With any luck Canks will drop dead long before 2028…❤️

Keep feeding him a jet stream of Big Macs....Whoppers....barrels of KFC to get that fatal...final heart attack happening.

Michele2's avatar

Given the fact that Trump's mind and its boundaries are "eviscerated", Miller may be the "parasite" whispering in his ear the encouragement to continue to bribe Supreme Court Justices to end birthright citizenship with the succulent promise of a third term for Trump's own malignant ambitions!

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

Trump might desperately want to believe this but it's not realistic. He's be better off bribing hi with fake awards.

Richard Keller's avatar

People who want their birthright citizenship should work on assassinating the people depriving them of it.

Richard Keller's avatar

I think it will be that gelatinous sludge that KFC calls gravy that will be his undoing.

Janet Haagenstad's avatar

That is the best description I’ve heard of KFC’s so-called gravy.

Charles's avatar

That's my plan! I call it, "One last cheeseburger"!

Unfortunately JDV or another autocrat will take over and the SC will do whatever the Heritage US Found…. Ehhhh….Administration wants.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

Vance does not have that bizarre charisma that has made MAGA more about Trump than being a Republican. They won't show up for Vance.

Mobiguy's avatar

Vance doesn't need charisma. He doesn't need popularity. Once Trump is done with the country, he won't need an election.

Because it's not about Trump. Trump is the wedge in the door for the people who are really in command - Heritage, the racists and the oligarchs. They all know he's a buffoon but they need him to get "elected" one more time so he can hand power over to Vance, either voluntarily or through the inevitable progress of time. If Trump can last till 2028, the plan will be complete and there will be no further need for Presidential elections in 2032 or beyond.

Once Vance is in power, he won't ever again need to convince anybody to vote for him. Just like Putin.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

The more we claim this, the more people disengage and give up and give them a chance to make it happen. We need to stop this dystopian projection. Vance will never be in power; he doesn't have that weird magical thing that Putin and Trump have. And you need that front guy, that guy in charge.

Geri Cochran's avatar

I've been afraid of this happening as well. And if/when it does, all but the uber wealthy will have miserable lives. :( All protections will have been taken away. 40 hour work week? what is that...no man you gotta work 7 days a week. And 8 hour day? nah...you'll leave when I say you'll leave. Conned out of your savings? Ah well, best find a second job. Occupational safety? Keep yourself safe. sigh

Kathy Hughes's avatar

Exactly. Vance is if anything, even more obnoxious and dislikeable than Trump.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

They are both obnoxious and dislikable, but Trump has some kind of weird hold on his MAGAs, and they perceive him through a distorted lens. That lens doesn't perceive Vance the same way. He has none of the brash, "heroic" qualities they worship in Trump. He's just a clumsy, dopey oaf.

Kathy Hughes's avatar

That’s a great explanation!

Beth Winfrey's avatar

I agree with you, I will not be watching them this year. I hate the sight and sound of Trump and refuse to listen to his shit.

bitchybitchybitchy's avatar

Why watch a malignant narcissist and a bunch of has been "performers "?

Every person who accepted these honors deserves ridicule and contempt.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

Given his current steep decline, he'll be lucky to survive that long. If he does he'll be in such bad shape, he wouldn't even be able to campaign.

Angela Shipman's avatar

I agree with you there, he needs to LONG before then!

Susan Fuller's avatar

Please remove him by 2026

Marek's avatar

remove him NOW!

Cappy Fann's avatar

Nothing in politics works that quickly. Even Johnson immediately swearing in the newest Republican house member couldn't happen before the election which tool a few weeks.

Maybe, with luck, Trump will be visited by the ghost of Christmas past, will have a stroke and not see the dawn. If that happens, no need to worry about the ghosts of Christmas present and Christmas future.

Judith Auerbach's avatar

Except for that hateful Vance who will then become President

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

Given Vance's lack of that weird appeal Trump has to MAGA, he'd have to fix everything that's going wrong to stand a chance of survival, and since all that stuff is what his owner Peter Thiel wants he really can't be independent.

Judith Auerbach's avatar

Yes, but what makes you think that Thiel wants it fixed?

Amanda Olszewski's avatar

He must be removed next year if Democrats get the House and Senate.

Renee Goodman's avatar

When the take over!!!

Renee Goodman's avatar

Amanda, thank you!

