That evil look he gave Kristen. 👹 He struggled to stand, his feet are crooked. He berated her and then leaned on her for support to stand up straight to walk. A very disturbing scene. Are MAGAts convinced that he is mentally ill yet?

JohnC-Va's avatar

I watched the video clips leading up to his tantrum and exit. It’s like a switch went off in his head from how he acted in the first portion of the interview and you could practically see the venom spewing from that pie hole of his. He is insane, literally out of his fucking mind. Every answer to her ?’s was a lie, and the force with which he told them confirmed he is not of this world. That shit between his ears is seriously off the rails. He is living completely in a reality he has totally made up.

Suede67's avatar

I can't speak for anyone else but I think that, to be President, one has to be able to at least maintain a modicum of composure and that, as we've all seen many times from asshat before, is something he cannot do. With him it's always rage, moan, gripe, groan and rage some more. He is as far from stable as can get.

Merry's avatar

Particularly when he’s challenged by smart women.

Rob and Diana's avatar

And there you have it. Smart women shoving his lies up his ass, again.

A weak, pathetic, insecure, stupid little man.

Jim Devaney's avatar

And those are his "best" traits.

ramonaj's avatar

He is bat shit crazy. Always been mean-spirited and a grifter. The insanity of old age is showing up and increasing

Bob's avatar

Roy Cohn saw that mean streak and knew had a protege to mold. I’ve never seriously wished anyone dead, but the best thing for this country would the departure of Trump from his mortal coil.

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

You're so right on.

M Apodaca's avatar

He’s hurting old folks’ rep!

Suede67's avatar

No kidding, being challenged by smart women sets him off like nothing else. That burns him big time.

Jean Conley's avatar

Bingo, Merry! Just think of this--maybe (although of course, Bimbo would NEVER admit it) he got shook up and 'scared" because it him that Kristen is smarter than he is???? And OMG--a woman, at that!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

I miss having a "normal" president. You're so correct, he is unhinged.

Suede67's avatar

He really is. How so many didn't see this, or simply chose to ignore it, before voting for him still baffles me.

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

I'm certain it was rigged. I really don't think he got all those votes.

Suede67's avatar

I couldn't agree with you more.

Marcia Schnell's avatar

Consider the fact that he has the nuclear codes!🫣

Suede67's avatar

Yes, that's some scary shit.

Oaktown's avatar

He's done that all his life; it's just distilled now.

Raging out of control. Would not surprise me if he’s a step away from sending hitmen after the people he hates the most. He appears to be just that volatile. Walker is courageous to have pressed him with the critical questions.

Oaktown's avatar

Wouldn't surprise me if he's *already* sent hitmen after people he hates (or fears) the most, i.e. Epstein.

I’m often concerned about President Obama because trump literally HATES that Obama was elected POTUS, and because Barack so publicly mocked and humiliated him at the 2011 WHCD (which was absolutely hysterical, and BRILLIANTLY delivered!)

So I think Trump views Barack to be his worst nightmare, his arch-enemy, his most despised nemesis.

Patricia Anne Boone's avatar

Honestly, he needs to grow the fuck up.

Merry's avatar

😂 it might be a little late for that. But 8647 would work!

Oaktown's avatar

What makes it worse for KKK Donnie is that he's black, better educated, and infinitely smarter than Donnie Dumbo is.

Merry's avatar

Exactly. All that. And Barack is COOL! He’s hip, he’s fun, he’s extremely popular. And he’s got the moves. He’s comfortable in his own skin. Did you ever see this appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ show?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YqBlNvTNvLM

Jean Conley's avatar

That's a terrifying thought, but considering what he does to people he knows--and even those who Used to be his "allies," it wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Dr. Steven Quest's avatar

Oaktown's avatar

That's what I meant by "distilled."

ramonaj's avatar

Did I hear right. He has no plans to bring home Americans from Iran? Or who they even are? How about you spend Monday doing that and stay the hell out of NY. You troublemaking crusty curmudgeon

Trump - “You're either crooked or you're stupid. You know these elections are rigged. Your network knows they are rigged. Let's call it quits. Because I've had enough. Thank you darling. Welker: I traveled all the way to Wisconsin for this interview."

