The Supreme Court is absolutely compromised. If it was not unanimous, they are absolutely compromised.

Oh I agree 💯, Justice Alito and Justice Thomas, big time ethical concerns 👍🏼

Kavanaugh is part of the bunch of corrupt justices too.

Don't forget Gorsuch. The four of them are ethically questionable (the appearance of impropriety) at best; obviously corrupt at worst (actually improper). Roberts and Barrett are part of the group, too, just not as in-your-face with it. I say expand the court and set term limits. The Constitution allows Congress to do it.

Clarence “Uncle” Thomas was appointed by George HW Bush. Alito was appointed by W Bush. This helps expand lain why these two are very weird.

They have zero credibility nowadays. Where we once looked to them to uphold The Constitution and the laws of the land, sadly, that is no longer the case. What a sad and pathetic state of affairs they've put themselves in.

The viciousness of the GOP is beginning to show and wear thin on Americans who want them to focus on kitchen table issue and not on their vitriol. They are fighting in cabinet meetings with Musk, over his overruling their authorities. They are also going after Justice Barrett and Chief Justice Roberts, after she and he concluded that the administration must release the congress-appropriated funds that Musk froze. The Supreme Court thinkers voted with their heads and the others voted with their party’s preference. Hopefully, these two will continue to think about their votes, rather than bend the knee to Trump et al.

Thank you for all you do on Meidasplus Ben.

What he said about peace in Ukraine was a lie designed to tickle the ears of his supporters. There was not then, nor is there now, a definitive effort to support Ukraine and help them achieve peace. We see that in the "attack on President Zelensky which was staged to drum up even more support from his cult members.

what is especially unnerving is everything is a moving target so there is no way to follow most of it as it changes moment to moment and over time sources of information will whittle down to the size of the head of a pin -- cruelty and sheer evil that must be stopped -- we have already run out time -- why wasn't there a plan within Congress to stop it at the door -- Project 2025 is a published document that has been available for years -- where they just betting an hoping to never need to address and block what was right there in black and white before them -- all of them cowards -- all of the culpable as are we in my view for not pouncing on the Democrats and for literally every one of us not even reading the damn document -- I'm still hopeful very confident we will prevail

Expand full comment
Ed Garland's avatar

Yes, I agree. The pushback against the moving target is here with MTN and The Meidas Mighty. This is the [only] place we come for the truth. MSM is dead to us. They're circling the drain as they continue to serve the most unqualified person to ever sit in the Oval Office.

MSM is a joke and the official "cleanup crew" for trying to normalize the hellish things Trump says and does. He does not do well in the areas of reading and comprehension--and it's been alleged he paid someone to take his SAT. His score is "unknown."

ITSNOTSAFE's avatar

Absolutely -- no interest and it is mind boggling -- even people whom you would assume by nature of their education or line of work for example would not just "accept" what they are told and follow the leader blindly over a cliff -- one thing that confuses me is that although all I have read shows there are not thousands of social security checks going out to people age 150 today a social worker educated and in every other way seems he would not parrot this falsehood said to me today -- "you know thousands of checks are going out to people age 150?" I just took a pass and said,

"I follow politics and able to see both side of every issue."

I left it like that leaving unsaid what was in my mind,

"However, based on my own digging for as much info as I can gather on any given issue and fact checking I don't agree with both sides of these issues especially that one about social security."

Please what would anyone here have said in response to a statement like the one my associate made not once but twice over the past two weeks? He says we are in a "time of change and uncertainty" and the economy has in fact been in the grave for a very long time and "Biden's economy was smoke and mirrors not reality" and "thousands of social security checks are going out to people age 150"; and we are now finally taking stock and dealing with the reality of all the fraud and waste and deceit and lies about our economy.

He welcomes everything Trump is doing. I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone can be so blind.

Trump and Project 2025 are taking notes from the Jekyll Island meeting. Details in Secrets of The Federal Reserve spell out how 1929 was planned, and it allowed the appearance of The Robber Barons!

The secret meeting was held at night, and the names of the attendees were hidden. Project 2025 is following that handbook and adding more "ways and means" to reduce America to a repeat of 1929.

Great work, gentlemen. Gotta say that I am pleasantly surprised that Amy Coney Barrett (the 5th woman to serve on SCOTUS) voted AGAINST TRUMP, AGAIN. Did you see her facial expressions during TFG's entry to the SOTU as he was glad-handing John Roberts? She looked like she was uncomfortable as hell being close to Trump. Her face was a BEACON of disgust.

She didn't look happy or celebratory, and when Dumpty turned around in her direction, she offered up a very broad smile. He said something to her, and her face dropped. She looked like she was at a funeral. She's got to be living a nightmare.
