$300 billion of Russian assets held in Europe. Fuck trump, witkoff and kushner, Europe stop navel gazing and spend Russian money to buy weapons that the Ukraine will put to good use.

From Dean Blundell, is it fact or fiction?

In the quiet rooms in Brussels, London, Berlin, Paris and Ottawa, the conversation has flipped from:

“How do we manage Trump?”

to:

“What do we do when Trump sells us out?”

And the answer they’ve started gaming out is absolutely wild:

A European‑led military Plan B that keeps Ukraine armed and defended even if Washington ghosts the whole alliance.

And in the absolute worst‑case, a one‑shot economic “nuclear option”: using their trillions in U.S. government debt to shake the foundations of the American financial system if Trump tries to legitimise Russian aggression and carve up Ukraine for cash.

No, this isn’t Marvel fan‑fic.

Of course the EU is planning for strategies w/out Trmp. He’s been abundantly clear where. His loyalties lie- and it’s not with Ukraine. Also: the US is financially compromised. Apparently a significant amount of US Treasuries owned by Canada? Japan? Others? If sold, could be devastating?

Kayo's avatar

My reaction to this weekend's b.s.: I'm really glad I decided to wait until this a.m. to read Ron's post...i don't think I would have been able to sleep!

Truly, this regime becomes more sinister and corrupt every f'n day:

Witkoff & Kushner selling out Ukraine with a Russian billionaire, aided & abetted by Rubio.

Trump pardoning a convicted high level drug trafficker AND a scumbag convicted of swinging 1,000s of people out of the life savings.

Hegseth blowing boats up like its a video game with real life victims.

The Silicon Valley tech investor who is also advising on AI & crypto policy.

The WH ballroom growing in size & cost, without any permitting or planning or bidding.

The level of corruption and self dealing is sickening & enraging.

I am going to call my Congress reps and tell them to just quit, as they apparently have neither the balls or the brains to do their jobs.

… CEO Jamie Dimon told CNN why JPMorgan Chase is not funding WH Ballroom: “We have an issue, which is anything we do, since we do a lot of contracts with govts here and around the world, we have to be very careful how anything is perceived, and also how the next DOJ is going to deal with it.”

And yet Dimon was lawless and reckless in hiding and enabling the evil deeds of Jeffrey Epstein. Why weren't you worried about how THAT was perceived, Jamie? I already know the answer: you thought all the rich perverts who profited and participated would be immune from prosecution.

RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES!!! Hold people like Dimon accountable, and for god's sake, fire him from any position at an FDIC insured bank for the rest of his life. And stop asking him for advice on ANYTHING. He's a crook and a fraud.

But who’s going to stop this international criminal cabal that’s taken over the White House and our country? The constitution and the rule of law are absolutely meaningless unless/until someone actually holds them accountable! So is this what SCOTUS had in mind?

“… I could see Lea as a future Trump Secretary of State. Or DHS Secretary. Maybe FBI Director.”

And at the very least, or perhaps more importantly, Lea will likely be spending significantly more time at the Oval Office as douchebag Donny’s new lap warmer.

She thought Trump was only going to go after criminals, not hard-working people looking for a better life. Guess what? You voted for the party of face-eating leopards and now you see they’re eating the faces of anybody who’s in the way of white Christian Nationalism. Oh, and she didn’t like Biden’s policies toward Israel. What? The 350-pound bombs won’t kill as fast as the 500-pound bombs?