… Trump then unclipped his microphone, threw it on the ground, stepped on it and walked out.”

Geez, I still miss Tim Russert. He held everyone’s feet to the fire. He was the BEST.

And trump would NEVER have had the testicular fortitude to go toe to toe with Tim!

Oaktown's avatar

Me too!! Nobody has come close to Tim Russert since he passed on to a better place.

Merry's avatar
Jun 8Edited

Tim definitely set an extraordinarily high bar. Tough act to follow.

“ Tim Russert is widely considered one of the greatest television journalists in American history. During his 17-year tenure as the moderator of NBC's Meet the Press, he transformed the show into a premier destination for political discourse and a benchmark for holding public officials accountable.”

“Russert was famous for his exhaustive research. He would spend hours poring over the record to catch guests in contradictions, often playing old audio or video clips to test their consistency.”

“He was highly regarded for asking probing, hard-hitting questions without resorting to personal attacks or aggressive bullying. Powerful figures from both sides of the aisle viewed an appearance on Meet the Press as a rigorous, necessary rite of passage.”

“In 2008, TIME magazine named Russert one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World, writing that he was “among the most astute, discerning and relentless pursuers of truth in the nation.” (TIME, 2009)”

The Legacy of Tim Russert '72

Oaktown's avatar

Thanks for this. Made me tear up. What a colossal loss, and he was too young to go so suddenly. The keys to his greatness were his work ethic, exhaustive research, and low-key style of asking tough questions with a little bemused smile.

Scott Pelley's recent in-depth interview made me cry too. Really worth watching the entire interview. At one point he teared up and said he probably shouldn't do it because Fox would clip out that part and give him grief over it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePqdmbgQ4BI

"In his first sit-down interview since he was fired, Pelley told me about the specific incident he viewed as interference, about his experiences at CBS News over the past weeks and months, and about what he hopes will come of this very tumultuous time at the network where he spent most of his career."

RedRover's avatar

If anyone’s looking for a good cause to throw a few bucks at, the Tim Russert Department of Communications at John Carroll University is a great one. It includes student-run radio station WJCU, which has won international awards recently.

That condescending "darling" he called her, with the pat on her arm. 🤬🤬🤬🤬

After Bibi reminds Donnie Pedo of all the dirt the Mossad has on him.

Tracy Giddings's avatar

And this is just ONE of the ways Epstein is tied to trump, the dirt Epstein gave to Israel on him. Epstein is known to be a spy for Israel. The reporting about New Mexico, Zorro Ranch and the people involved (outside of the CSA - or maybe in conjunction to it), has been interesting in how far back it goes with Israel spying on our Nuke programs and collecting compromising details on important people.

Oaktown's avatar

And don't forget how Epstein let Ehud Barak stay in his place, which Barak only did after he had Israeli surveillance set up: https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2026/2/19/israel-installed-security-at-epsteins-manhattan-apartment-for-ex-pm-barak

"The Israeli government installed security equipment and controlled access to a Manhattan apartment building managed by the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, according to an investigation published by Drop Site News.

"Based on a tranche of emails recently released by the United States Department of Justice, the report detailed how Israeli officials coordinated directly with Epstein’s staff starting in early 2016 to secure a residence at 301 East 66th Street. Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak frequently used the apartment for extended stays.

"While the property was technically owned by a company linked to Epstein’s brother, Mark Epstein, the disgraced financier essentially controlled it."

Oaktown's avatar

Waiting to see what Donnie Snowflake does to her now. Expecting another bogus lawsuit, but NBC better fight it; all they have to do is demand he sit for a deposition and he'll fold like an old rug.

Here’s hoping that all of the Knicks fans at MSG on Monday will start booing Trump loudly and chanting “pedophile protector” and not stop until his fat smelly ass leaves the arena!

LHS's avatar

I'm sure fans are smokin' mad that they cancelled the watch parties outside Madison Square Garden for security reasons.

Old Uncle Dave's avatar

The fans who paid big bucks for tickets are going to be righteously pissed off at standing on line for an hour or more to get through security.

Wendy B.'s avatar

Replace watch party with protest?

Old Uncle Dave's avatar

The NY fans don't like Dolan one bit.

ramonaj's avatar

Right now neither do I. I am just a super fan. Love basketball. Love the Knicks. So know... this is going to be one more thing this BS brings into my life. I wish it would all just STOP.

