Very predictable Trump would close the door on Zelenskyy. His daddy (Putin) wouldn't like it. Now, all the promises to NATO and Zelenskyy was a bold face lie. He loves to play people. Evil and vile piece of shit. He should be playing Putin but that is never going to happen, he's Putin's bitch.

MeidasTouch Network's avatar

Unfortunately, the second Trump started claiming he was going to help Ukraine and the media praise ensued, I knew everyone should be more skeptical.

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

I'm right there with you. I was very skeptical when I heard his claims. He's unworthy of any sort of trust.

Barbara Lee's avatar

Or for ever doing the right thing! Ever in his entire life!

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

Absolutely. He's always been a vile piece of shit. Fraudster etc.

ramonaj's avatar

Thanks Ben and Joanne. Yes. Absolutely. The truth. Like I said. Never trust a Trumper so why trust the crusted demento pedo protector himself.

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

I hope Zelenskyy has FINALLY learned his lesson. It is sad what he did to him but it's time for him to move on from the piece of shit.

It’s kind of interesting that Lindsey Graham supported Ukraine and now he’s dead.

It is also interesting that Mitch McConnell supported Ukraine and now he is in some sort of hibernation. This isn’t surprising because a lot of people are referred to mention McConnell as turtle boy and turtles are a cold blooded reptile that will bury itself in the mud when it hibernate. Mitch McConnell has always been a cold blooded political animal with a lot of the characteristics of a reptile.

We can’t help it. We know a lying cheating criminal when we see one

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

I find it extremely odd. I don't want to push any conspiracy theory but damn.

You always know he will pick putin over Ukraine in all things. It is disheartening to me. Putin has something on him and I am positive it has to do with the Epstein situation. That is a world wide very deep issue.

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

It's shameful and despicable.

Kathy Davidson's avatar

He won’t hurt Putin, even though Putin is siding with Iran and helping them in this war. Bottom line is Putin has the Epstein files too so he can get tRump to do anything he wants.

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

True. Russia bombed a US factory in Ukraine overnight and I heard nothing from the Trump regime about it. Unless I missed it?

Kathy Davidson's avatar

I didn’t hear anything about it either

McTaco may have ordered the strike.........an 80 year old, psyco narcissist with dementia and a full face of make up........

Hound's avatar

Epstein and Robert Maxwell were Russian assets. Putin is not the only world leader who has dirt on Trump. On the other hand, Russia is being destroyed and Trump doesn’t wanna be on the side of a loser because Trump is a loser and is a loser. If Putin puts out more dirt on Trump Trump will just call it fake news and his MAGATS will believe him. I think Trump might stab Putin in the back.

Trump and his family are in deep shit. They may become targets of not only Iran but of Russia as well and maybe even Venezuela. I wouldn’t want to be on the security detail that protects Trump‘s family.

I don’t think Iran will go after Trump and his family because right now they are playing Trump like a cheap fiddle. Trump is too stupid to know that he has become an Iranian asset.

Djt is very dumb, and dumb people repeat mistakes over and over! Especially when they gain $ personally as they lie & kill!

Hound's avatar

Trump has never met a genocidal dictator that he didn’t love. Trump and his Maga mental midgets admired Hitler. Everything that’s going on in the Trump resume appear to be tactics taken out of the Nazi playbook.

Barbara Lee's avatar

You are absolutely right!

WJB Motown's avatar

After a lifetime of jet-streaming Orange bullshit........it is mindblowing that anyone would believe a single word spewed. Year after year of warnings and thousands of documented lies.

elliemae.padme66's avatar

It was mentioned last night on Bluesky that Russia had bombed a USA drone factory in Ukraine.

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

Thanks, Elliemae. I actually meant I hadn't heard Trump acknowledge it or did I miss that?

Max Miller needs to resign. The GOP needs to call him out and force him out. They won't though because they are desperate to maintain control of the house. Sickening. If this were a democrat, all hell would break loose, a total outrage from the GOP. This double standard crap is disgusting.

MeidasTouch Network's avatar

And the legacy media would never stop talking about it. But as we know: Republicans have one set of rules — and everyone else is forced to live under far greater scrutiny.

Jennifer Kass's avatar

All we have to do is look about a month into the past and compare this situation with Graham Platner. I just put "Republican quotes on Graham Platner" into Google, and here is what came up first.

Joe Gruters (RNC Chair) Stated that Democrats are "completely stained by their association with this sick monster" after Platner faced misconduct allegations and exited the race.

I wonder what Gruters would have to say about Max Miller. I'm guessing it would be a very different story.

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

Yes, of course it would be a different story. If you ask me, the GOP is "stained" by their association to Trump. Unbelievable.

Jennifer Kass's avatar

I've long thought that the only positive thing about the Republican Party backing Trump is that they finally mostly put to rest all the "Family Values" nonsense. I remember seeing Trump on stage in 2016 on election night. I looked at my husband and said - the party of Family Values just elected a man who is on stage with his third wife (an immigrant who he cheated on with a porn star) and five children with three different women. Imagine if this had been Obama!! Fox News would have melted off the TV.

Sharon Herrick's avatar

And don't forget that he committed fellatio with a microphone at one of his campaign rallies. But, of course, the crowd loved it. I just saw a poll that claimed that Republicans do not see accusations of domestic abuse or sexual assault as reasons not to support a candidate. Hmmmmm...

Jennifer Kass's avatar

I had forgotten about that. All these "Evangelical Christians" just laughed and laughed. Mike Johnson who has his own son monitoring his phone to make sure he's not looking at porn, where is the outrage at this kind of thing?

