Trump Has Monday Meltdown as GOP Bill Faces Backlash
His lies are unraveling and the world is watching as he pushes his unpopular budget bill

Donald Trump is having a full-blown meltdown, and it's only Monday. I mean, the man is ranting and raving on social media like a lunatic. His “big beautiful” budget bill? It’s polling at minus 29 in some surveys. Minus. That’s the worst I’ve ever seen. And Trump’s own approval ratings? Hitting historic lows. The lowest of any modern president, ever.
So what does Trump do? He lashes out at Forbes magazine. Yes, Forbes, because one of their reporters dared to write something critical of him. You’d think someone who claims “nobody reads Forbes anymore” wouldn’t be so obsessed, but that’s Trump. Screaming into the void about a writer “who probably can’t get a meaningful job in business” while he himself is facing 91 felony counts. Projection much?
He’s throwing tantrums about the media, wishing entire publications were “dead” (because that’s normal presidential behavior), and posting unhinged cartoons of himself dumping French fries to try to sell his billionaire tax cut bill. I wish I were making that up. Meanwhile, the bill he's pushing would rip Medicaid away from 15 million Americans, gut food assistance, slash education funding, and give handouts to the ultra-wealthy.
Oh, and while the rest of the world is preparing for the World Cup, British Columbia's Premier is basically saying, “Hey FIFA, if the U.S. spirals into chaos under Trump again, we’ll take your games.” Think about how embarrassing that is. Other countries are openly planning for America to be too unstable to host an international event because of Trump. That’s how far we’ve fallen in the eyes of the world.
Let me be very clear: This isn’t about left vs. right. It’s about sanity vs. chaos. Trump and his MAGA goons are pushing a budget bill built on lies and cruelty, claiming it “helps working people” while cutting their benefits and calling them lazy freeloaders. They’re gaslighting the public, blaming the poor for fraud while their billionaire donors laugh all the way to the bank.

The fact that the Republicans don't give a damn about public opinion tells me that they think they will find a way to steal or outright cancel the midterms. They are behaving like people who know they will never have to run for office again, and that is fucking terrifying.