LHS's avatar

With the way he is crossing women and Black service people off promotion lists, I would not be surprised if the various Armed Forces start having major recruitment problems. Suel J's avatar

More Bullshit from Hegseth. If only he could understand the contempt people hold for him.

Oaktown's avatar

Fox host Laura Ingraham: “If mail-in ballots are so cool and great, why is it mostly Democrats? “

If mail-in ballots are not so cool and great then why is your boy—Commander in Cheat—mailing in his?

Old Uncle Dave's avatar

Historically, Republicans supported mail ballots. Only after trump blamed his 2020 loss on them did they change their position.

ramonaj's avatar

Why don't they just count the mail in ballots as they arrive. ? CHANGE the rule. Can't someone keep track. So stupid to do this. Mail in works. The counting part is the issue. Things need to change to solve these issues

Old Uncle Dave's avatar

Here in Mendocino County they do that. Once I took my ballot to the elections office and stood there and watched the lady open it, check the signature, and run it through the counting scanner.

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

San Diego county counts as they come in too.

ramonaj's avatar

That sounds reasonable. Just count them and add them to the count on election day.

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

It depends on the county. Most counties count the mail-in ballots as they come in. My county (San Diego county) did. LA county is the largest county and the most populous.

Oaktown's avatar

I've wondered about that too, but thought it might be because they don't want any leaks getting out about who's ahead before election day.

Oaktown's avatar

Yeah, and Utah is very red and *was* 100% mail in ballots. Now they're sticking their heads up Donnie's backside and changing it: https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/5217722-spencer-cox-utah-abandon-universal-vote-by-mail/

"Utah Gov. Spencer Cox (R) has signed legislation that will end the state’s universal vote-by-mail system and instead require registered voters to sign up if they want to cast their ballots by mail after 2028.

"Under the new law, which the GOP-controlled state Legislature passed earlier this month, counties will no longer send mail-in ballots to all voters on their rolls beginning in 2029.

"Voters in Utah will have the option to sign up online to receive mail-in ballots, or they can make the selection at the time they register to vote, when they show up to cast their ballot at a polling location or when they obtain or renew driver’s licenses and identification cards. The mail ballot option will remain active for eight years if voters cast ballots in all regular elections during that period."

Old Uncle Dave's avatar

For years I voted with an absentee ballot every election. Then the precinct I'm in went to all mail voting because they couldn't afford to hire poll workers.

Marlene Lerner-Bigley (CA)'s avatar

How utterly ridiculous is this idea? Well, Utah will find out and boy, the people there will be pissed!

Bad enough that universities and law firms are kowtowing to Trump. But the American Diabetes Association? Tossing prominent researchers out of the annual conference? I have no words. The blowback has been pretty intense, as you might expect.

Protect the Vote's avatar

If You’re A Republican You’re A Bigoted Racist

The Republican SCOTUS has undone 6 decades of creating a political environment of the democratic ideal of all men are created equal. First this undemocratic SCOTUS decided DEI was undemocratic to begin dismantle minority representation.

Now this Republican partisan SCOTUS which has been for decades waiting for the chance to get rid of Section 2 of the VRA finally has gotten it done in order to support racial gerrymandering declaring that racism is no longer a problem in America. In actuality what they are really saying is that the white man is getting screwed and the political playing field needs to be dominated by white people.

In so doing the Republican party has shown their true identity as a longstanding bigoted racist group of Confederates who believe that slaveowners were appropriate in denying AfroAmericans the right to representation in a democracy ie all men are not created equally. But WE the People should decide on our representatives not only in Congress but in state offices as well.

If one identifies with the Republican party at this point in time let’s be frank, you’ve identified with the bigoted racist Confederacy.

Oaktown's avatar

"In actuality what they are really saying is that the white man is getting screwed and the political playing field needs to be leveled."

Correction: In that sentence the last word(s) should not be "leveled" but rather "skewed for white people."

Wendy B.'s avatar

White MEN. It's the party of WHITE MALE SUPREMACY. They believe that white men should get an advantage in everything. They don't consider women to even be humans, just breeding livestock and toilet cleaners.