Wendy B.'s avatar

He has a Dem challenger in the midterms, Brian Poindexter, that people are throwing their support behind while simultaneously demanding that Miller resign. https://poindexterforcongress.com/

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

That's awesome. Thanks for pointing that out. Max Miller is disturbing.

JudiLI's avatar

Miller leaves a trail of abuse going back to 2007. Stephanie Grisham wrote about it in her book. He sued her for defamation but dropped it in 2023, gee I wonder why I say sarcastically! Both he and Moreno, for his disgusting behavior toward Dr. Fauci, need to be removed.

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

I totally agree as I sit here shaking my head in disgust.

ramonaj's avatar

What a shitshow. Every where. It never stops. What is gonna happen Aug 3. The is Mitch dead or not Deadline. ? Did I miss something. 😳

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

No, you didn't miss anything. We're talking about Max Miller and Bernie Moreno. Mitch is still MIA as far as I know.

David Maceira's avatar

It's been a year and a half. We've watched the regime twist in the wind and accomplish nothing. Spiraling out of control on the economy, affordability, an illegal war and give thousands of people explosive diarrhea. So, we'll blame the democrats because we can't accept responsibility for our actions. This is the methodology of incompetent people.

MeidasTouch Network's avatar

You hit the nail on the head.

C Bowlby's avatar

Well, djt was busy, lending Tate buddy's a hand! Tate pedos flock together, with djt&family pedos!

Not sure if they are officially helping the Tate's. But even if they stated publicly, they wouldn't help them in any capacity their word means squat.

The regime cannot be trusted.

I can see that. 👀 Mike.

The key to defeating Trump? Mass non-cooperation | Mark Engler and Paul Engler

The following are excerpts from this article.

“The extraordinary level of grassroots solidarity and creative resistance in anti-ICE protests in Minnesota has given people a new appreciation for the power that mass non-cooperation can have in resisting the Trump administration’s drive toward authoritarianism. And it has created an awareness of why such action is clearly needed.

Early in Trump’s second term, an array of mainstream critics expressed skepticism about the value of continued protests in the streets. They invested their faith in institutions such as Congress and the courts. But as these institutions – along with law firms, universities and the business community – have each caved in to the administration’s demands and proven themselves unwilling to catalyze an ardent defense of democracy, it has been left to the people themselves to do this essential work.

Mainstream political thinking in the US sees power as “monolithic,” resting in the hands of senators, generals, billionaires, presidents and CEOs. From that vantage point, the options for opposing a rogue administration seem desperately thin: wait for elections, file a lawsuit, hope for some unforeseen maneuver by elites. This worldview breeds despair. One prominent Democratic party consultant even advised that the best course for progressives is simply to “roll over and play dead”.

Those immersed in social movements look at the process of change in a different way than political insiders do. Instead of subscribing to the monolithic view of power, they hold a social view of power, which understands that those in positions of authority are dependent upon the cooperation and support of the governed.

Now, as then, the list of methods is best seen as an invitation to creativity, reminding organizers they have many tools in their collective toolbox – each with distinctive properties and powers. The potential of civil resistance is not just in holding large demonstrations. It is in drawing from a vast array of strikes, boycotts, noncooperation tactics and artistic protest. And it is in coming up with innovative forms of creative resistance that may never have been seen before.”

From The Peaceful Solution:

Please: Resist. Stop cooperating. Stop spending. Stop the fascist takeover.

Thank you for restacking, and sharing, to help Spread the Word!

Thanks Ben, no matter what deal Trump is pushing to whomever, you can't ever trust Trump which is why my PM Carney is pushing back against any trade deal with Trump.

The part that jumped out at me is how quickly this roundup moves from Iran and a disappointing GDP number to Fauci. Once the present gets hard to defend, the grievance machine reaches backward for a villain everybody already knows how to hate. Different crisis, same emotional assignment.

I pre-ordered your book from Amazon.

MeidasTouch Network's avatar

Thank you Barbara! That means a lot!

Wendy B.'s avatar

No one is going to make deals with Trump. He never honors them. Sometimes he changes the terms of the deal seconds after the agreement is made. Iran would just be wasting their time to negotiate with him, which they seem to understand.

While I enjoy your column, a small (not so small) correction is in order. The North Koreans have had nuclear weapons for 20 years - verified in 2006 with detected successful tests - well before Obama was elected. We can blame the current Administration for much - but not that. Blame Bush instead. Or better yet, the persistence of the North Koreans, who have been working on developing nuclear weapon capabilities for literally 70 years, since they began training with Soviet scientists in 1956.

Mike's avatar

North Korea tested their first nuclear weapon on October 9th 2006. However it wasn't until 2017 that they obtained the means to fire/launch a nuclear weapon. Dumpty was the president in 2017.

Wendy B.'s avatar

I'm glad to see your report on the migrants and Spain. I was skimming through legacy media a few minutes ago, just to see what they are saying, and they had a story about it that made no sense. Your explanation was fabulous.

SoCalBirdingChick's avatar

Hey, I have an idea! Dumpty, why don't you use your own fucking money to pay those you perceive were victims of weaponized DOJ. Yeah, right....that'll never happen.

I don't consider this America losing to Iran. The Republican Hawks will. I see The 🍊 IT losing. Iran has dealt with the US for decades. This is different. Of course, the American public gets hurt.

Trump is wavering on his promise to let Ukraine, under licence, to make Patriot missiles. He has likely been warned by his puppet-master (Putin) not to do it, or else.....(Putin unleashes what he knows about how Trump is described in the Epstein files).
