Roberts has made killing the voting rights act his personal crusade, based on his absurd assertion that racism is no longer a real issue in the USA. Discrimination based on race/color/ethnicity is very much still alive in the USA, just as sex discrimination is. This assertion that racial bias is no longer a factor that adversely affects minorities in significant ways is not supported by any credible science. It’s just another way to avoid acknowledging the very real barriers that still affect our minorities. White privilege still reigns in many ways. How pathetic and dishonest the 6 justices are who approved this outrageous decision. The USA will not ever be what it should be until all citizens have equal access to education, employment, and voting.
If we look at the inheritance of wealth from white families it translates to a step up for each generation. This country has a 250 year effort to keep all wealth from black Americans. Not to mention the very real effort to break up black families by putting the male bread winner in jail for the least infraction of the law.
Always remember, he who laughs last laughs best! Statical predictions indicate that black & brown Americans will become the majority in 2045. Do the math, that is just 19 years!
