While Donald Trump lounged on Long Island this weekend, watching golf at the Ryder Cup on our dime, he gave one of the most grotesque and authoritarian orders of his so-called presidency: he directed the United States military to invade Portland, Oregon. Let’s call it what it is—a military invasion of an American city, ordered with the explicit authority to use “full force” against our fellow citizens. In other words, Donald Trump authorized the military to kill Americans.
Still think calling this a dictatorship is hyperbolic?
Trump justified his invasion by claiming Portland is “War ravaged,” parroting the absurd lie that Antifa has taken over the city. He even referred to Pete Hegseth as his “Secretary of War,” a title that doesn’t exist in modern America because we’re not supposed to be a fascist dictatorship. But Trump doesn’t care about the Constitution, and he doesn’t care about the law. He wants a pretext for violence. And his loyalists at ICE have been manufacturing it for months.
We’ve shown you footage of ICE agents shoving peaceful protesters into walls, brutalizing fathers in their cars in front of crying children, and detaining men near Portland elementary schools without identifying themselves. This is how you manufacture chaos—provoke communities, spark resistance, and then scream “terrorism” so you can unleash the military. That’s the Trump playbook. Incite violence, then claim you’re the only one who can stop it.
It doesn’t stop in Portland. Trump’s Department of Homeland Security is pushing lie after lie to justify his authoritarian overreach. They claimed two immigrants who supposedly gained citizenship under Biden were behind a shooting at a youth baseball field in Texas. In reality, it was stray gunfire from recreational shooters in a state with virtually no gun regulation. They tried to sell a hoax about a MAGA-hat-wearing teenager abducted by “Hispanic men” in Florida. It turned out to be a child with a firearm in his father’s home. The entire story was made up. A total lie.
Every time the facts come out, the story is the same: lax gun laws, incompetence, and lies from MAGA officials. But instead of fixing the actual problems, Trump invents enemies and scapegoats immigrants, Democrats, and anyone who dares to stand in his way.

While Trump terrorizes Portland, his cronies are cashing in. His envoy to Russia is entangled in shady crypto ventures backed by foreign money. His family is hawking Trump vodka, Trump meme coins, and even sweatshirts with his granddaughter’s name plastered across them, using the White House as a backdrop. They ripped up the Rose Garden and turned it into a “members-only club.” This is kleptocracy on steroids.
Meanwhile, farmers are getting thrown under the bus. Everyday Americans are drowning under inflation, rent, and mortgage payments. And Trump is bragging about UFC fights and golf tournaments. This isn’t governance. This is a mafia family using the machinery of the U.S. government to enrich themselves while they trample on our freedoms.
Trump’s “Secretary of War” Pete Hegseth even bragged that soldiers who slaughtered Native women and children at Wounded Knee would keep their medals. That tells you everything you need to know. This regime is guided by one principle: white supremacy. If white people committed atrocities, they’re celebrated. If immigrants or people of color simply exist, they’re demonized. This is fascism draped in the American flag and a cross.
Senator Elissa Slotkin exposed the truth when she pressed Hegseth in a hearing: had he authorized troops to arrest or shoot at U.S. citizens? He ducked, dodged, and smirked his way through the questioning, but the implication was clear. This regime is willing to use the U.S. military against its own people.
And let’s not forget this is the same Trump who demanded his defense secretary shoot protesters in the legs, a demand that was thankfully rejected. But now, surrounded by loyalists with no spine and no principles, Trump is finally getting his wish.
As if invading Portland weren’t enough, Trump’s handpicked lackey Lindsey Halligan, his personal attorney turned U.S. Attorney, just botched the indictment of James Comey so badly that even the magistrate judge couldn’t make sense of it. Two conflicting indictments, both signed by the same grand jury foreperson. Nobody knows which is valid, or if the grand jury even understood what they were signing.
This is chaos. This is corruption. This is the Trump regime in action. Sloppy, lawless, and dangerous.
So while Donald Trump enjoying golf, Americans are being targeted, communities are being invaded, and our democracy is under siege. But let me tell you this: we will not cower. We will not be silenced. Every day, we will call out this fascism. Every day, we will fight back with the truth.
Because the real America is not Trump’s America. The real America is found in the Portland pastors standing arm-in-arm with immigrant families. It’s in the protesters who refuse to be provoked into violence. It’s in the millions of you who refuse to let this country slide into dictatorship.
Trump wants you to give up. He wants you to be afraid. But as I’ve said before: fear is the tool of the tyrant. And we will not live on our knees.
