Trump and his administration are psychologically and mentally deranged.

Trump would kill a million people if it meant he could stay in power as President. Release the rest of the EPSTEIN FILES, we haven't forgotten.

Linda Weide's avatar

Ray, I call Trump The Commander-in-Thief. That is what he is in relation to us. And yes. WE must not forget the Epstein Files. The media certainly seems to have forgotten.

Oaktown's avatar

Not the internet independent media!

Linda Weide's avatar

That is perhaps true, but most of the Substackers I read have been talking about the war and so have the independent newspapers like the Guardian. Of course, that and Ukraine have been my focus of late because I am so concerned about how this is affecting Ukraine too.

Ray's avatar

It's all Donald Trumps FAULT. Biden didn't start this war.Biden didn't destroy America, biden didn't take away food stamps , biden didn't take away Health care, biden didn't have a big beautiful bill for the rich.Allthis money could of funded health care. Release the rest of the EPSTEIN FILES, We haven't forgotten donald.

Oaktown's avatar

Me too—on Ukraine focus. I watch reports from Kiev and Jake Broe, who last night said the internet has been down for two weeks in Russia; he included interviews of Russians on the topic.

If you want to keep current on the Epstein stuff I recommend Tara Palmeri and Julie K. Brown.

Kim's avatar

Add Ellie Leonard-The Panicked Writer, she’s doing a great job with

Epstein File Research.

Sue Marie's avatar

I call his book "The Art of the Steal". He had never made a good deal in his whole life. He's a con artist and a scammer who should have been jailed decades ago. I don't understand why he has such a following and so much power.

Victims of Narcissits and many psychiatric doctors warned USA that this was coming. As a survivor of NPD, it has been painful to watch this nightmare unfold........when it could have been stopped before Trump 01.

Narcs are the most dangerous when the get old........you are seeing this right now, The catastrophic thing is .........Mctaco is now suffering dementia. and his selfcentred insanity is going to get worse.

Kim's avatar

You are right, much, much worse.

I would say this is:

“TREASON BY ESPIONAGE”

Selling private Security Briefings is ILLEGAL, They are NOT intended to be public, EVER.

NoBumperStickers's avatar

The U.S. taxpayers foot the bill for those national security briefings. Selling them to benefit a politician is FRAUD.

Kim's avatar

It actually meets the definition of Espionage within the criteria for Treason; I looked it up because I was wondering if the sale of private national security briefings qualified for impeachment charges.

nacreplus2's avatar

I suspect they will be fake ones anyway, like the first bunch of ring binders Bondi tried to pass off as the Epstein files. Trump never delivers anything of value for the money he collects.

Ray's avatar

Trump is the DEVIL himself.

1st light's avatar

I'm personally waiting for former sen. Bill Frist to weigh in. He was so RIGHT about Terry Schiavo.

Tall One's avatar

Him and Bibi and Putin. A trio if old guys wanted for war crimes as soon as they leave office.

They have nothing to lose..

Susan Troy's avatar

All three of these damaged and entirely selfish old goats have got to go. Yuck.

Diane Fallon's avatar

Why do they have to leave office first? They are murderers.

Marc B, a Creature of Habit's avatar

That would be 2 Corinthians, in front of the Whyte House, just like Donnie’s favourite Bible verse? How touching…in a most Epstein way…

Oaktown's avatar

And neither has Iran. Wonder what BiBi has on the pervert in the WH. Smartest thing Iran could do is hack into those files and release them all—unredacted but for the survivors.

Rhonda's avatar

Wonder if BiBi is also in those files?

Oaktown's avatar

Wouldn't surprise me, but we know Ehud Barak is. The Mossad is known for surveilling their own and conducting their own honey trap ops.

Cynthia's avatar

Yes! Don’t forget about the Epstein files. The survivors are still waiting for accountability.

Bonnie Sue Miller's avatar

He's well on his way while Congress does nothing.

The Mitz's avatar

The modern day record is about 6 million. Stephen Miller and his boss consider that a reasonable goal, with no plan to finish second.

Johan's avatar

Buttigieg nails it: “Any politician who does that has no business leading American troops into war.”

Fundraising off photos while wearing Mar-a-Lago casual isn’t incompetence, it’s the operational doctrine. American casualties aren’t moral weight, they’re content for extraction.

