It’s getting to the point that I’m afraid to open a news report anymore! Every day it’s something crazy from Trump. What an embarrassment for the entire country and the MAGA butt kissers ought to be ashamed.

Ps Hegseth is making the military bombing the fishing boats to sign NDAS. I mean WTF?

An NDS that is signed to hide a criminal act should be declared void as against public policy. The military is being put in an impossible position here and itʻs a crime that the Congress is so impotent that it allows this nonsense.

It's time for someone high enough in authority in the military to stand up and say "ENOUGH" to these illegal boat bombings. Are they afraid of losing their jobs and pensions or are those protected if the claim "illegal" is true?

Expand full comment
May Lee's avatar

There isn't anyone in the military that has any power to stand up and say "enough". Trump is commander in chief and to go against his orders (from Hegseth or whoever). It wouldn't just be a court-martial or losing their jobs or pensions, they'd be tried for TREASON, which carries a death penalty in this country. And you KNOW trump would try to execute someone on national tv just for the fun of it. We're getting nothing in the way of guardrails from Congress or the Supreme Court, so it's going to take pitchforks in the streets or a coup of some sort to STOP them.

In his first term, Trump had a number of high-ranking officers act as his advisors. That did not go too well. They usually wound up resigning their positions because Trump doesn't listen to good advice (or any advice, either, as far as I can tell).

Cappy Fann's avatar

If one thinks about it, the majority of the military are enlisted, young, and not long out of high school. They're proven to be gullible. (They believed the recruiter.) The remaining 35% are most likely officers --who learned critical thinking in college, along with senior enlisted who have learned how to detect bullshit during the course of their enlistment.

It would be interesting to know the college majors of officers who support Trump.

Face palming, showing anything but respect for the CINC could get a military member into trouble. That positive re advanced imaging really isn't saying much because we don't really know what tests were done;

What is Advanced Imaging in Diagnostics?

Advanced imaging in diagnostics encompasses cutting-edge technologies that allow healthcare professionals to see detailed images of the inside of your body—without the need for invasive surgery. These techniques are pillars of modern diagnostic procedures, helping to detect, evaluate, and monitor various conditions with higher precision.

MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging): Uses magnets and radio waves to create detailed images of organs and tissues—great for brain, joints, or spinal cord assessments.

CT (Computed Tomography) Scan: Combines X-rays and computer technology to produce cross-sectional images—for internal injuries, tumors, or infections.

PET (Positron Emission Tomography) Scan: Tracks metabolic and chemical activity, commonly for cancer, brain, and heart health.

Ultrasound: Uses sound waves for real-time imaging, ideal for pregnancy checks, organ evaluation, and soft tissue issues.

3D Mammography: An advanced breast imaging technique for early cancer detection.
