Trump truly doesn't give a fuck. He is dying, and wants to take the whole damn country to the grave with him!

It has been a very long time since I have read the bible; however, this comes to mind: It was easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to gain eternal life (Matthew 19:24; Mark 10:25; Luke 18:25).

and I don't think it counts if you are as big as a camel.

I tend to agree with the dying thing. All of sudden, he's talking about going to heaven. He is not the kind of person to think about his death. He's the kind of person that is so egotistical he assumes he'll live forever. I suspect he got some bad news recently.

trump’s plan is to bring as much chaos and violence to blue states that he will call martial law in those states and restrict voting in 2026 & 2028. He must be stopped BEFORE 2026! Look at the damage he has done in 8 months. You can imagine what state our country will be in by then. Desperate times means DESPERATE measures. Why isn’t Pritzger seeing trump to stop the military from coming?

The fact that everyone who is suppose to serve the constitution and us as the American People have chosen the wrong side of history and those that have chosen should NEVER serve in ANY capacity for the American People or government. In fact they should be jailed for protecting and knowingly covering up horrendous crime against children. immigrants, and the American people and choosing to protect the perpetrator over the innocent victims.

I now know why Trump didn't put his hand on the bible because he had no intention of ever following the constitution and his sick Christian Nationalist clearly would frown on having his tiny hands on the bible while lying. American has sincerely fallen and I am not sure we will ever get her back without a Revolution or Civil war. Thank you Meidas Touch for doing the right thing....that is courage.

These farmers are the same men and women who wanted to own the libs because they say the libs are giving away benefits to the undeserving. They want to deport immigrants but not THEIR undocumented workers. They screamed that the Dems were socialists but now they want government assistance. Well, the chickens have come home to roost in their red MAGA hats. A big boo hoo, they’re getting everything they voted for.

I certainly would give my life for freedom!

Exactly. WHAT CAN WE DO? We know all this is going on, we agree, but we need to DO something.

How can we help those families who are losing homes and food and family? How can we support children going to school without supplies or lunch? We have to find ways, locally, to identify and help.

This is how we push back. And I don't know how to do this myself, but I know it MUST be done.

Beth Witrogen. There have been so many suggestions already about what people can do. You named some specifics about what you want to support. I don’t know where you live, but I assume you are part of a community. If I can give one example. A breakfast program at a school is not difficult to set up. Community driven. Donations of $$ and food - toast and peanut butter. Fruit. Milk. People give what they can. Grocery stores help. I have done this. You will see children who won’t normally have breakfast perform so much better. Just a thought. One idea. Good luck. 🇨🇦🇨🇦

I realize this is not the point of this piece. However, please note that the supplies "teachers demand" are usually bought BY teachers when students don't bring them in. And, thanks to his tax reform, teachers can't write off more than $200 ... even when we normally spend into the thousands of our own money. (But thank goodness private yachts can be tax deductible.) If schools were funded appropriately, this wouldn't be an issue.
