Too bad TMobile just partnered with Starlink. They are being pretty quiet about it, but I heard it from Scott Galloway. When I called TMobile to voice my complaint, they didn’t deny it.
I was looking to combine my husband's and my cell phone companies (he didn't change his when he left his job) for a better price, which T-Mobile had, then I saw that. At the moment, it appears that it might be an optional thing, because what I saw was some patter about it, but then how it would cost $15 extra a month or something like that. Yes, it did make me think about sticking with Verizon but not going to AT&T (for various reasons), but then I saw something that said AT&T and Verizon either can already or will soon be able to access Starling as well. If it's something people pay more for just so they can have what they perceive to be the most fancy-ass connection out there, fine, but I sure hope it won't become what they all default to. I don't want to be part of his attempt to control the world. I suppose we could try Consumer Cellular or Mint Mobile, but I have no idea how good their coverage is.
Somebody needs to get that nasty man's little fingers out of everything American--everything everywhere, as far as I'm concerned. Send him back to running his failing car company and social media cesspool.
I've had Consumer Cellular for years & never had an issue - but i am not a big phone user so others might not be so positive - altho I think they actually use AT&T's sysem anyway. I have no idea about Mint, but that might also be a sysatem tied to one of the 'biggies ' like AT&T - after all if they can use existing systems via a paid constract they don't have to build anything new !!!

When I talked to someone at T-Mobile last month, they were offering a new phone for him and one at half price for me. Now it doesn't appear as if they're offering anything nearly that good. Once we're both in better health, we'll be able to go out and look some place in person, but it's maddening to have to play game with all of this. Don't even get me started on ISPs.

My company has used Verizon for years. It's easy to drop other carriers. It's easy to drop Target and Amazon too.
Not so easy to drop/switch carriers in rural areas.
I have never shopped at Target and I dropped my Amazon subscription to Prime.