Robert stocker's avatar

Problem is not just Trump, he is too demented and stupid to come up with 90% of this crazy shit. Blame his ass-kissing admin who feed him this stuff and tell him this is how you look great and powerful. No doubt Trump needs to go , but throwing his Nazi gestapo Steven Miller immediatley in prison comes next.

nks's avatar

Along with the entire crew of misfits- scoop up Russ Vought along with the Heritage Foundation dorks.

Plus negate scotus’s slanted rulings and shitty shadow dockets.

Deli Lanoux's avatar

Oh, absolutely!!! No doubt about it!!!

Teri's avatar

We MUST STOP HIM!!!

Candace Lucas's avatar

looks like we're just going to have to kill him.

Deli Lanoux's avatar

He definitely needs to be gone... forever... his brood along with him. But, then there's JD Vance and the rest of the rotten retinue. I've often imagined the earth imploding just under them, mind you, and sucking them into China or Siberia. But, then I think about the evil they'd do there. So, then I think about the earth's core. And, sure, that'd work. It's close to hell, too, and they'd never be able to return to do anyone harm ever again. Just crazy thoughts, I suppose. But The Whole Mess is sure infuriating, disturbing, dangerous, and downright disgusting. What to do, what to do. I wish them no ill, mind you. I just want them all gone, gone, gone. And I don't care where. They've done so much harm that we can't have them around any longer.

Sharliegram's avatar

I wish them THEM ALL THE ILL!!!!!

bitchybitchybitchy's avatar

Vance,Musk, Thiel Zuckercuck will be happy to slither off to Putin, or more likely thr Saudi peninsula

Barbara Lee's avatar

Just throw them all down a volcano and watch it erupt!

Karen's avatar

How about banning them all to the nether regions of Siberia? With one week’s worth of rations of course…that way he can be forever close to his mentor putin. They can erect a monument right by his frozen body. 😜

Cappy Fann's avatar

Erupt? Volcano would probably belch them all back out and you'd be visited by some world antipollution groups taking you to task for trying to destroy the volcano.

Deli Lanoux's avatar

Hilarious! I had a cartoon moment envisioning it all. We are so bad, Barbara!!

Renee Goodman's avatar

Deli, 100% right on!!!

Renee Goodman's avatar

Yes, and all smart minds think alike!

Deli Lanoux's avatar

How right you are, Renee!!! We don't want to do damage to anyone. We simply want the ogres gone... forever.

Deli Lanoux's avatar

Imagination knows no bounds, right?!!!

Kathi Wallace's avatar

Lower Slobowbia sounds good too since no one really knows where it actually is. I just remember my Mom telling me if I didn't behave, she was sending me there. Looked it up on a map and in the dictionary, still couldn't find it.

bitchybitchybitchy's avatar

Overthrow or bribe Bukele and ship them all to CECOT.

Deli Lanoux's avatar

Oh, my, gosh! I love this! I'll definitely look into Slobowbia. Krampus comes to mind! What childhoods we had, eh? I'm gonna picture us sitting around a campfire sharing all these myths.

Thornton Prayer's avatar

You need to take this down asap. You don't want anything posted suggesting violence against this office or the officeholder. The Secret Service actively looks for language like this so that's why you want to retract this statement.

Barbara Lee's avatar

What about freedom of speech? No one should have to take anything down!

Thornton Prayer's avatar

I support free speech as much as anyone else. However, the Secret Service has a specific mandate to investigate threats real or imagined against whoever is president. There are many stories about people making threats online, via email or text. on the phone, etc. against a president and later got an unexpected and unpleasant visit from the Secret Service and other law enforcement. I just don't want the original commenter getting into trouble if they can avoid it.

It's just like you can't make any comments about bombs or explosives at an airport especially if you are boarding a commercial airliner. A long time ago, I was in line to check my luggage with a business colleague who joked about having a bomb. Some security people immediately pulled him aside and starting grilling him. He told him that he was just joking but they made it crystal clear that there was zero tolerance about bomb jokes. This was long before 9/11 and the whole TSA infrastructure was set up so you know things are more intense around this now.

You can say whatever you want but don't state anything that could suggest a direct threat especially in a public forum. Be bold but be smart about this please.

Deli Lanoux's avatar

Thank you. Funny how those of us polite human beings have turned to Substack to air our grievances.

Roberta Houle's avatar

Candace. Hahaha. It looks like the women need to take charge. 💪💪👊

Deli Lanoux's avatar

That's exactly what I thought!!!

Deli Lanoux's avatar

Certain traditions we hold dear as a nation. The Kennedy Center is a very special place, so Trump should never ever ever have "gone there," you know? Sacrilegious.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

Well, keep sending over the McDonalds.