Same gradient I’ve been documenting: Iranian schoolchildren get memes (“WASTED” over bombed schools), American service members get monetized (Dover photos in fundraising emails). Both dehumanized, different tiers of the hierarchy.

Trump thought quick capitulation, got prolonged quagmire. Now begging allies he refused to consult while threatening media covering the failure.

Moron wants allies he doesn’t like to protect oil shipping lane he made dangerous…guy is a damn fool.

The chaos isn’t bug…it’s the business model.

SMDH…how mental does the orange twitcicle need to be before we remove him and his deranged cabinet?? 🤬🤬🤬

Oaktown's avatar

Gotta ask the MAGA congress that question.

And our"allies will not help us. Our mess. While Trump is playing our troops like toy soldiers, coffins coming home and he could care less. I have no idea how we clean up our mess and again he could care less. We are now the bad guys, like Israel, run by a moron. And don't get me started about the shoes. We have no leaders. On our own.

Mary Gorfine's avatar

This was mentioned but worth highlighting that It is completely within the realm of trump and bibi corruption for them to plan a large terrorist attack and blame it on Iran to gain public support for this lunatic war they started.

Oaktown's avatar

And then use that as an excuse to sabotage elections.

Meliss Bunce's avatar

Timothy Snyder has several substack posts on this very topic. His most recent is A Desire for Terror. I try not to think about this too much, because it's waaaaay too feasible for those two to play that card.

SFGal's avatar

Yes, Meliss, I read that with a chill in my heart as Timothy knows where these fascists are headed and to what extremes they will go, as in what he called "self-terrorism," I mentioned a few days ago herein. Like the fascists view the military, we civilians as well are mere faceless numbers, cannon fodder. We know it's coming! Plus, one of these maniacs will push the nuclear button for sheer power.

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

I agree. I said the same thing last week (ie: California or other US cities) even others cities worldwide.

Rhonda's avatar

Or deliberately provoke some nuclear response to or from some other belligerent. Got to wonder why nukes are even considered these days - why destroy the land resources so badly when poison gases/chemicals can just get rid of the people in the way?

Sorry. That's a nasty thought - so much is so bad it's hard to stay positive.

Diane Schumacker's avatar

My God, everything is FOR SALE in this administration. It's disgusting.

Oaktown's avatar

Including their souls.

ramonaj's avatar

Agreed everyone. I just don't get where their heads are. Besides the obvious location we imagine.

Oaktown's avatar

The ones they sold a long time ago.

Oaktown's avatar

Bone Spurs: " ... You’ll get the inside scoop DIRECT from me.”

There is nothing this scumbag will not sell for money, including our troops and our country. Anybody who pays money for his direct scoops will identify themselves as brainless beyond belief and incapable of learning for over 11 years.

JohnC-Va's avatar

Every day you think it can’t get worse, and like clockwork, the next day it’s worse.

Robin's avatar

DT fully (horrifically) covered by the DOJ (going back years!), the FBI, S. Court and of course the faux Judge Cannon. And all Repub Congress who are giddy with USA destruction.

NO ONE stopped the classified docs leaving the Florida ballrooms, bathrooms, bedrooms & bordellos.

2 words were at the core of this mess.

2 words were bypassed: Insurrectionist and Constitution.

JohnC-Va's avatar

Yeah, i don’t think it’s too extreme to state that this country is no longer a constitutional democracy. The Constitution has been retired, eliminated, destroyed, replaced, pick your own description. We’re going through the motions at the state and local levels, but the basic framework of our national government is gone. And I’m at a loss to see what comes after this disgusting putrid criminal is dead.

ramonaj's avatar

We have to push thru 3 years of this. Vote every election. Never give up or stop speaking out. We did it once. We have to do it again. Scum sucking pigs.

Oaktown's avatar

We're in an ongoing coup that started with Citizens United and the immunity decision, but a lot of judges are holding the constitutional line (of course they usually get screwed by the MAGA SCOTUS SCROTUMs).

But here's the ray of hope I'm hanging on to: maybe it will wake the maga zombies up and they'll vote blue or not vote at all. If we can take back all three branches, perhaps we can take our govt back from corporate billionaires and big tech, and pass needed legislative reforms to deal with the problems and corruption that have been accumulating pretty much since 1980.

