This is the absolute truth. The bulk of his followers are uneducated with college degrees. The ones that have higher education or military experience are the ones I can not understand unless they are basically followers not leaders in nature.

I think you've hit on it: they're more of the follower type. The military is a huge group; groupthink can certainly lead to cult like behavior. Then there are the church people who are strongly influenced by their pastors. Some of these people are influenced by both groups. There are the ones who are educated but do not follow through on their critical thinking. I fell into that group for a long time. No more.

I know a number of very religious, well-meaning and well-educated people who are MAGA. They're not bigoted in the slightest. To say that "All" MAGA have a tendency to be bigoted is a hasty generalization. IMHO they've been swept up in the cult of t-Rump. And now thanks to the Epstein files many of them have more than a few regrets.

And it also extremely dangerous!

I’m currently watching a movie on Netflix titled Number 24. It’s how the Nazi regime invaded Norway, and it has sent a chill up my spine because it feels, looks, sounds like what we’re witnessing today, in the UNITED STATES of AMERICA.

It’s also an inspirational movie because it proves how the actions of a few committed people can alter the course of history…”based on a true story of a young Norwegian man's drive to resist the Nazis sets a new course for his future – and the future of his country. Sjur Vatne Brean and Erik Hivju portray Norwegian war hero Gunnar Sønsteby at different chapters of his celebrated life.”

Do we believe it can’t happen here? Well, we’re already watching it in real time, right now.

If we sit by, passively, and let trump’s subversive behavior continue without question, believing it will pass, we could wake up some morning in a country that we no longer recognize. Or we can be Number 24.

I strongly believe in the idea, the ideals, the values of America. Many of us were born and raised here. Let’s not take it for granted. We’re a nation that’s worth protecting and fighting for.

Yes, the movie is eerily similar, even a prelude to what we’re currently witnessing, except Norway was being invaded by the German reich and the US is being invaded by the trump reich.

That phrase, give me liberty or give me death” was a slogan used by the Norwegian resistance in their efforts to defend their homeland against the German Nazi invasion during WW2.

And then, as you likely know, it was also used by Patrick Henry in 1775 during the revolutionary war against the occupancy of British troops.

So you can take that up with them! 😏

"There is something way bigger going on that you can almost literally divide everyone in the entire world into an 'us vs them' mentality on almost every single subject." -Gregory Prevensilk

The media - both news and entertainment - have now politicized nearly everything in our society as an extremely powerful mechanism of control.

Politicization is so effective at manipulating the populace because most people emotionally connect their personal belief system to the belief system of their political party, and so then any attack on their party - legitimate or otherwise - is interpreted by their brain as an attack on themselves. Reason and logic then jump out the nearest window as raw emotion takes the helm, thus making them even more susceptible to the predatory controlling influences.

This is an extremely damaging and misfortunate exploit of human nature. Worse, this exploit is as easy to execute as flipping a light switch for the majority of the population - and it is currently being employed to its maximum effect.
