic. We're gonna have the biggest boom in the stock market we've ever seen under the Trump policies. You can't lose money unless you sell. We will hit 50,000 on the Dow easily by the end of this term.”
Let's archive that Navarro "strategy" for the record and hold him to it. He's just trying to keep the markets from falling lower and making the Fuhrer look worse than he already does. Anyone who takes him for a financial prophet is as dumb as he is. Even dimwit Marge "The Barge" Green knows that.
John Kenneth Galbraith wrote the following in his book The Great Crash 1929 (published in 1955): "There would also be, we may be certain, the traditional reassuring words from Washington. Always when markets are in trouble the phrases are the same: 'The fundamentals are good.' All who hear these words should know that something is wrong."
I remembered those words when the economy started tanking during the McCain/Obama campaigns of 2008; McCain kept insisting "The fundamentals of the economy are strong" — until Lehman Bros. collapsed.
We need to get the House and Senate to put back the laws against Congress critter's insider trading. Although, I have to admit that almost anybody could have seen this disaster coming at us in slo-mo as soon as 47 was reelected.
I leave the writing to you Oak. Sarcasm , laughing and mocking. All me. It is the only way I can not be blazing angry ,constantly. I'm not capable of controlling it. : )
I understand completely; I yell at the TV whenever Numbnuts or his acolytes spout off. This dystopian nightmare is gonna kill me sooner or later, and I might just find that a relief.
I would rather not be around either if this all plays out . I am already past my expiration date, per doctors, who know nothing. I will continue to fight, until I can't
Well, you could say insider trading, but I think it was pretty obvious even before she made her move. Cheeto Face was threatening tariffs during his campaign in order to sell his billionaire tax cuts, two things he is obsessed with and has been for years. Ironic that many apparently voted for him because they thought he'd be better for the economy.
Empty Greene may be as dumb as a stump but she picked up on insider trading mighty quick, din't she? Also her grifting on behalf of her adult son....????? Wow, that took some serious chutzpah--not that she lacks effrontery--but even she should have known that her request would cause blowback.
Navarro is an ivy league trained economist. Think he just might be betraying his education to cover for lord Trump? Do they have ethics courses in the ivy league?
And among all the Ivy League legacy students. And hey, isn't THAT little practice a form of discrimination? Oh, right...generally the legacy kids are the scions of rich white guys, so it must be okay.
I just loathe what the Repubbie leaders of this country seem to want us to become; a modern version of the racist hellhole that was the Confederate South.
The futures are predicting another massive drop on Monday. We won't need to sell because there won't be anything left to sell. I'm 72 and don't have the luxury of hanging on for 4 years to see if my retirement funds that I saved for over 40 years are going to come back.
He’s a fascist arsehole (Australian pronunciation) everything you have written is true. Dumph, MusckRat and Don’t ad Vance don’t give a shit about the American people.
What the Republican commentators left off is that those tiny screws (etc.) will be screwed in by robots. The millionaire owners of the buildings won't have big payrolls, and they won't have to pay big shipping costs for overseas shipping.
Howard Lutnick is so damn stupid, he makes me want to scream. All these people do is lie and gaslight. It's time interviewers push back hard. The people who actually believe Lutnick, Navarro and Tuberville are a lost cause.
I just saw a totally insane (FB) rant posted by Dump on X that now claims each person who protested, in ALL the protests yesterday was paid a minimum of $1,000,000(million) EACH, by who else? George Soros. I am not making that up, and I believe the amount was even larger. Incredible. He Is Nuts, totally and completely out of his mind.
… Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) on Fox: “This isn't a trade war. This is balancing our economy with countries that have taken advantage of us. There's countries for decades that have got rich over the backs of the workers here in America. What's happened is we've lost manufacturing jobs because of our unfair trade deals that have left America, went to other countries, building their products and turning it back around and selling it to our economy.”
Nope. We lost our manufacturing jobs because greedy corporate overlords wanted more money and sent jobs overseas to get cheaper, non-union labor. He knows nothing of the history.
A 50501/Hands-Off Protest took place yesterday in Indianapolis, which usually only gets mentions for sports and car races, but in this very RED state there were several thousand Hoosiers who gathered and marched at the state capitol, all standing up for democracy! It was a chilling sight to behold!