JohnC-Va's avatar

I wish I was with you on that. Currently reading Jill Lepore’s “We The People” and the most frustrating takeway from the book is that we just can’t seem to get over the hump to get where we want to go. This shit we’re fighting now, greater in scope than ever before to be sure, is the same old shit we would have been fighting 250 years ago. It’s a great read, and she is a terrific writer, but it’s like 2 steps forward, 1 step back, the same dull-witted, selfish, greedy, racist, bigoted idiots just keep coming and coming down through the years. Anyway, sorry to be a downer. I’m sure I’ll feel better when the dictator dies and we kick their asses big time in November.

Oaktown's avatar

I'm a history buff and aware of all the obstacles you listed. Here's why I still have hope: despite the many parallels between this regime and, for example, Hitler's, there are two big differences:

1) We are a much larger, multi-state, and very diverse population, which makes it harder to coral every state or person into compliance with a tyrant.

2) We've already clawed back monopolies and income inequality once (Teddy and Franklin) and people are waking up to the fact our economy is rigged for the fat cats and against them.

I think the biggest obstacle and most important thing to tackle will be reining in Big Tech surveillance, which could make both my points carry far less weight. That's why my #1 requirement for any candidate is that they renounce PAC and dark money and make it clear they're willing to regulate AI, social media, and crypto (the currency of crooks and grifters).

Robin's avatar

Manufactured Immunity:

Critics and legal scholars have accused judge Cannon of "manufacturing immunity" for Trump by dismissing the case entirely, a move which effectively shielded him from prosecution in that matter.

Citing Clarence Thomas:

In her decision, Cannon cited a solo concurrence from Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, which suggested the special counsel's appointment was unlawful.

Susan Raquel's avatar

Oh for criminy's sake, he's just lying again. He will just make up some stupid lie and then tell his sickophant MAGA's how wonderful they are. Then, after he can't get any more money from them, tell them Biden made him stop doing it. or maybe just tell them he was just joking.

Then of course, to show they are special, some MAGA will post the "secret" stuff on Facebook, or X, or tic toc.

RELEASE THE REST OF THE EPSTEIN FILES.

WE HAVEN'T FORGOTTEN DONALD.

WHAT YOU GOING TO DO NEXT, YOU ALREADY STARED A WAR TO TRY AND GET THE EPSTEIN FILES OUT OF THE NEWS. ???

Oaktown's avatar

" ... we see right now that the president is seeking help from other nations in opening up the Strait of Hormuz. Why is that happening now? Wright: The element of surprise was essential so we could as quickly as possible destroy their military capabilities.”

Hey, Chris Wright, the element of surprise is essential for your enemies, NOT your drunken poser Sec Def or demented Commander in Cheat, who are currently finding out what insulting and ignoring your allies does to your belated cries for help.

Ruth Ann Orlansky's avatar

I read something about this in the NY Times. Basically, the nations that responded said they'd be glad to help out AFTER the war was over.

Oaktown's avatar

They're not stupid, unlike the maggots running this shitshow.

ramonaj's avatar

The whole exchange about the shoreline being on the Straight. I was choking laughing and terrified at the same time. Just almost unbelievable. Because , well we are living it, so it's real. Help.

colo-ski's avatar

they rarely actually answer a question, all re direction, lies or ???

Susan Raquel's avatar

Mostly ????????????

Susan Raquel's avatar

I also laughed, tell me, what body of water does not have a shoreline?

ramonaj's avatar

Not to mention the shoreline is IRAN. What stupidity.

ramonaj's avatar

The element of surprise should already have been used on those terrorist cells tha t DonOLD is so aware of. 😳

Nancy Richardson's avatar

It is past time for the Senate, the House and the Military to stop this war and everything associated with this evil regime. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! We need to take our country back and prosecute this regime. Now!!!

Thanks Ron for your getting the straight facts out.

Are they selling classified Intel to anyone now? WTF?

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

I believe it is just one big fucking grift! In these emails, he promises his followers all this cool stuff, they click on the link and he asks for money! I don't think all this cool stuff he promises ever comes to fruition though. I certainly hope not anyway!

Oaktown's avatar

I'm still wondering if any of these rubes ever got their watches.

