When the story broke it was a very big deal because of National Security and what it revealed about the people in charge. I had a sense that there was blood in the water and the Republican defense hawks will get into a frenzy over correcting this. It might still happen. What was revealed was so dramatic and made it scary these are the people in charge. They revealed so much of their character on video and in the texts.
Now it is a week later and to the degree it is an issue, it is about the apps and phones and whether laws were broken, etc. Not the headline: these people don’t make us safe.
The regime is following the playbook of the 1930’s. It’s not a problem for many people, but even they don’t want a World War. Especially one we aren’t going to win.
IMO we need to move National Security

I agree that, in our conversations with Trump voters, THIS is the moment to indeed focus on Signalgate only. Polls show that two thirds among them are worried about it and seem to for once not spontaneously gobble up what state media are trying to falsely make them believe about it (also because, for once, the GOP propaganda machine is divided and not sending out the same message). So yes, whenever we're talking with them, we should absolutely focus on national security.

When the story broke it was a very big deal because of National Security and what it revealed about the people in charge. I had a sense that there was blood in the water and the Republican defense hawks will get into a frenzy over correcting this. It might still happen. What was revealed was so dramatic and made it scary these are the people in charge. They revealed so much of their character on video and in the texts.
Now it is a week later and to the degree it is an issue, it is about the apps and phones and whether laws were broken, etc. Not the headline: these people don’t make us safe.
The regime is following the playbook of the 1930’s. It’s not a problem for many people, but even they don’t want a World War. Especially one we aren’t going to win.

I agree that, in our conversations with Trump voters, THIS is the moment to indeed focus on Signalgate only. Polls show that two thirds among them are worried about it and seem to for once not spontaneously gobble up what state media are trying to falsely make them believe about it (also because, for once, the GOP propaganda machine is divided and not sending out the same message). So yes, whenever we're talking with them, we should absolutely focus on national security.
But MTN isn't exactly a place where many Trump voters go to. It's a place where pro-democracy citizens go to to be as informed as possible about everything that is going on, so that we can fight back on all levels at once. The attacks on the media are at least as concerning as the national security breaches, from the perspective of fighting back against fascism.

Since Project 2025 was widely unpopular last summer when trump disavowed any knowledge of it or its creators, why don’t you have a daily update on trump policies that align with Project 2025 goals. People will see that the P2025 folks are setting the trump agenda and they will not like that. The closer you can demonstrate the symbiosis between P2025 and trump the worse trump will look.