Peter Navarro, Scott Bessent, and Tommy Tuberville, all millionaires or billionaires, are all trying to tell us to calm down because this will just be some short term pain. People my age are watching our retirement accounts vanish before our eyes. We worked hard and saved that money for 40-50 years so we could have a comfortable and safe retirement. We don't have the luxury of waiting 4 years hoping the market will come back.
Joe Biden passed the Chips and Science Act in an effort to bring manufacturing back to the US, most notably the manufacture of chips and semi-conductors that we are totally dependent on foreign counties for. Trump has said he intends to repeal that bill. How are we supposed to believe that he cares about manufacturing? We've lost manufacturing jobs because of cheap labor. Even if those jobs are brought back, the labor is going to be higher, so the products will cost more.
I want the judge overseeing the case of Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia to drag Pam Bondi's ass into his courtroom to demand an explanation of how it happened and why they can't bring this man back. If the US managed to get Kristi Noem in there to film her propaganda video, they can go in and get this man back.
Navarro says "you can't lose money unless you sell." Well, I didn't sell a damn thing and my retirement account took a dive on Friday. I'm 72 and already retired, so who knows if I will have the luxury of time to see it grow back.
Was he the asshole that said people aren't watching this day to day? The arrogance & ignorance of these people is appalling & we have to get them OUT of power right now.
I'm in the same boat. My funds are invested conservatively and I still lost a boatload of money. I'm sick of these millionaire and billionaires telling us not to panic.
Please 🙏🏽, going forward, include VP Vance !!! He’s as despicable as Trump and Musk ! Do not leave his face and name,at all times, OUT !
And the rest of the project 25 idiots. We definitely need to keep our eyes on them!
Miller, Vought and the rest are the core evil in the administration. Trump is just a rubber stamp.

I know, have known it for years. A correction though - opus satani, no matter what they call themselves.
There is more than one group of extremists Catholics, including a phony bunch of Knights Templar.
Know that too. orban viktor of hungary summed 'em all up in his evil head.

Exactly so, Oaktown!! My respect and love to you for understanding the big picture!!
Bach atcha!
Same here.
There’s millions of us in the same boat, so we may as well stay here, band together, snd work like hell to conquer the Beast! Then we can stand proud of what we have done. Solidarity!
Amen.
Dumb Ass Republican Voters= Souless Braindead Brainwashed Orange Cult Sycophants
My sign at the protest with "Kakistocracy" and it's definition garnered quite a few comments.
Right on the money, sister.
Voted in by a nation of nitwits.
An additional wrinkle in the plan to build all these factories is that Trump is deporting all the construction workers. Also, much of the material to build the factories would have to be imported as well. Unless you build factories to produce the materials to build those factories.
I’m sure they’ve thought that all out. 🙄
Have you forgotten what Cheeto Face said to Canada: "We don't need your lumber"? None of these idiots can think past their next X post.
Yes, it is an unacceptable situation that neither party has addressed
And by the way the reason the Haitians (sp?) were in Springfield is because the factories couldn’t get the local population to work in them!
Mitsubishi built in Illinois, not a right to work state. But, they closed. Then, it was revived to build Rivians.
Thanks for the correction.
It was just an addition. LOL
They think they can go back to the gilded age. Probably they’re wrong.
Longing for those good ol' days of of the Gilded Age? Pfft. Who is left to be buying all this stuff to support the economy when the middle class is completely wiped out?
47 WOULD screw them over--in a heartbeat--if he thought it might benefit HIM in some way.
Trump is stuck in some kind of time warp when the middle class was all employed in decent paying manufacturing jobs. Those days are NEVER coming back.
Boy the way Glenn Miller played
Songs that made the hit parade.
Guys like us we had it made,
Those were the days.
And you knew who you were then,
Girls were girls and men were men,
Mister we could use a man
Like Herbert Hoover again.
Didn't need no welfare state,
Everybody pulled his weight.
Gee our old LaSalle ran great.
Those were the days.
Edith had a memorable delivery when she sang - Archie, I guess so.
Maybe an update of All In The Family would be good, maybe call
it All In The Bunker.
====================
I can’t wait til they’re all in the bunker.
Those days also included keeping Black people segregated and, women were dependent on their husbands or fathers, another fever dream of Russell Vought
Vought is a devil. They should NEVER HAVE allowed him to be appointed.
He's but one of many, none of whom should be where they are.
You're right and it's damn time the interviewers call them out.
Yes. I doubt this will happen, but a much more adversarial approach (like a prosecutor) would serve our corporate media and the public much better.