Mingo's avatar

In two weeks they'll be available. I'm so furious with our taxpayer money being flushed down the toilet while this orange mofo and his monkeys grift, graft and scheme. No sympathy for the MAGA assclowns that have carried water for him and now are having a hard time getting a job. Sorry, not sorry. Yesterday I paid $4.69 per/gallon of regular unleaded gas in eastern Maricopa County, AZ. Two weeks ago it was $3.49 per/gallon. My gas tank was just below 1/2 full and it cost $43.00 for half a tank of gas. Fuck all the way off MAGA.

Susan Raquel's avatar

Yes, they were complaining about $3.70. I'd be very happy if that is all it was. Northern CA here, $4.49. Shell is $5.89.

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

Right?! Probably not, yet they still give him money and support him! 🤷🏻‍♀️

colo-ski's avatar

not a chance, that is a historic relic just like ANYTHING this regime states, its dead after 1 week

Bob's avatar

Getting a briefing on anything from Trump would be like a dog watching television. Trump doesn’t read, doesn’t listen the briefings, rarely looks at the visual version that’s now used.

patricia montague's avatar

I think he already did … during Biden’s term.

Ruth Ann Orlansky's avatar

"Hassett: “You have to understand that America is not going to have its economy harmed by what the Iranians are doing. They think they’re gonna harm the US economy and get Trump to back down? There couldn’t be anything that was a stupider thing to say.”

You are the stupid one, Mr. Hassett. I guess your pea brain is totally incapable of processing the fact that a lot of fertilizer is produced in the Middle East and it can't get through. Raising the prices to astronomical levels. And THIS won't harm a good portion of the food production "economy"?? And a lot of these farmers are Trump supporters. They, too are the stupid ones.

Bob's avatar

Just like those tariffs were going to “help” farmers. Babbling Brooke Rollins says any option, including more bailout money, is on the table. But they got rid of “waste, fraud and abuse.”

Dee Cee's avatar

"he is unfit to be the commander in chief.”

Commander in chief? trump is unfit for humanity.

Steve's avatar

That's a good question. Is he immune from that?

patricia montague's avatar

Agent Orange in action … out in the open is his M.O.

Steve's avatar

Trump has berated every country in world except Russia and now wants their help. 🫨🫨🫨🫨🫨

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

Hopefully they tell him to go get fucked!

Ruth Ann Orlansky's avatar

They are. According to an article I read in the NY Times, a few countries commented that they'd be glad to help AFTER the war is over.

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

Yes!!! "AFTER" 👏

Alastair McLean's avatar

Trump and Hegseth must think this is a WWE tag match. They talk like it. The Axis of Epstein is on its own on this one. Vietnam lasted a decade and had more than 1 million troops thrown into it for no visible result. Iran is at least ten times bigger and with even more challenging terrain. Operation Epic Fuckup doesn't even begin to describe it. Saw footage of Iranian women in hijabs all carrying sub-machine guns. Unconditional surrender huh?

Christine Karp's avatar

What demented idiot.

John Schwarzkopf's avatar

“The comment reflects the growing conviction inside and outside the Middle East that while the US and Israel could declare the war over at any time, Iran will have the final say about the duration of what the International Energy Agency has described as the most severe oil and gas supply disruptions ever.”

This clown car regime apparently has never learned that in war the enemy has a vote. Iran can cripple the world economy at very little financial cost to themselves.

Someone in the regime should have read The Art Of War.

colo-ski's avatar

poss correction, ( they cant read)

Important distinction. Thank you.

Ron, your picture of the Sugar Shack made me homesick for the East Coast.

Your picture of RFK Jr. just made me sick although it would make a perfect advertisement for celibacy. Ugh.

I did have to laugh at how much that photo does NOT look like Kennedy. The smooth facial skin was a dead giveaway, as were the non-squinty eyes. LOL

Camille Kelly's avatar

I just thought of that line from the Sopranos, that Tony's mother used to say..."I wish the Good Lord would just take me now."

Camille, reminds me of the famed quote attributed to Khrushchev: "The living will envy the dead," supposedly in the context of nuclear conflict (MAD).

Camille Kelly's avatar

I think about that a lot when I read about what it's like to go to one of those immigration detention centers.

Fuck that one eyed trumpsucker. Karma is a bitch.