Cappy Fann's avatar

You might want to reword that sentence. Not too many organizations look favorably on people advocating killing anyone.

Kathi Wallace's avatar

So since Ivana & melania were on temp visas that means their kids are not actual citizens? Both became citizens AFTER their kids were born. It also means since felon fake president trump's mother was not a citizen when he was born, neither is he a citizen. The Constitution states only "citizens" can run for the position of President. Not to mention, both times he took the oath, he DID NOT have his tiny little hand on the Bible. Maybe main stream media didn't catch that but from seeing it on different podcasts a lot of us did. As the saying goes, be careful what you wish for, you just may get it and not like the outcome. Couldn't happen to a nicer idiot. What a disgusting creature he is.

Deli Lanoux's avatar

Like you, I continue to wonder...

MDL's avatar

I'm sure if the SCOTUS rules against birthright citizenship, it will apply going forward, not to people who are already born.

Allison's avatar

I understand the severity of this, but Trump won't last that long. How does it help him or his family if the presidency passes to Vance?

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

In particular it won't help the Republican Party which is currently based on blind worship of Trump, which won't transfer to Vance.

Sheldon Timin's avatar

let us see if MAGA Supremes reinterpret the Constitition and ignore Stare Decisis [See 1898 Supreme Court decision in United States Vs Wong Kim Ark which affirmed Birthright Citizenship}

Kelvin Hobbs's avatar

Excellent, thank you for sharing this.

United States v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 U.S. 649, 703-705 (1898) https://tinyurl.com/5bm9vpv6

No one doubts that the Amendment, as soon as it was promulgated, applied to persons of African descent born in the United States, wherever the birthplace of their parents might have been, and yet, for two years afterwards, there was no statute authorizing persons of that race to be naturalized. If the omission or the refusal of Congress to permit certain classes of persons to be made citizens by naturalization could be allowed the effect of correspondingly restricting the classes of persons who should become citizens.by birth, it would be in the power of Congress, at any time, by striking negroes out of the naturalization laws, and limiting those laws, as they were formerly limited, to white persons only, to defeat the main purpose of the Constitutional Amendment.

The fact, therefore, that acts of Congress or treaties have not permitted Chinese persons born out of this country to become citizens by naturalization, cannot exclude Chinese persons born in this country from the operation of the broad and clear words of the Constitution, "All persons born in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States." VII. Upon the facts agreed in this case, the American citizenship which Wong Kim Ark acquired by birth within the United States has not been lost or taken away by anything happening since his birth.

The evident intention, and the necessary effect, of the submission of this case to the decision of the court upon the facts agreed by the parties were to present for determination the single question stated at the beginning of this opinion, namely, whether a child born in the United States, of parent of Chinese descent, who, at the time of his birth, are subjects of the Emperor of China, but have a permanent domicil and residence in the United States, and are there carrying on business, and are not employed in any diplomatic or official capacity under the Emperor of China, becomes at the time of his birth a citizen of the United States. For the reasons above stated, this court is of opinion that the question must be answered in the affirmative.

Deli Lanoux's avatar

Thank you both for bringing this up!!

Linde Liu's avatar

This is profoundly disturbing and needs to be shared more widely!

Vince Tichenor's avatar

Trump dies, replaced by Peter Thiel’s boy, J D Vance. This is not going to end unless we stand together and defeat the republicans and keep them from power until they learn the Constitution is America.

Deli Lanoux's avatar

I know!!! What a catch-22!!

Rob Jones's avatar

He'll be pushing up daisies before this will be an issue.

Sue Stjohn's avatar

He won't know what day it is by the end of his term.....

Does anyone know where SCOTUS and Congress have left their spinal cords? We need emergency major spinal surgery stat! Thanks for the great article about #47 trying to hijack #22 via #14.

#HoldFast

Deli Lanoux's avatar

Apparently they parked them at Mar-a-Lago.

Barbara Lee's avatar

My only solace in this is that sooner or later this monster of a man will die. Hopefully sooner than later. Who knows what damage he will leave behind! Maybe we can pick up the pieces of what’s left of America 🇺🇸

Deli Lanoux's avatar

Yes. That's the Dread. JD Vance and his puppetmakers snub regular folks like you and me.

Joan MacLeod's avatar

The Supreme Court is corrupt and when the Democrats get back in power something has to be done so this never happens again.

Deli Lanoux's avatar

Yes!!! We need term limits. Desperately.
