Pete Hegseth: “I would say one key difference you’ve got to point out between this agreement and others is this was born of strength." NO, Kegseth, it was born of Stupidity and Ego, lack of preparation, lack of adhering to all of the military experts. As a retired History/Government instructor I look forward to 20 years from now when we (I hope) teach our students how such a colossal blunder was permitted to happen and how it led to them living in a less secure world.

Taffy1764's avatar

Oh my, that was the comment I was going to comment on. Hegseth is the biggest joke of a man. God be with the women in his life.

Wendy Shelley's avatar

The women in his life, except for his enlightened mother, deserve what they got — and it ain’t good!

Deb Chrystal's avatar

Indeed Kegsbreath is every bit as delusional and dangerous as the convicted felon!!

Vikki's avatar

Possibly more dangerous because shady Vance is a snake. Turns on a dime. Wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him. And, for the likes of MTG, Carson, Rogan, et al, they're exactly the same. Just abhorrent and evil.

Mike's avatar

Hegseth. Another trump loser who has no grasp on reality. ‘Yes Mr. President! Whatever you say, sir!’

Nancy Endersby's avatar

I agree Mike. I totally think he really believes he is on some kind of a “ Reality Show”.

Paul Kaufman's avatar

Welcome back Ron. I hope you had a successful move. You have been missed.

LHS's avatar

Yes! I was experiencing serious Today In Politics withdrawal! 😃

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

Yes, welcome back! We missed you! 🫶🏼

Linda Harris's avatar

Joanne, I know you frequent Meidas so I want to ask you: did I miss the 5 question episode with Ron and another? or wasn't there one this week. Thanks

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

I don't think there was one this week, Linda. It is usually on Wednesday's but he just came back today from a long weekend moving house. I think that'll resume next Wednesday?

CSmith's avatar

It’s actually on Mondays now and it’s called Ask-the-Editor-in-Chief with Ron and now Pablo Manriquez and, no, it was not done this past Monday. Wednesdays is when the Uncovered podcast is at 4:00 with Ron and Anthony Davis.

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

LMAO! Hillary Clinton was busting a gut over the "peace prize" crack. 🤣

Robin D's avatar

I love this new picture.of them laughing together, just like I love.the old one.from years ago used as a meme..

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

It's nice to see smiling and laughing in these rough times.

Laurie Ryan's avatar

I saved it to my camera roll.

Robin D's avatar

I saved a copy too!

It's glorious Sophia. What a circus freak show.

Wendy Shelley's avatar

I feel sorry for the birds that might die from being in chemicals they can’t tolerate. Horrid situation made worse by Felon!

Sophia's avatar

Me too 😕

If I was a duck's avatar

All you can do is laugh at this point. Every day is " what's he gonna fuck up this time".

Robin D's avatar

😂😂😂

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

Well done, Ukraine! Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦

Paul Kaufman's avatar

The paragraph about Vance singing Trump’s praises is remarkable for the number of lies squeezed into such a small space. And the absolute absence of any truth…..

LHS's avatar

And when I read that JD said Trump reads a lot, I burst out laughing. Yeah, those Big Mac wrappers say McDonald's on them. That counts as reading, right? 🤣

Robin D's avatar

Cereal.boxes too.

Old Uncle Dave's avatar

All that was missing is, "The president's new clothes are the finest in all the land."

ramonaj's avatar

And he smells like a field of lavender and roses 🙄

Mika Anderson's avatar

Yes, did you hear him pass gas in his interview yesterday at the G7? He's so disgusting 🤮

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

I didn't hear it but Ben said he was farting. He also said he was farting today at the medal ceremony. He's so nasty. 💨😷

Deborah Hunter's avatar

If he's wearing diapers, he's obviously lost sphincter control.

ramonaj's avatar

I agree. What a crock of S"!t Paul

Jerri Peake's avatar

I thought I was going to throw up. How does he repeat such crap and keep a straight face? I wonder if he goes straight to confession afterwards?

Deborah Hunter's avatar

He's the most pathetic Catholic I've ever heard of.

Sue Martin's avatar

Obsequiousness on steroids. Give me a bucket...🤢

Ann Marie's avatar

You mean he doesn’t have the IQ of a genius?

Greg's avatar

Yep, we finally had some intelligence and class coming out of the U.S. today! Of course, it came from Chicago, not from any of the slugs in Washington. Guess we all know who the 'stupid son-of-a-bitch' really is, don't we?

Paul Kaufman's avatar

Why didn’t Trump just inject the reflecting pool with bleach?

Old Man's avatar

Saving it in case covid explodes again?

Digispeaker's avatar

Or Diet Coke. Trump believes that Diet Coke kills weeds which means (in his tiny brain) probably kills cancer cells. Dolt.

If I was a duck's avatar

Or stick a light in it?

Deborah Hunter's avatar

We used bleach to try and get our pool clear one Spring when we opened it back up. We use hydrogen peroxide in the hospital to clean up blood. It foams on contact with blood. We never use it as a cleaner.

colo-ski's avatar

The Blue paint is now lifting, dems should be screaming this on EVERY news channel....but they wont.

