Won't happen. Well, he might lie about them, but they won't be impeached. The senate Republicans let impeached Trump get away with his crimes against the nation. Senate Democrats would not vote to convict a baseless impeachment of any of the good justices, even if the Republicans could successfully impeach them in the House, which is highly doubtful.

As Trump’s immoral and unethical retribution programme ensues and he makes comments about wanting to get into heaven, I harken back to the religious indoctrination of my youth and the one statement in the Bible that has been a touchstone in my life: “Vengeance is mine,” sayeth the Lord. All you self proclaimed Christian MAGAs drooling over the retributions, you know this isn’t justice or justifiable, so I imagine you’ll have to do some fast talking at heaven’s gate too.

Speaking of the Bible, I came across a YouTube video and way out of the Pope speaking of a series of visions he has had that sound ominous. Like the Biblical visions. Maybe it’s his voice. The visions tell that the United States is being tested by what is occurring now with this president.

I believe we are beyond being tested. The test has come and gone and we failed. Now, like Sodom and Gomorrah, we need an indeterminant number of righteously indignant people to come forward, but I’m not sure there are enough such courageous people to qualify the US for acquittal from a daily darkening future reckoning.

That part of the story, where Abraham bargains God down sequentially from 50 to 10 and then decides he'd better not push his luck, is one of my favorite parts of the OT. (Gen. 18)

Push just a wee bit harder, Abe, for the sake of our nation. Can't we find ten righteous ones in DC? No? OK then, how about nine? Surely there must be nine!

There are indeed, or at least there ought to be. Alas, these days most times out of that nine we can't even find five.

Trump Says Obama Is Guilty of Treason, Democracy Docket, July 22, 2025, https://tinyurl.com/yk79yzuf

President Donald Trump from the Oval Office Tuesday accused former President Barack Obama of treason, which is punishable by death. Trump was reacting to Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard’s recent baseless allegations that Obama attempted to organize a “coup” against Trump in 2016. “It’s time to go after people,” the president said. “Obama’s been caught directly. He’s guilty. This was treason.”

"You can feel the pattern now; it’s not coincidence, it’s choreography."

This is giving Trump too much credit. The choreographer is Susie Wiles, his Chief of Staff. As you have reported, Trump is too unwell to choreograph anything beyond keeping his chin clean from Big Mac sauce.

Why does she not get any attention? From anybody? How does she manage to avoid scrutiny when she shows up in almost every photo? I don't get it.

An AlterNet article ('A Huge Problem': DOJ May Have Withheld Evidence Suggesting Letitia James’ Innocence) says, “U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan may have left out important information in her indictment against New York AG Letitia James that might have derailed some charges…Federal rules on the presentation of evidence state that ‘It is the policy of the Department of Justice… that when a prosecutor conducting a grand jury inquiry is personally aware of substantial evidence that directly negates the guilt of a subject of the investigation, the prosecutor must present or otherwise disclose such evidence to the grand jury before seeking an indictment against such a person.’ The rules further state that appellate courts ‘may refer violations of the policy to the Office of Professional Responsibility for review.’”

This entire situation is beyond my ken. Why is this mentally unstable, deranged, psychopath, allowed to remain in office especially in light of the building of a Qatari air force being built in Idaho. If that’s not traitorous behavior, I don’t know what is. He’s a CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER and he’s prancing around, breaking every law in the Constitution, indicting people perceived as his enemy. The ‘trillions’ of dollars alleged to have been taken in probably will never make its way to our farmers. Attacking the blue states with even the force of hovering Black Hawk helicopters, thugs - I care not that they’re military - rappelling down, kicking in doors in the middle of the night, frightening occupants beyond reason. A family done in such a manner had their dog shot in cold blood. One of the tenants informed these ‘individuals’ the dog, a Rottweiler, had been put in the bathroom and it was aggressive. As the tenant went to his car to retrieve his ID, they shot the dog! This is beyond evil yet allowed to continue! And why is that? Why is this allowed to continue? Citizens are dying while detained. Snatched off of the streets, family members not being told where they are. Sit on your thumbs while your country is being razed in front of your eyes!

It appears that so far the indictments of those on Trump’s enemies list mirror crimes for which Trump was prosecuted. Fraud against James and Schiff, classified documents against Bolton. Kind of like tit for tat with a scorecard. Who will he find to mirror charges of sexual abuse and defamation? Most of them are his friends or cabinet officials.
