My uncles all fought in the war. My aunts all worked contributing as well. Many of my relatives fought in the Korean War. My brother just retired from the Air Force. All of these people fought against fascism. All of these people fought for our democracy. I'm glad they are dead now. I'd hate my mom especially to see how far we've fallen.

Most of what you wrote is a rewarmed talking points. I explored every candidate's health care plan in both 2016 and 2020. Bernie essentially had no plan. His health care vertical was less than 500 words and basically said "We'll do Medicare for All and it will be magic — no premiums, no co-pays, no deductibles." Medicare has all those things. "Medicare for All" has become a slogan for universal affordable access but it isn't actually a plan.
For comparison, Joe Biden had 5,000 words on health care, and Liz Warren had almost 10,000, describing the entire process of getting to universal access, step by step. (Oddly, she was the one excoriated by the media with "How will you pay for it?" which was in her plan if they had read it. But: woman.)
Also talking about "other countries" isn't the own you think it is. Every country has a different type of health care plan; most don't resemble "Medicare for All." Maybe re-do your "research" if you want to discuss this.
By the way, both Pelosi and Jeffries ARE progressive, and Pelosi's brilliance was that she worked with EVERYONE in her caucus which is how she got so much done. Look at Bernie Sanders' Medicare for All plan in his 2016 run. It looks pretty good, and he explains how it would be paid for...most people would pay much less for better medical care. Every developed country and some not so developed, have universal healthcare for their people, except the U.S.A. Then do a little research on universal health care in other countries. I found my research very interesting and finally realized how badly Americans are screwed by the system we have. lol

Most of what you wrote is a rewarmed talking points. I explored every candidate's health care plan in both 2016 and 2020. Bernie essentially had no plan. His health care vertical was less than 500 words and basically said "We'll do Medicare for All and it will be magic — no premiums, no co-pays, no deductibles." Medicare has all those things. "Medicare for All" has become a slogan for universal affordable access but it isn't actually a plan.
For comparison, Joe Biden had 5,000 words on health care, and Liz Warren had almost 10,000, describing the entire process of getting to universal access, step by step. (Oddly, she was the one excoriated by the media with "How will you pay for it?" which was in her plan if they had read it. But: woman.)
Also talking about "other countries" isn't the own you think it is. Every country has a different type of health care plan; most don't resemble "Medicare for All." Maybe re-do your "research" if you want to discuss this.
By the way, both Pelosi and Jeffries ARE progressive, and Pelosi's brilliance was that she worked with EVERYONE in her caucus which is how she got so much done. It's literally the JOB of the Speaker, nothing a public progressive firebrand. She did not work with MAGAs who at this point it isn't possible to work with. It's not like when I was young and an Army brat of a career officer. When the service took care of their men and women. And now, the regime is taking away many of the reasons people joined the military (free college or training, medical treatment if disabled - though my husband who is a veteran of the Vietnam War rarely gets to see a real doctor face-to-face. They have no doctor in our V.A. clinic.