Yes, just spin after spin. Face the Nation Margaret Brennan did challenge Lutnick some which I liked. We need more of that.
I agree!

I remembered those words when the economy started tanking during the McCain/Obama campaigns of 2008; McCain kept insisting "The fundamentals of the economy are strong" — until Lehman Bros. collapsed.
Margo moved her $$$,$$$ out of stocks into T bills the days before Annihilation day. Gee wonder how she knew???
We need to get the House and Senate to put back the laws against Congress critter's insider trading. Although, I have to admit that almost anybody could have seen this disaster coming at us in slo-mo as soon as 47 was reelected.
Agree. Insider trading should be outlawed for Congress, just like the rest of us and it should never have been allowed in the first place.
I hope she pays taxes on the sale of those stocks.
Doubtful. The MAGGOTS think the law only applies to anyone who disagrees with them.
going for sarcasm Oaktown.
I thought so, but sarcasm often gets lost in writing.
I dont know anything else.
I'm with you. I hope your expiration date defies the doctors' predictions and we both live to see these traitors soundly defeated and shunned.
Yeah. I just SMH at the gullibility of US citizens--especially those who watch only Fox News. it' really is staggering.
True. Militant ignorance and complete lack of curiosity to look at what other sources say. Faux News is not news; it's propaganda.
You add so much to the forum Oaktown, thank you
Empty Greene may be as dumb as a stump but she picked up on insider trading mighty quick, din't she? Also her grifting on behalf of her adult son....????? Wow, that took some serious chutzpah--not that she lacks effrontery--but even she should have known that her request would cause blowback.
She loves blowback or any kind of publicity, negative or positive ... and yes, she's an expert liar, con artist, and fraud.
yeah...I forgot what media whore Empty is.
Navarro is an ivy league trained economist. Think he just might be betraying his education to cover for lord Trump? Do they have ethics courses in the ivy league?
No. They don't.
Dunno, but he sure exemplifies a bad mark against elite universities. Wonder how he got in; pretty sure it wasn't because of DEI. Nepotism?
One would assume, nepotism runs rampant among that group. Selling their souls for money also runs rampant within the Trump crowd.
Or the current version of Russia. They should all deport themselves there and leave our Constitution alone.
It's the price of admission ... and retention. Sick.
Pay to play was invented by the Ivy League.
Navarro is trying to "calm the masses" to keep pitchforks out of the streets.
Not gonna work; we're on to him.
Navarro is considered a hack by other economists.
Fck Navarro
Famous last words.
Yeah, I thought that was pure bull manure, too.
And his knuckle draggers will believe him and the media will both sides it.
LOL. Knuckle draggers, a term originated. I think in snowboarding, here at least whenI was. younger Colorado, knuckle draggers, snowboarders.
It's been used about Trump's yahoos for quite a while, along with the term mouth breathers.
Mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging yahoo...whatever label is used
doesn't change the tragedy unfolding.
And what kind of person perennially insults people, even after they've retired? It's a bad look, it is not normal, but considering the source,
it's no surprise.
Sorry youngster, knuckle dragger originated before snowboarding
Young. Haaaa. Thx. I wish..
Sort of
I thought it always applied to Neanderthals or cave men.
umm - the term was used to describe Neanderthal Man long before now.
Doug Emhoff needs to resign from Wilkie Farr. It’s not enough to speak against his fellow partners. It’s high noon…NOW.
If he doesn't resign, it will be a true drag on Kamala's future political ambitions
Markwayne is FOS
A 50501/Hands-Off Protest took place yesterday in Indianapolis, which usually only gets mentions for sports and car races, but in this very RED state there were several thousand Hoosiers who gathered and marched at the state capitol, all standing up for democracy! It was a chilling sight to behold!
Elbows Up Indiana!!!
Thanks for all your work, Ron.
It is about time that some judge somewhere holds these pigs in contempt and throws them in jail.
Send them to El Salvador would be better.
Amen. Bondi needs to be the one who is most accountable, since she does not have
protection from SCOTUS as does the dumptruck.
And using using football analogies is a confession that he cannot explain it
in its own field, which is ECONOMICS, not SPORTS.
We thought you were at a culinary festival this weekend, Ron. How did you find the time for this bulletin? Thank you!
That was Bessent, the millionaire Treasury secretary.
Apparently we're too stupid to be following this day to day.
I'm in the same boat. My funds are invested conservatively and I still lost a boatload of money. I'm sick of these millionaire and billionaires telling us not to panic.