Ellen McKenzie's avatar

Yes. They should. Anyone for a swim?

Declan's avatar

Colo means they will not make an ad that exhibits VISIBLE damage that the regime had done. Cause they are The Stupid Party. Any hard hitting ads will be shelved to discuss some effing obscure policy proposal. The f*cking idiot Democrats WANT to lose. Then they don't have the responsibility of cleaning the mess right????

JohnC-Va's avatar

Only these fuck-ups, these monumentally stupid idiotic fuck-ups, would pour paint remover on a newly painted surface. I can’t over how stupid these morons are.

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

The wildlife though 😭😭

Julie Lawson's avatar

Our loser president is still a loser. He strips anything he comes across and steals whatever is valuable and then spends everyone else’s money. I can’t wait until he gets taken out of office so he can quit sucking our country dry.

Digispeaker's avatar

Trump treats the US Treasury like his personal checking account.

Old Uncle Dave's avatar

Ted Cruz's claim "the president is getting very poor advice" is an attempt to shift blame for this fiasco away from trump when it's common knowledge trump doesn't take advice from anyone. He's surrounded himself with sycophants who applaud his every decision, no matter how boneheaded. .

Old Man's avatar

The Cruz comment sets up drunkard petey to take the fall. Yes trump never takes advice but always finds someone to take the blame. My bet the drunk doesn't make it to July 4

bLUEduRham's avatar

He stole that line from wimpy, lying Tillis.

Susan DuBois's avatar

Blame also would fall on the Senate Republicans, who confirmed the disastrous cabinet members from whom Trump could be getting advice.

Old Uncle Dave's avatar

The Senate Republicans could have prevented all this by convicting him when he was impeached. I bet a lot of them now wish they had.

Declan's avatar

Cruise wife got bad advice when she decided to marry him.. What an effing loser

Deborah Hunter's avatar

Telling Ted to keep breathing oxygen is very poor advice. Rick Wilson today referred to him as Ted (Wolverine) Cruz. lol. lol.

Paul Kaufman's avatar

Beautiful heart pine floors!

Carol Gamm's avatar

Thanks for the discussions. If Senate Republicans don’t like what Trump is doing, it’s a little too late in the day. They have supported or tolerated every disastrous thing he has done. No one can be shocked that they accept no responsibility for the disasters they helped to create. This includes: supporting the destruction of the JCPOA, not calling out the Trump economic disasters, supporting the confirmation of unqualified people like Hegseth and Gabbard, planning to take away voting rights in this year’s elections, prosecuting people who disagree Trump. When Trump went after Republicans who disagreed with him, they didn’t say a word.

Taffy1764's avatar

It’s those same people who he will blame for every atrocity and failure too. I so love that for them

Carol Gamm's avatar

Let’s see who gets to take the fall.

Old Uncle Dave's avatar

Either Vance or Hegseth and since he can't fire Vance, probably G.I. Joke.

Deborah Hunter's avatar

He's setting Vance up though, for the fall. It's coming.

Digispeaker's avatar

Thune is so spineless he can't make a decision, knows nothing and waits to be told what to do by the White House. Weakling.

CSmith's avatar

Well, I choose to not comment on all the negative news because I’m still with the very positive wonderful vibes from the Obama ceremony today!!!❤️❤️❤️. Michelle and Barack’s speeches were wonderful, but Michelle’s was beautiful, inspirational and absolute fire 🔥. I went through five tissues listening to it … because …I…MISS…THEM…SO…MUCH!!! Wonderful musical 🎶🎶entertainment also and yes, the Nobel Peace Prize comment and Hillary’s face was hysterical. Welcome back, Ron, I/We missed you too!!! What beautiful floors you have and congrats on your new home!!! Thanks for the bulletin!!!

Right there with you!! Loved every minute, laughed cried and danced to the great music!!!

CSmith's avatar

It was like getting a spa day, so rejuvenating, especially in light of what’s going on right now. And to see the former wonderful presidents together…I especially love how close they are with George and Laura Bush, that warms my heart❤️ and the music was great!!! Stevie Wonder and everyone together was pure fire!!! 🔥🎶🎶🎶

Mia's avatar

Oh what a perfect description! Yes it has been like a spa day!!! I agree with you on enjoying seeing the closeness they share with the Bushes. George is so cute with Michelle!

colo-ski's avatar

Thanks TED and when us citizens are killed we will BLAME YOU AND YOUR refuklican loser buddies

LHS's avatar

"the president is getting very poor advice when it comes to this deal". He can't even bring himself to directly criticize Trump! He has to blame some nameless advisors that even if they did advise Trump, he would ignore them. Newsflash, Ted: This is all on Trump! Grow a spine, willya?

Line stolen from tillis, another jackass.

Stupid Old White Hippie's avatar

Perhaps Senator Cruz left his memory in Mexico, but the country that supplied most of the 9/11 terrorists who killed over 3,000 Americans on our soil was our current besty ally Saudi Arabia, not Iran.
