It was so good to reconnect with Jon and Evan and have this important conversation. Both Bush’s war in Iraq and Trump’s war with Iran were both sold on lies about WMD. Trump’s war with Iran won’t end well, and we’re already paying for it. This country is +$39T in debt and burning +$1B per day on this reckless misadventure. War is such a waste.

Yes, was is so bad in so many ways. Made by men who have no skin in the game. Maybe if Baron went to war things might be different…

why would he learn? he did not with his first bankruptcy.

First you have to have a brain to learn anything, the DEMON was born without one!!

Mary York's avatar

Are you kidding me? The man never bothered to learn American History nor Civics. This is no surprise.

He read mein kamph and nazi history but failed to read how it ended

This is once again a terrifying example of how utterly unqualified this man is to be president. When you’re as intellectually lazy as he is, when you believe erroneously that you know more about everything than anybody else, when you reject other people’s advice and opinions if they don’t agree with your own and when you insist that the best way to make decisions is on “gut feelings“, you’re always going to be the dumbest person in the room. And that’s what he is. As he blindly stumbles making decisions that he’s completely ill-equipped to make we as Americans will pay the price and it’s going to be high.

Joe Plenzler's avatar

Yep. The price for bad strategy is the loss of American (and civilian lives) and a tremendous waste of taxpayer dollars. What could we be doing to improve the lives of Americans back home with all that money being wasted?

Trump learned nothing from the Iraq war because he was busy r*ping little girls and nothing was done about it...And I'm not convinced anything ever will.

I STILL want to see all the Epstein Files released!

He won't and he'll never see justice. Only the grim reaper can save us from him now.

We have a madman at the helm. He is sailing us all into disaster as mindless lackeys and power mongers keep him hermetically sealed in the bubble of his narcissism and ignorance. They know that absolute loyalty is demanded. Whoever does not profess total obedience is immediately thrown overboard. They continue to choose to pamper the man-child rather than suffer exile by insisting, for example, that Trump understand the grave repercussions that an Iranian blockade of the Strait of Hormuz would pose, a critical geopolitical risk known for decades.

Joe Plenzler's avatar

Indeed. And now so many Americans, who don’t normally pay attention to world affairs, are wondering why are things so damned expensive at the pump? …the price to be paid for electing a terrible human to lead the US.

MY FATHER WAS KILLED IN NAM. He was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor and a Silver Star. His name was Bruce Alan Grandstaff. Please put his name in internet. There are pages about him. I am lost in this war…

This is a US/Israel war. With a question whether the tail is wagging the dog. Reporting is that Israel manipulated Trump into war, is now expanding the war into Lebanon and is deciding the targets to hit. And the conversation all but ignores Israel’s role???

Joe Plenzler's avatar

Yep. Regardless, the buck stops with the President of the United States. It was Trump’s call to lead the US into this war, and now the world is suffering.

As a Canadian, I WOULD MUCH RATHER TRADE WITH THE U.S., unfortunately that relationship no longer exists with the TRUMP REGIME.

Joe Plenzler's avatar

I am so sorry for this. I have many Canadian friends. Know many of us are working to change things here.

Thank you so much!!!! I'm truly praying for you, your family, your community, and your Country!!!! 🙏 God bless!!

In a way, it serves the Americans right for re-electing someone who led an insurrection years ago on January 6th that will forever be a stain on our nation's history. Trump lies like he breathes. And is the absolute worst president in the history of the United States. That said, people voted for this. So as the saying goes, given the Trump war on iran, rising prices for food, gasoline, and many other things, "you've made your bed, Americans, now go sleep in it." Sincerely, David Morris, who was born many years ago in Fort Wayne Indiana.

What in the world is happening to our country? I am so forlorn about the state of America…

This empty shell of a person is only concerned about anyone or anything else if he can use them to benefit himself or make money off them!

patricia montague's avatar

Trying to rationalize trumps actions (no decisions) is as crazy as him. Please STOP. He has flunked the Presidential test and therefore needs to be expelled. THAT makes sense. Please do not legitimize the war criminals.

Joe Plenzler's avatar

Um….watch the podcast please. You’ll see we are pointing out Trump’s enormous strategic failings.

The USA is damaged for, who knows how long. Can any other country believe that we work put another moron in charge every other 4 years.

Joe Plenzler's avatar

It’s going to take at least a decade to repair all the damage he is doing. Maybe two.

Carole Langston's avatar

I won't see it, I'm sure.

Carole Langston's avatar

WON'T put another moron. Damn corrections.

Learning involves a broad interest and a degree of willingness to accept other people’s wisdom. Trump is incapable of learning.

It appears so.
